Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons Relationship

Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons have been an item for over a year now. The beginnings of their relationship were the subject of a lot of media attention. 

Last November, Hot News Hip Hop took a look back at the unorthodox approach the rapper took to catching Angela’s attention. The first hint at a potential romance between the pair came back in 2015. When Yo Gotti released his track Down in the DM, he publicly declared his affection for Rev Run’s daughter.

He rapped the lyrics: “And I just followed Angela. Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons.” This honest statement of interest received plenty of attention, but Angela was not interested in responding to Yo Gotti’s rap. It would be years before the two of them became a couple.

In the intervening years, Angela would experience tragedy after the loss of her one-time fiance, Sutton Tennyson, with whom she shared a son, in 2018. It would be another five years before Yo Gotti and Angela’s names were linked again. 

Yo Gotti rapped about her again on the song Save It For Me. And last year, he finally took his chance with her. 

Angela and Yo Gotti decided to start the year 2023 with the announcement that they were in a relationship. They both took to Instagram to share pictures of each other along with captions declaring what Hot News Hip Hop described as “a declaration of love and mutual admiration.”

Angela shared a series of shots from an elegant photoshoot with Yo Gotti. In the caption, she wrote: “You are all I need and more”, followed by a love heart emoji. She later posted another photo from inside a luxury car, showing her being poured a glass of champagne by her new partner.  

Yo Gotti Shares His Extravagant Gifts on Social Media

Since going official on social media, the couple have continued to share public displays of their feelings for each other. 

For her 36th birthday, Yo Gotti reportedly arranged a collection of expensive and stylish gifts for his partner. These included bouquets of flowers, black Chanel boxes, and white candles. The scene also included tribal dancers and a saxophone player performing on a beach. 

The footage, shared on Instagram, showed Angela getting emotional as Yo Gotti revealed what he’d done for her. Angela then took to Instagram herself, writing in her Stories that she had been touched by the gesture and calling Yo Gotti her “best gift.”

A few months later, Yo Gotti used his music again to celebrate his relationship with Angela. People magazine reported that the video for his new song, The One, showcased moments from the couple’s new life together.

The 42-year-old rapped about his girlfriend in the “PDA-filled music video” starring both the rapper and Angela. The video was filmed during a trip to Greece and Dubai, and it featured clips of the couple kissing and driving around in a Rolls Royce.  

Yo Gotti’s lyrics matched the video rapping, “You give me butterflies in your stomach, like we still in middle school.” Yo Gotti even admitted on the track that he got “nervous vibes” when he missed Angela. Angela went on to appear in another of his videos, No Fake Love, which again mused on the pair’s loving relationship.

After getting so spoiled for her own birthday, Angela decided to treat her partner. Hot News Hip Hop reported that she gifted Yo Gotti a Tesla for his birthday. 

Rumors Spread That Yo Gotti Was Seeing Someone Else

Although the couple show nothing but generosity and affection for each other online, their relationship also came into question following some rumors. Distractify reported in October of last year that a gossip site had alleged that Yo Gotti had started seeing someone else. The outlet then reported that neither Angela nor Yo Gotti had responded to the rumors that their relationship was over.

However, it had been reported elsewhere that the couple were facing other problems. Allegedly, Yo Gotti “distanced himself” from Angela after TMZ reported she was carrying a $48,000 debt related to overdue rent. 

TMZ claimed that Angela had left her penthouse apartment in New Jersey without paying her dues. In court documents obtained by the media outlet, a judge ordered Angela to pay over 48 thousand dollars for alleged late fees for not paying her rent in late 2020.

Despite all the challenges the couple has reportedly faced in the last year, they now seem to be doing fine. Recently, they have been seen attending a Memphis Grizzlies game and the Grammy Awards ceremony together. Over Christmas, People reported that Yo Gotti had gifted Angela rare Hermes Birkin bags worth around $400,000. 

So, money doesn’t seem to be an issue for the couple.

What’s Going On with Snoop Dogg’s Daughter

Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus recently suffered a horrible health scare. In January of this year, it was reported that she experienced a “severe stroke” and had to be hospitalized for several days. 

People reported on Cori’s reaction as she left the hospital to return home. She wrote on her Instagram Stories: “I can prolly cry,” before thanking everyone who had offered her their “continuous prayers, love etc.”

Cori had previously revealed the scary news in a post on her Instagram Stories. She wrote, “I had a severe stroke this a.m. I started breaking down crying when they told me.”

