Morgan Wallen Blocked From Erecting Sign At New Nashville Bar

On May 22nd, The Tennessean reported shocking news that Morgan Wallen probably won’t be happy about. Elected officials in Nashville blocked a massive sign from being erected over Morgan’s new bar in Music City. Even more unbelievable, the Nashville city council threw major shade at “the bad boy of country music.”

Morgan’s branded bar will open during the busy Memorial Day weekend in a popular tourist area on Broadway known as ‘Nashville’s Honky Tonk Highway.’ A branded bar means that Morgan is licensing his name and, in this case, his music to the establishment for marketing purposes. TC Restaurant Group is the company that is “developing and managing the bar,” according to the Tennessean.

Morgan’s bar is called Morgan Wallen’s This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen. It’s a take on “This Bar,” Morgan’s huge country hit from 2019.

The bar’s prime location is 107 Fourth Avenue North, a high-traffic area near Ryman Auditorium. It covers six stories with six bars, including a rooftop party zone and live music on three stages throughout the building.

TC Restaurant Group had presented plans to the Nashville council to erect a gigantic 20-foot neon sign over the bar advertising “Morgan Wallen’s This Bar.” The Nashville council didn’t just say no. They rejected the plans by a shocking margin.

Morgan Gives East Tennessee “A Bad Name”

The Tennessean reported that Nashville councilors voted 30-3 to deny a sign being erected over Morgan’s bar. And some of the dozens of councilors who rejected Morgan had a few choice words for him.

Jordan Huffman is Nashville’s District 14 Council member. He told the council he comes from the same area as Morgan.

Jordan said, “Mr. Wallen is a fellow East Tennessean. He gives all of us a bad name.”

But Jordan didn’t stop there. He thinks Morgan’s “comments are hateful” and “his actions are harmful.”

Antoinette Lee represents District 33 in Nashville. She voted no because she thinks it might “help folks who are doing these harmful actions” to “think twice.”

Nashville council member Brenda Gadd represents District 24. She sounds like she’s lost faith in Morgan as someone who can think twice about their actions, describing him as “someone who continues to get second chances.” Unfortunately, Morgan has yet to prove he’s learned from his mistakes.

“At-Home” Council member Delishia Porterfield said, “I don’t want to see a billboard up with the name of a person who’s throwing chairs off of balconies and who is saying racial slurs.” Delishia was referring to two reckless incidents that have tarnished Morgan’s status as a country superstar. Most recently, on April 7th, he was arrested on Broadway after he tossed a chair off the rooftop of the newly opened Chief’s bar, owned by his buddy, Eric Church.

US Weekly reported on the racial slurs uttered by Morgan that got him temporarily canceled by country music in 2021. However, it was TMZ who really got into the shocking backstory of what Morgan did late on a Sunday night in February.

Morgan’s Behavior Has Caused Significant Controversy

According to TMZ’s sources, Morgan and his friends had returned to Morgan’s house after a “rowdy night” out. Morgan appeared to be visibly intoxicated. Sources reported that “he hurled the n-word and other profanities” as he walked up his driveway.

Shockingly, the fallout might not even have happened if Morgan kept it quiet. As TMZ reported, Morgan’s neighbors got mad at how “extremely loud” Morgan was late at night. One neighbor was so enraged that they “began recording the antics,” which became the shocking video that got Morgan into a heap of trouble with his record label.

Morgan’s recent chair-throwing scandal went worldwide. The Independent reported on April 8th that Morgan was “charged with three felony counts and one misdemeanor,” but the real truth about this incident is worse.

The pedestrian traffic on Broadway is generally packed anytime the bars and honky tonks are open. That chair that Morgan threw could have seriously or even fatally injured someone below.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, two of its officers were stationed on Broadway. They reported that the chair Morgan tossed off the roof “landed just a few feet” from them.

Law enforcement quickly investigated after the chair crashed on the street. Witnesses and staff at Chief’s identified Morgan as the person responsible. Metro Nashville PD also confirmed that officers had “reviewed the bar’s security footage” and witnessed for themselves Morgan “lunging and then throwing the object over the roof.”

Arrest documents showed that Morgan had to post a $15,250 bond. Metro Nashville PD did not release him until 3:30 a.m. on Monday, April 8th.

