The details surrounding their alleged reconciliation are absolutely insane, so let’s break them down.
A couple of weeks ago, rumors started circling on X, formerly known as Twitter, that suggested Ariana and Ethan’s relationship had suddenly come to an end.
In a post made by a since-deleted celebrity news account, @Popmvsics, the caption revealed that TMZ had reported that Ariana had decided to split from Ethan.
According to the website PopCulture, a note had been added to the post by X in an attempt to set the record straight.
It turns out that there hadn’t actually been a breakup report made by TMZ about the couple at all.

But before the @Popmvsics profile was deleted, the person running the account attempted to clear the air.
In a comment replying to their original post, they claimed that they had only been joking around when they made the announcement about Ariana and Ethan’s fake breakup.
But even though Ethan and Ariana are seemingly still in a relationship right now, that doesn’t mean their romance is on solid ground.
At the end of March, a blind item was sent to Deuxmoi, who shared the anonymous update to their Instagram Story.
What the mysterious submission revealed about Ariana and Big Sean was seriously bizarre.
Did Big Sean Call it Quits With Jhené Aiko?
The blind item, which was recently posted in the Fauxmoi subreddit, is allegedly about Big Sean calling it quits with his longtime girlfriend and baby mama, Jhené Aiko.

He had supposedly told her that he wanted to split up so that he could work on himself, which was a huge lie.
It turns out that the real reason behind their breakup is reportedly much more scandalous.
Whoever submitted the blind item claimed that Big Sean actually broke up with Jhené because he’s been trying to rekindle his romance with Ariana.
The anonymous source added that even though Ariana is dating Ethan, she and Big Sean have been talking to each other pretty often lately.
But that’s not even the craziest part.
The author behind the blind item also revealed that Ariana and Big Sean have been acting “very friendly with each other.”
Jhené Threw Shade at Ariana
But their renewed ‘friendship’ has allegedly caused tension with Jhené, who recently threw shade at Ariana in a truly unbelievable way.
According to HotNewHipHop, Jhené reposted a message to her Instagram Story on March 8th that read: “Careful! We quickly get used to most things and easily forget how amazing they are.”
But she also added her 2014 song, “Eternal Sunshine” to the post, which many people believed wasn’t just a coincidence.
That same day, Ariana released her new album, Eternal Sunshine.
A lot of social media users thought that Jhené had tried to take a dig at Ariana by reminding everyone that she had used the title for her track 10 years earlier.
But that wasn’t the only shady thing about her post.

Some people also felt like the message that Jhené had reposted to her Story was her way of hinting that her romance with Big Sean was either over or in serious trouble.

According to The Jasmine Brand, many people had been pointing out on social media that Jhené and Big Sean were no longer following each other.
Jhené had also been sharing several cryptic quotes to her Instagram Story that strongly suggested she and Big Sean had broken up on bad terms.
Page Six reported that one of the quotes Jhené had reposted read: “Get you a partner that doesn’t mind hurting people’s feelings when it comes to you.”
Another stated: “The guy who has you explaining the meaning of empathy is not your soulmate.”
It definitely seemed like she was done with Big Sean, so what happened next was pretty unexpected.

The source added that even after the pair broke up in 2015, Big Sean allegedly never stopped caring about Ariana.
But what they revealed next was honestly unbelievable.
The insider also mentioned that even though the exes were supposedly just friends at the time, Big Sean would love the chance to rekindle his romance with Ariana.
And based on a not-so-subtle hint that she’d dropped a few months earlier, she seemed open to reconciling with him as well.
Ariana’s Music Video Reveals Lingering Feelings for Big Sean
In the music video for Ariana’s song, “thank u, next,” one scene in particular revealed a massive clue that she had lingering feelings for Big Sean.
During the part of the song where she mentions him, a photo of the two of them is shown clearly on a page of the book she’s holding.
But what had been added next to the picture was insanely telling.

Around the photo of Ariana and Big Sean were hearts, but underneath it, she had written: “So cute, so sweet. (Can still get it.)”
Not only had she seemingly admitted that she was still interested in him, but she apparently wanted the entire world to know it.
Interestingly, Big Sean and Jhené’s quiet breakup happened only a couple of weeks after the music video for “thank u, next” was released.
However, it’s hard to know whether or not Ariana was a factor in the couple’s 2018 split.
But according to the recent blind item, Big Sean has reportedly ended things with Jhené for the sole purpose of trying to reconcile with Ariana.
And considering how notoriously messy both Big Sean and Ariana are when it comes to each of their relationship histories, they probably aren’t going to waste much time moving forward.
It honestly wouldn’t be a huge shock if Ariana actually does try to rekindle things with Big Sean in the near future.