Later that month, Snoop Dogg told People that his daughter was “doing a little bit better” after her stay in hospital. He shared this update in a conversation with People during the premiere of his comedy movie The Underdoggs in Los Angeles, a week after the terrible incident took place.

Snoop Dogg was then asked if what happened to Cori gave him a new perspective on life. He said: “Yeah, yeah. Something like that.”

On January 22, Cori herself talked about how she was doing. The 24-year-old shared a picture of herself giving a thumbs-up. In the caption, she wrote: “God is working overtime, you hear me! My kidneys were doing terrible… doctors came in this AM and said they are improving so much.”

The next day, she wrote about going through so much like everyone else. She added that this is why she is so open about her life because she knows that she feels alone. But she also knows that we are never alone because someone somewhere is always going through the same thing.

These posts came shortly before she was discharged from the hospital. 

Cori Was Diagnosed with Lupus as a Child

But Cori had learned to deal with her health issues long before her most recent incident. Her challenges were first discovered at a young age after she was diagnosed with lupus at the age of six. This autoimmune disease causes Cori’s immune system to mistake healthy parts of her body for threats like bacteria and viruses. 

Last year, Cori shared her experience with lupus in an interview with People. She revealed at the time that she was better than she’d ever been and had stopped taking her medication about five months ago.

Instead, she had decided to take an all-natural approach. She said: “I’m just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas. I started working out, drinking lots of water.” Cori also claimed that her body had responded well to her change in lifestyle, saying, “So now I think my body’s like, OK, this is the new program, and she’s getting used to it.”

However, she also noted in the interview that there was more she could be doing for her wellbeing. She mentioned that she was still “eating terribly” and “not getting the proper rest.” 

Cori mused, “If I can do a whole 360 change and just get healthy all around, U think I would be so good.” She concluded, “But I tell people all the time, it’s a day-by-day process. Things are going to take time. Nothing is going to happen overnight.”

Cori’s Engagement Faced Backlash

Despite all the difficulties she has to face, Cori has also stayed focused on realizing her many ambitions. Like her siblings, Corde and Cordell, she has chosen to walk the same path their dad did by entering the music business. She also started a beauty company called Choc Factory with her fiance, Wayne Deuce. 

The couple got engaged in November 2022 but quickly faced some unpleasant backlash. Cori explained that she was met with a barrage of negative comments on her Instagram engagement post.

The post contained a photo of her smiling and holding out her hand to show off her new engagement ring. In the caption, she wrote that she was “a fiance.”

The post quickly gained over 160,000 likes, and most people who saw it seemed to be delighted for Cori. However, not all the comments were so positive. Some commenters thought it would be funny to make fun of her appearance.

VIBE reported that in an interview on Karamo, Cori opened up about feeling sad when reading the hurtful comments. She said it was because it was supposed to be “a happy moment” and “something she wanted to share with the world.” However, Cori had also been prepared for some negativity around her announcement. 

She explained, “I actually waited a day because I knew, just being in the public eye, people are gonna say things.” Cori added that there was “always gonna be somebody with something negative to say.”

Hopefully, now that her health is improving, Cori will only be paying attention to positive news in the future.

Toby Keith’s Daughter Speaks Out

Before he passed away, Toby Keith had three grown-up children with his wife, Tricia. He shared a special bond with his middle child, Krystal Keith. On the Friday after Toby’s passing, Krystal spoke out from her heart on social media, as reported by The Oklahoman.

She posted an emotional tribute on Instagram and described Toby as her “hero.” Touchingly, Krystal wrote she felt “so lucky” to have had him and “so grateful” that Toby got to walk her down the aisle and meet her babies—two of his granddaughters.

Krystal loved to sing country music as her dad did. She has even released music on the record label that Toby co-owned in Nashville. She recalled “years of memories traveling the world as a family” and how blessed she was to sing on stage with Toby on the road.

Krystal Released a Tribute to Toby on Social Media

Her social media tribute revealed how lucky Krystal felt to have a chance to say goodbye to her father and tell Toby what he meant to her. She also revealed that she has many videos of her father to remember him by. Krystal hopes that someday, she will enjoy watching those videos again.

Krystal wrote that the “amount of people and networks” honoring her dad “is a reminder that he wasn’t just ours. He was the world’s.” Krystal described Toby as “a gift that we were, as a family, able to offer the world, and he did not squander our sacrifice of time with him.”