A Few Council Members Stood by Morgan

While 30 Nashville council members refused to excuse Morgan for his actions, who were the three members who voted in favor of allowing the bar to erect a sign with Morgan’s name?

The Tennessean reported that Jacob Kupin was one of the council members willing to green-light “the sign’s installation.” However, Jacob claimed during the council meeting that he wasn’t willing to let Morgan “just slide through quietly.”

Jacob said it struck him that “We’re putting up a sign with someone’s name on it who has not been a good actor downtown.” But Jacob considered that Morgan had “made efforts to apologize and to make amends.”

Since Jacob represents the downtown area on the Nashville city council, he claimed that he “voted in favor” because he was more concerned about the effect on TC Restaurant Group. Jacob explained that TC “has been really a good partner in everything going on downtown.” He thought it was unfair that TC gets “penalized for what happened.”

Jacob also went on the record saying how important it is to “remind those watching at home, the public, whether you’re a celebrity or someone coming to our town… that downtown needs to be a safe place.”

Morgan Has Attempted to Make Amends

Morgan claimed he wanted to make amends after his “drunken racial slur” three years ago. He said he did that by making substantial financial donations to significant African American organizations.

But Rolling Stone published a shocking report in September 2021 alleging that it was “unclear if Wallen actually donated” anything. They accused Morgan of breaking his vow and that the money Morgan was supposed to have donated “seems largely M.I.A.”

USA Today reporter Melissa Ruggieri investigated Rolling Stone’s allegations. On September 22, 2021, she confirmed that Morgan had completed “his $500K pledge to Black groups” with a final $100,000 donation to the “National Museum of African American Music” in Nashville.

Melissa spoke with Seth England, who is Morgan’s manager. She also confirmed “through written records” that Morgan had, in fact, “distributed the funds as promised.”

USA Today also spoke to Tuwisha Rogers-Simpson, VP of brand and partnerships at the National Museum of African American Music. She told them that the museum had received Morgan’s donation on behalf of his foundation.

Tuwisha apparently had the chance to meet Morgan, and she had nothing but good things to say about him. She told USA Today that Morgan had toured the museum with her. She was able to “share our mission with Morgan as he was eager to learn more in a sincere effort to grow.”

Morgan Recently Apologized for His Behavior

But has Morgan really grown enough? He has had plenty of “second chances,” especially when it comes to over-drinking and pulling crazy stunts.

The Tennessean reported another time that Morgan was arrested on Broadway. Several years ago, Morgan was charged with “public intoxication and disorderly conduct” after he began “kicking glass items” in Kid Rock’s honky tonk and then “verbally fighting with passerby” when he got kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar.

Morgan did offer an apology for the chair-throwing incident on social media last month. He wrote on X, “I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”

Morgan also claimed that he didn’t “feel right” with making a public confession until he “made amends with some folks.” He said he’d “touched base with Nashville law enforcement,” his family, “and the good people at Chief’s.”

But was Morgan trying to get off the hook for the chair-throwing incident? On May 2nd, People.com reported that Morgan would not be in court “for the hearing on his April arrest,” although People claimed to “know why.”

Morgan’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, stated that the court had “formally waived” Morgan’s appearance on May 3rd and that Worrick could attend on Morgan’s behalf. On August 15th, Morgan will appear in a Nashville courtroom to face his most recent charges.

What Happened to Omarion From B2K

Omarion made it big at a young age when B2K burst onto the R&B music scene back in the early 2000s.

The group had some success between 2001 and 2004 but eventually disbanded.

Omarion’s Solo Career

Omarion’s solo career then skyrocketed when he released his debut album ‘O’ the following year.

It went to number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and even earned him a Grammy nomination.

His second album also did well and earned him his highest charting single to date, Ice Box.

But his follow-up albums reportedly failed to generate the same kind of commercial success that his first two albums did.

And Omarion faded from the spotlight a little.

Omarion’s Skills as a Dancer

But he recently attracted some media attention again.

This was in late 2023, when Omarion’s skills as a dancer were questioned after a video of him dancing went viral.

A report by Madame Noire revealed that Omarion posted a video of himself freestyling as he performed at Mihran K. NoHo in Los Angeles.

He could be seen jumping, skirting, and spinning on the dance floor.