She also provided some insight into Toby’s private side, writing that he did so much good for other people but didn’t look for any recognition for his kind deeds.

Krystal mentioned Toby’s strong faith in God, writing that he lived with Jesus so he could go on with Jesus. She called that the cherry on top of the life he lived. Krystal said she will honor her father forever.

Her social media post described how Toby’s passing has affected her physically. Krystal wrote, “The pain is so unbelievably deep and it feels like I have a literal broken heart,” although she admitted, “It wouldn’t hurt so bad if we didn’t love him and get to be loved” deeply by him.

Krystal’s words revealed that she never doubted her father’s love. She wrote, “He never made me wonder if he would be there for me.”

The Covel Family Will Have a Private Ceremony

On February 10th, The Oklahoman reported on a private funeral service being planned by Toby’s immediate family. The article mentions that a public memorial service should be announced soon.

The family announced the private service on Toby’s social media account, and The Oklahoman confirmed their message through Toby’s publicist. The message said, “The Covel Family is hosting a private funeral service for family, band, and crew only in mid-February. A memorial service to honor Toby will be announced only on Toby’s socials shortly.”

Covel is Toby’s real last name. His immediate family includes Tricia and his three children, five grandchildren, a son-in-law, and a daughter-in-law. 

Toby’s oldest daughter is Shelley who has a daughter named Presley and two boys named Sladen and Sawyer. Krystal married Andrew Sandubrae and has two daughters, Hensley and Kirby. Toby’s son, Stelen, recently married his wife, Haley.

Toby is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Joan Covel, his sister, Tonni Karan Covel-Moore, and his brother, Tracey Covel.

The private service announcement on social media also states that Toby’s family would prefer donations to the Toby Keith Foundation in his memory instead of flowers. Toby and Tricia started the Toby Keith Foundation to benefit children with cancer and their families in Oklahoma, and the family specifically requested donations to support the OK Kids Korral.

The Oklahoman reported that the OK Kids Korral, built by the Toby Keith Foundation, opened in 2013 and cost $9 million. The OK Kids Korral is a no-cost, “home-away-from-home” for families and children undergoing cancer treatment at the OU Medical Center. 

Jenelle Evans Financial Crisis

Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason are reportedly facing financial struggles. In Touch Weekly reported that the couple is dealing with two court cases and their legal fees keep getting higher. On top of that, they also allegedly have a $46,000 state tax bill, which was originally filed in 2020.

An insider who spoke with The U.S Sun claimed that Jenelle and David’s legal fees were quickly piling up. The couple had been left in a financial crisis. They added that there was no discernable steady income coming into the house beyond the clickbait Jenelle did, and her OnlyFans account, which she’d kept up with sporadically at best.

The Sun’s source blamed the couple’s monetary problems on them being bad with money. The source also said that they’d order take-out all the time to feed four or five mouths. This was especially true when Maryssa, Jenelle’s teenage daughter, was home.

They’d also allegedly go on pricey trips with, and without, the kids. The insider went on to claim that the pair also sank money on their always-breaking, expensive toys, like the boat and their ATV.

Jenelle Lost Custody of Her Oldest Son, Jace

One of their legal battles is a custody case against Child Protective Services for Jenelle’s son, Jace Evans. In Touch previously reported that the 14-year-old had been reported as missing 3 times within two months last year.

After his 3rd attempt to run away, the news outlet exclusively revealed that he was checked into a hospital where he underwent a mental health evaluation. It was at this time that Child Protective Services got involved and began investigating Jace’s situation.

TMZ claimed that in early October 2023, Janelle and David were under investigation for child neglect. According to The Sun, after losing custody of her child, Jenelle was ordered to complete intensive therapy by Child Protective Services and to undergo substance tests too. 

Jace reportedly told his grandmother that his stepfather was harming him. The Sun claimed that the teenager told doctors, a therapist, a county Sheriff, and a CPS staffer that David had hurt him.

On January 10th, David appeared in Columbus Superior Court where he was indicted on felony CA charges. The court clerk told In Touch that enough evidence had been found to take David’s case out of district court, where misdemeanors were held, and bring it to the superior court.

According to the news website, Jenelle appears to be supporting her husband. Days after his court case, she shared on social media that she lived in the most corrupt place in the world. On Facebook, she also posted, “It’s funny how bias people are against us. When the truth comes out I hope you feel stupid”.

One of The Sun’s insiders reported that the CPS case against Janelle’s household was closed. The younger children would not be removed from the home. 

The Shocking Downfall of Kate Gosselin

Kate Gosselin is now living alone and almost completely broke. She’s reportedly desperate for money and has no one left in her corner. But let’s be real, she only has herself to blame. The bizarre truth about how she single-handedly caused her own downfall is honestly crazy… 

At the height of her reality TV career, Kate had a full household and a very comfortable bank account. But according to what an insider recently revealed to The U.S. Sun, those days are long gone. Now, Kate is totally on her own and is allegedly seriously struggling financially.

The source claimed that Leah, Alexis, Aaden, and Joel, the four sextuplets that were in Kate’s care, have all left her North Carolina home and moved away to attend college. But even though she now has all the free time in the world, Kate’s behavior has been so insane lately.

Kate Has Been Trying to Get More Child Support From Jon

Despite the fact that Kate is supposedly hurting for money and hasn’t been busy with childcare for a while now, she’s still allegedly refusing to get a normal job. What she’s hoping will happen instead is absolutely unreal. It turns out that Kate is once again going head-to-head with Jon in court, in hopes of getting $132,000 in back child support from him.

She’s been trying to pursue this case since September 2022, which another insider believes isn’t exactly a coincidence. After the sextuplets turned 18 in May 2022, Kate most likely lost access to their trust funds and bank accounts. Just three months later, Jon outed her for stealing thousands of dollars from their children.

And how she tried to defend herself was downright ridiculous: She claimed that she had only borrowed $100,000 from Hannah and Collin’s trust funds. She added that she had no other option and needed the money to survive. But even though she said she would pay the kids back, that reportedly never happened.

Now, Kate is doing whatever she can to bring in more cash – other than actually working for it. She’s desperate for the payout from Jon, who originally claimed that the amount of money was inappropriately high. But the source told The U.S. Sun that Kate’s original custody plan was nothing but a money-making scheme anyway.

In 2012, Kate allegedly pushed for more custody of the kids, but not because she actually wanted more parenting time with them. She supposedly wanted more filming opportunities with them, in order to make more money. Not to mention, the longer she had the kids living with her, the more child support Jon was ordered to pay.

Kate Hasn’t Had a Job Outside In Close to 20 Years

The insider added that aside from reality TV, Kate hasn’t held actual employment anywhere in close to 20 years. She was on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test in the beginning of 2023, but was kicked off almost right away due to a neck injury.

But what she told People magazine about her departure from the show was extremely telling. Kate revealed that she was still super angry about having to leave the show. She had even tried to hide how seriously hurt she was, because she didn’t want to be sent home.

She claimed that she had wanted more chances to challenge herself and face her fears, but I think we all know the truth. Kate most likely just wanted more money from being on the show and was upset that her screen time was cut short.

After all, she supposedly does not want to have to actually work to fund her lifestyle, even though she’s capable of getting a decent-paying job. Another source told In Touch Weekly that Kate does have a multi-state nursing license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing that expires in 2025.

But she’s reportedly had a really tough time accepting the fact that she might have to return to working as a nurse, which is truly unbelievable. That insider also claimed that Kate has been barely scraping by financially, and she has nobody around her to support her, either.

They said that she spends most of her time at home watching TV and has a surprisingly lonely lifestyle. Allegedly, Kate doesn’t really have any close friends, since her best friends were her kids. But now, the 23-year-old twins live and work in New York City and the 19-year-old sextuplets have either moved away or distanced themselves from Kate completely.

The In Touch Weekly source also shared that Kate doesn’t date, either, and one of the possible reasons for that is pretty crazy. Whenever she’s noticed by people out in public, it’s not totally uncommon for at least some of them to make negative comments toward her.

But she supposedly isn’t always recognized anymore for a crazy reason. Since Kate no longer has the cash to pay for Botox, fillers, and the glam squad that she allegedly used to have, she looks like a totally different person now. To tell you the truth, it sounds like Kate’s life has been seriously sad lately… 

But whose fault is that, exactly? If Kate had focused on simply being a good mom, she probably wouldn’t be in such a terrible situation right now. But because she cared more about being famous and making money than the well-being of her own kids, she continued to exploit them for years.

In a 2019 interview on The Dr. Oz Show, Jon accused Kate of making their kids film even when they didn’t want to. He said that all of the children had mentioned at least once that they felt like Kate had forced them to provide for themselves and her by appearing on TV.