His dance moves divided social media critics, with some praising him and others tearing him down.

One of his followers labeled him the King of Dance, and another said that he exuded freedom through his dance.

But when The Shade Room reposted the video, it got a totally different reaction from users in the comments section.

Someone wrote that when they were younger, they used to think that Omarion ate the dancing up.

And maturing was realizing that he was just doing random moves.

Another added: “Omarion was the biggest lie of my childhood…. He can’t sing or dance.”

In 2021, Omarion reportedly faced similar criticisms after another video of him dancing went viral, and it even started a trend of copying the dance sequence he did in it.

Omarion Launched a Book

Omarion released a book about his personal experiences in 2022 called Unbothered: The Power of Choosing Joy.

According to VIBE, the book was intended to help people and was divided into three different sections- Spirituality, Physical Wellness, and Mental Health.

It reportedly included advice on things that he himself practiced in his life, like meditation and yoga.

After having spent more than 20 years in the limelight, he also opened up about some of the biggest challenges he’d had in the business.

Omarion Speaks Out About Parenthood

And while speaking about the book with Ebony, Omarion talked about his life as a father and how that’d changed him.

He told the outlet that when he became a parent, there was no manuscript.

Omarion shares his son, Megaa, and daughter, A’mei, with his ex, reality TV star Apryl Jones.

The couple dated for a couple of years and later broke up in 2016.

They’re currently co-parenting, but a report by Atlanta Black Star revealed that they’ve had a rocky personal relationship since their split.

Omarion Started Exploring Polyamory

In a tell-all interview on The Jason Lee Show, Omarion opened up about his more recent dating life.

VIBE covered the interview and reported that the singer talked about how he didn’t feel like conventional relationships were for him and how he’d started exploring polyamory.

He said that being able to have people that he could openly communicate with about how he felt and what it was that he wanted to do was a beautiful thing.

When talking about what it was like to be with more than one partner at a time, he shared that he had to be double the man, so it was work.

And it was not fun all of the time.

Omarion’s Relationship With His Ex-Bandmates

Further on in the interview, Omarion also spoke to Jason about his relationship with his ex-bandmates.

Although the group broke up 20 years ago, they kept in touch over the years, but there’s reportedly been some friction along the way.

After so many requests from their fans, the members of B2K finally found an opportunity to reunite.

PEOPLE reported that it happened on the award-winning Millenium Tour, back in 2021.

It was also on that tour that one of the singers chose to address a personal issue that’d been going on between him and another band member.

In 2019, Lil Fizz started dating Omarion’s ex Apryl, which the outlet claimed was why the two men had had a falling out.

But when the pair were on stage together in L.A., Lil Fizz brought up the personal drama between them when he made a public apology.

He explained that he didn’t think it would be right if he didn’t take a moment to publicly apologize to Omarion.

He said that he did some messed up stuff to his brother, and he wasn’t proud of it.

He then added that he was sorry for any turmoil or dysfunction that he caused between Omarion and his family.

In his interview on The Jason Lee show two years later, Omarion spoke about how it felt for him to reunite with B2K after what’d happened between Lil Fizz and Apryl.

He claimed that it was one of the toughest things he’d ever had to do in his life, and that he had to ask himself some really important questions.

When it came to Lil Fizz, he said that he’d forgiven him for himself, as well as for their B2K fans.

Omarion’s Ex and Baby Momma, Apryl, Said Omarion Treated Her Like Dirt

Not long after the interview, Apryl took to her social media to get some things off her chest.

According to Atlanta Black Star, she ranted in a live video about how she wanted the chance to give her personal account.

She asked for Jason Lee to interview her, and to give it a fair shot because it hadn’t been fair to her to hear her name repeatedly, when she wasn’t able to tell her side.

She explained that she’d been quiet, and she’d been taking care of her kids.

She also claimed that Omarion had treated her like dirt and that she wouldn’t cover for him anymore.

Omarion Said Ex-Bandmates Were ‘… Praying for My Downfall’

Things between Omarion and his former bandmates have allegedly gone south in recent years, too.

Complex reported that after he was up against Mario in a Verzuz Battle in 2022, the other three B2K members reportedly mocked him online for not performing as well as his opponent.

Omarion then used his Instagram to share a post in which he claimed that he’d had a lot more success than the others.

And then he threw shade at them by writing: “To my 3 background dancers, I’m not surprised because this is how y’all always been, even while in the group. Praying for my downfall.”

Then he told them that they should just keep praying because he was booked and busy.

And he added that they should get a job and that UPS was hiring.

His former bandmate Raz-B responded by sharing a legal document on Instagram which revealed that Omarion was officially no longer a member of B2K.

In late 2023, Hot New Hip Hop reported that B2K had seemingly reunited and were preparing for another reunion, but this time without Omarion.

Omarion’s Achievements

Even though he hasn’t had the same kind of success with his music career that he had in his youth, Omarion has still had some big achievements over the last decade.

He had a musical comeback in 2015 when his song Post To Be featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko climbed up the charts and did well commercially, too.

Billboard reported that it helped him return to No. 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-hop chart after almost a decade off of it.

He also gained some recognition for the Millennium Tour that he headlined in 2021.

He and Bow Wow won the Top Rap Tour award for it at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

It was around that time that he also made an appearance on season 5 of The Masked Singer and finished in 4th place.

Omarion is still releasing music to this day.

His last album, Full Circle: Sonic Book Two, came out in 2023.

In March 2024, Rated R&B reported that he had two singles from the album debuting on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

While talking to the outlet about his latest single, Taking Off, he described it as one of those classic R&B lovemaking songs.

According to the report, Omarion was supposed to start his Vbz on Vbz Tour in April 2024.

But a few weeks later, Rated R&B announced that the tour had been canceled, although the reason for the cancellation hasn’t been shared.

The upcoming shows on Ticketmaster were just listed as canceled, and the tour dates on Omarion’s official website weren’t available.

Usher has known the disgraced music mogul Diddy since he was a teenager.

The story behind their meeting in light of the recent accusations is pretty horrifying.

Usher was actually sent to live with Diddy as a teen by his mother as he pursued a career in music.

Usher Recounts Experience Living With Diddy

On Club Shay Shay, Usher talked about his experience living in Diddy’s so-called Flavor Camp.

During the podcast, Usher only had good things to say about what he learned from Diddy during that time.

However, the truth is a lot more disturbing.

There is a leaked interview clip from around eight years ago in which Usher shared a lot more detail about his experience.

During an appearance on the Howard Stern Show, the singer described his time in the Flavor Camp as “wild”.

He went on to say that while living with Diddy, he got the chance to see a lot of things, which he said were pretty crazy.

He also claimed that Diddy and everyone around him called Usher Baby Boo, and said that Diddy allowed him to be a young man.

He didn’t go into much more detail, but the language around the story was pretty suggestive about what Diddy exposed the young Usher to.

It was made pretty clear later in the conversation what Usher meant, as he was asked if he would send his own kids to Flavor Camp.

When asked, he replied “hell no.”

His answer was pretty telling about how suitable Diddy’s lifestyle was for children.

Diddy’s Alleged Physical Relationship With Usher

The clip re-emerged after some shocking allegations about the nature of the two men’s relationship were made in a lawsuit filed by Rodney Jones.

Without mentioning Usher’s name, it was clearly alleged that Diddy had pursued a physical relationship with the teenager.

When the clip resurfaced, many fans had a lot to say online.

One commenter blamed Usher’s parents, questioning why they would let him stay with Diddy at just 13 years old.

Another showed a lot of sympathy for Usher himself.

They wrote that they felt like the singer has trauma that he will never speak on.

The disturbing stories about Diddy’s alleged past behavior have continued to flood in.

Recently, something crazy came out about his relationship with Usher.

Diddy’s Former Bodyguard Exposed Diddy’s True Nature

In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, some shocking claims were made about Diddy’s history with Usher.

The claims were made by someone who was extremely close to both men for a long time.

Gene Deal, Diddy’s former bodyguard, has long been known as one of the few who has come out to expose Diddy’s true nature.

But in his most recent interview, he revealed details that had not drawn a lot of attention in the past.

And what Gene accused Diddy of doing was crazy.

He claimed that his former boss had groomed Usher from a young age.

This came out on The Art of Dialogue a short time after Usher made an appearance on the Shannon Sharpe podcast.

Gene made it clear that he was pretty shocked to hear Usher give so much praise to Diddy for helping him in his career.

Gene said in his own interview that he and several others knew the truth about what happened between Usher and Diddy.

And what he said was really shocking.

Gene Deal Speaks About Diddy and Usher’s ‘Situation’

Gene said that the pair had what he called a “situation”.

And he went on to claim that the situation eventually put Usher in the hospital.

However, he refused to provide more details, maintaining that it was Usher’s story to tell.

But he still went on to express how outraged he was that Usher was willing to give props to Diddy after everything Gene knew about his past with Usher.

Gene basically claimed that Diddy was a dangerous presence in Usher’s life, and he was shocked that Usher was happy to give him a pass all these years later.

However, Gene has had no problem describing some of the things he claims to have witnessed.

In the Art of Dialogue interview, Gene recounted a story about an incident in the Swissotel.

He said that Usher had been exposed to extremely adult activities in the hotel.

Gene then repeated that he felt that Usher was sticking up for someone who had done him wrong when he was young.

At this time, everything Gene and others have claimed about Usher and Diddy are just allegations.

But a lot of people who have heard the allegations have been both outraged about Diddy’s supposed actions as well as heartbroken for Usher.

This is far from the first time that Gene has been an extremely vocal critic of Diddy.

In fact, he was making claims about the producer long before recent developments have brought his reputation crashing down.

Gene Disgusted With Diddy’s Intentions for Danity Kane

Another interview clip has reappeared on social media of Gene talking about his former employer’s awful behavior.

In the clip, Gene made some shocking allegations about Diddy’s intentions with his girl group Danity Kane.

And what he claimed his former employer said was just sinister.

And it even made Gene himself walk away in disgust.

Gene claimed that Diddy told a large group of friends and colleagues in the studio what his plans for the group really were.

The Bad Boy Records owner was alleged to have said that he was going to get the singers hooked on substances.

And then allow his associates to exploit the young women to make money for Diddy.

Gene went on to say that he confronted Diddy about it.

He claimed that he responded to the evil confession by saying that the singers were all somebody’s kids, before walking out of the room.

In the same clip, Gene revealed some more information about Diddy’s relationship with Danity Kane.

Some of Diddy’s Artists Refused to Sign NDAs

He believed that some of the group members were among the few artists Diddy signed who refused to sign NDAs.

Gene said that it was extremely common for everyone working with major stars to have to sign non-disclosure agreements.

And this was what allowed Diddy and others to act however they wanted.

According to Gene, Diddy even agreed to give artists their publishing rights in exchange for their silence about scandals he was getting caught up in.

However, not everyone agreed to the deal.

Which meant that they were able to talk about anything they wanted to.

And Gene was pretty sure that at least a couple of members of Danity Kane never signed an NDA.

Which must have made Diddy feel threatened.

When the clip resurfaced recently, it was flooded with comments from people who were sickened by what they’d heard.

One person wrote that they had to “thank god” that Gene himself had never signed an NDA.

And that the bodyguard had been exposing Diddy for years, but only now were people realizing the truth in what he said.

Another wrote that Gene had to be protected at all costs.

Stars Expose Diddy

A third commenter dropped the name of one of the old members of Danity Kane, who apparently also has been telling the truth about Diddy for a long time.

That name was Aubrey O’Day.

A couple of months ago, the singer came out in support after Cassie dropped her bombshell accusations about Diddy.

Cassie made the headlines with her terrifying account of the harm she suffered at Diddy’s hands for over a decade in her civil lawsuit.

Although she and Diddy quickly reached a settlement, the news of what she had experienced did not go away.

A short time later, Aubrey got herself involved in this with a supportive message on Instagram.

She wrote that she had been trying to tell all of us for YEARS.

And like Aubrey, Gene has been working to expose Diddy for much longer than people realize.

One online commenter claimed that Gene has been talking about Diddy honestly for a long time.

But suggested that people could only take him seriously now that Cassie’s lawsuit has become public knowledge.

Many also had the same unsettling thought.

If this was what Gene and others were willing to share freely, just imagine what might still be getting held back.

But the idea that Usher himself is not willing to tell the truth about his own experiences with Diddy adds an extra element of tragedy to the whole awful story.

The Dark Side of Soulja Boy

Soulja Boy came out of nowhere in 2007 with his insanely successful single Crank That.

The song stayed at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks in a row.

His debut album peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 200.

Then his second album spawned another hit song, Kiss Me Thru the Phone, but it was met with slightly worse commercial and critical reception.

And his third album reportedly failed to generate the same kind of success as the first two.

Soulja Boy Allegedly Physically Harmed His Ex, Kayla

Since then, Soulja Boy has mostly been in the spotlight because of his many run-ins with the law and his extremely public feuds with other celebrities.

He has allegedly done quite a lot of seriously dark things in his personal life.

In 2019, TMZ reported that Soulja Boy was being sued by his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Myers, who claimed that he did some truly traumatizing things to her.

She said that while leaving his home after a party in early 2019, she got into a fight with his female personal assistant after her car went off the driveway as she was backing out of it.

The lawsuit claimed that Soulja Boy then came outside to find the two women arguing, and he started cussing his ex out.

He allegedly then began to physically harm her and ordered his assistant to tie her up and keep her in his garage.

Kayla claimed that she was finally allowed to leave 7 hours later at 8 a.m. after going through other embarrassing and hurtful incidents.

She said that she ended up with 3 fractured ribs and a bruised face.

After reporting what’d happened to the police, they raided Soulja Boy’s house and found weapons there.

Soulja Boy’s Crimes

According to Revolt, the discovery meant that he was eventually arrested because he’d been on probation for another crime around that time.

Having weapons in his home meant that he’d violated the probation, and on top of that, he’d reportedly failed to complete his court-ordered community service.

The outlet added that he’d also conspired to falsify evidence to look like he had done it.

He was sentenced to 240 days in jail and was reinstated with 265 days of community service.

His lawyer said that his client was thankful that his sentence wasn’t even longer in the end.

Soulja Boy Said ‘… It’s a Minor Setback for a Major Comeback’

Soulja Boy didn’t want the world to forget about him while he was behind bars, though.

Revolt later reported that Miami Mike shared a clip on Instagram that he’d gotten from a conversation with Soulja Boy while he was incarcerated.

In the audio, Soulja Boy could be heard saying: “I’m going on tour. Like I said, the biggest comeback of 2019, Jail? Come on, man. You know I do this… I love all my fans, it ain’t over. It’s a minor setback for a major comeback”

After his release, Soulja Boy didn’t get the comeback that he’d hoped for.

Soulja Boy Struggled to Pay His Ex $472,000

Years later, the judge on the case that Kayla had brought against her ex gave a verdict.

According to court documents that XXL Mag obtained, Soulja Boy was ordered to pay her over $235,000 for mental health expenses, and for physical and mental pain and suffering.

Kayla was also awarded $236,000 in punitive damages.

In July 2023, XXL Mag revealed that Soulja Boy was allegedly struggling to pay his ex the $472,000 that he owed her.

A judge denied his motion to try and get the costly judgment thrown out.

Soulja Boy said that he didn’t have much money in the bank and that he had a $1 million tax lien.

The judge reportedly suggested that someone as close to zero as Soulja Boy claimed to be should scale down his living arrangements.

He was reportedly paying $25,000 a month on his rent for his L.A. home.

Soulja Boy Caused Ex, Nia, to Lose Baby

Kayla also wasn’t the only woman with horrible allegations against the rapper.

A report by USA Today revealed that another of his ex-girlfriends also filed a lawsuit against him in 2021.

Nia Riley was looking for $5 million for pain and suffering and an additional $5 million for emotional distress.

Her lawyer claimed that it took her years to escape the psychological and physical grasp of the man who’d allegedly harmed her.

According to the lawsuit, Soulja Boy once even hurt her so badly that she ended up losing the baby that she was carrying at the time.

A report in 2024 by The Source revealed that he was fighting a default judgment which ordered him to pay $10 million.

The judgment was the result of Soulja Boy not turning up for his court date, which he claimed happened because he wasn’t aware of the updates in the lawsuit as he was too busy touring.

USA Today also revealed that Soulja Boy faced another lawsuit in 2021 when his former personal assistant alleged that he’d been harmful to her in a number of different ways.

Soulja Boy and Chris Brown’s Feud

Since his rise to fame, Soulja Boy has gotten a reputation for frequently getting into public feuds with other entertainers in the industry.

There are hundreds of headlines about him getting into fights with many of the biggest names in the world of rap.

One of his most infamous feuds was with Chris Brown in 2017.

Billboard was one of the many outlets at the time to cover the story, and their beef allegedly began when Soulja Boy started accusing Chris online of threatening him.

He claimed that it was because he’d liked a photo of Chris’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Soulja Boy reportedly made fun of Chris’s skills as a father and mocked him for his 2009 scandal with Rihanna.

He also accused him of using an illegal substance.

When Chris found out about the allegations against him, he actually challenged Soulja Boy to a fight in the boxing ring.

Their feud even managed to draw other celebrities in.

Soulja Boy asked Floyd Mayweather to be his trainer for the battle, and Chris even got Mike Tyson to help him get ready for the match and to teach him every dirty trick in the book.

The two rappers never made it to the boxing ring, though.

Revolt reported that Soulja Boy eventually shared a video on Twitter where he said sorry for his behavior.

He said that he just wanted to give an apology, and he explained that he’d been acting out, and that it was not about who started the beefs, it was about who handled them.

He then went on to reveal that he found out his mom had been in the hospital.

He said that he loved her and he knew she hadn’t been proud of his actions and what he’d been doing.

He also added that he wanted to make music with Chris, and with other artists that he’d been arguing with at the time, like Quavo and Lil Yachty.

Was Soulja Boy Responsible for Young Dolph’s Death?

But that wasn’t the last time that Soulja Boy publicly fought with someone.

And one of his fights ended up having some super serious consequences.

The Sun revealed that in late 2021, he was laying into fellow rapper Young Dolph during an Instagram live session.

When one of his followers brought up his rival’s name, Soulja Boy reportedly said that he would put a $100,000 bounty on his head.

The next week, Dolph’s life was taken from him while on a trip to Tennessee.

After new surveillance footage that allegedly showed the suspects involved in Dolph’s case came out, Soulja Boy was taken out of the Millenium Tour he was supposed to be in.

In the end, no charges were brought against Soulja Boy in connection to the case, and he was never even named as a suspect.

Soulja Boy’s Heated Beef With Metro Boomin

More recently, Soulja Boy began feuding with music producer Metro Boomin, according to a report by Hot New Hip Hop.

After one of his old Twitter posts resurfaced in which he threw some shade at the rapper, Soulja Boy came back at Metro by bringing up his deceased mom on Mother’s Day 2024.

He tweeted to Metro: “You sacrificed your own mom… you a puppet”

And he added: “All the streams, sales, money, and fame not gone bring your mom back… was it worth it?”

Soulja Boy Offered to Buy TikTok

Soulja Boy has been making some pretty out-there statements in general this year.

Complex reported that he offered to buy the app TikTok in April 2024, even though he previously claimed to not be able to afford the thousands of dollars he owed his ex in 2023.

President Biden had just signed a package that could possibly lead to the app being banned in the U.S. unless it was sold to an American company.

So Soulja Boy posted on Twitter saying that he couldn’t believe people were going to let TikTok get banned, and then he asked how much the app’s CEO wanted for it, and offered to buy it.

The 51-year-old was the first woman Diddy was romantically involved with as a public figure, and the pair even had a son together, Justin Combs.

She recently shared her opinion on the most recent addition to the list of scandals Diddy is involved in on social media.

Misa posted a photo of all 5 of Diddy’s kids, including Justin, along with a caption in which she seemed to show some empathy for Diddy’s situation.

She wrote that Diddy “needs help,” and that she is now praying that he “does the work and receives it.”

However, she was also honest about the horrific way Cassie was treated by their shared ex.

Even former employees of Diddy have come out to expose him since the release of the security footage.

His old assistant, Suzi Seigel, shared her experience of watching the clip.

The Daily Mirror reported that she said she felt “sick and violently angry” after watching Diddy attack Cassie in the hotel corridor.

However, she also added that there was “not one cell in my body that was surprised.”

Suzi worked as Diddy’s assistant for one year between 2008 and 2009.

She stated that while working for him, she “didn’t see anything that could get him in trouble.”