But what happened a month after the interview was honestly insane. That December, Kate was found in contempt of court for breaking rules that were set by the judge. Apparently, the judge who had worked on Kate and Jon’s custody case didn’t think that it was in the best interest of the children to film.

But Kate had broken the guidelines he put in place to protect the kids in a shocking way. Kate reportedly failed to give Jon a copy of the children’s filming schedule, which was supposed to be approved by both parents. But that wasn’t all… 

She also hadn’t gotten the proper filming permits for the sextuplets, who were minors at the time, which were necessary for them to make money for their appearances. Because Kate had violated the legal court order, she had to pay $1,500 to Jon in fees.

If she had broken the judge’s rules a second time, she could have actually ended up behind bars, but she wasn’t even given the chance to go against the order again. TLC fired Kate for the violations she made against her and Jon’s court order regarding their children.

Whether or not she had intended to keep the money the kids had earned for their appearances, she obviously wasn’t looking out for their best interests. And in the end, her money-hungry ways cost her the only career she wanted.

Kate’s latest court battle with Jon in an attempt to get more money from him is also bizarre, considering she’s done everything she can to slam him in the media. She tried to destroy his reputation in the spotlight, along with turning his own kids against him.

Kate Hasn’t Been Able to Afford Her Lifestyle

But now, she supposedly can’t afford her lifestyle without his financial help. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Kate and Jon’s recent court case, considering their drama throughout the years. If he really does owe her money, I’m sure the judge will see that.

But if what Jon and his family have said is true, what Kate is asking for is beyond the amount he was ever required to pay. Of course, Kate could always consider selling her luxurious home and downsizing to a more affordable place. She currently lives in a lakefront house that she somehow purchased for $750,000.  

It has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool, hot tub, and other extravagant amenities. Since Kate is living by herself now and is reportedly refusing to get a job, how exactly does she expect to keep staying in such a high-priced house?  We’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out for her… but as of right now, it’s definitely not looking good…

Kate used to be pretty successful in terms of reality TV fame, but that clearly went to her head. Now, she’s alone and nearly broke. But she did this to herself, by being greedy and prioritizing money over her children for years. It almost seems like this is her karma for exploiting her kids and going so hard against their father in the public eye.  

Are Nate Smith and Avril Lavigne Dating?

People reported they went to dinner at a fancy restaurant in Los Angeles on January 29th. Inside sources claim they are just “good pals.” But Avril has a history of being “just friends” with guys she’s worked with, including guys she eventually married.

So, what’s really going on?

After they left Catch restaurant in West Hollywood on Monday night, TMZ published a Backgrid video of Avril and Nate. Nate and Avril were shown riding around the Hollywood side streets in the back of a pickup truck. 

Then they stopped at a gas station, and Avril started skateboarding down the street as Nate tried to follow along. Someone in the truck’s cab even got out and started singing Avril’s famous song, “Sk8ter Boi.”

That song is over twenty years old now, and Avril is 39. Nate is 38, and they’re both allegedly single right now, although they’ve both dated other famous people recently.

Avril and Nate Are Discussing a Music Project Together

Avril had been dating Tyga on and off since February 2023, and Entertainment Tonight confirmed it. In July 2023, Entertainment Tonight caught Avril and Tyga together in Las Vegas two weeks after sources alleged that they split up.

But People reported an exclusive from an inside source last October. Avril and Tyga ended it for good.

As for Nate, it was the worst-kept secret in country music last year that he was allegedly dating Savannah Chrisley when he appeared on her “Unlocked” podcast. In May 2023, Savannah told E! News that Nate was “literally the best,” and when he appeared on her podcast in January, they had been “talking” and “hanging out.” But when E! interviewed her, Savannah claimed it didn’t work out with Nate, and she blamed bad timing.

So, what’s the deal with Nate and Avril? An exclusive source told People that Avril and Nate are “discussing a music project together.”

TMZ even updated their original article with the video showing Avril and Nate skateboarding around the Hollywood streets. At 10:15 a.m. on January 30th, TMZ claimed that a “source with direct knowledge” told them Avril and Nate were just “good pals.” The TMZ source also said that Avril and Nate are just discussing “future music projects, and nothing more.”

But being “good pals” with Nate kind of sounds like something Avril once said about Chad Kroeger. People reported on Avril’s Instagram message when she claimed that she and Chad “are still, and forever will be, the best of friends.” In case you didn’t remember, Avril wrote that message about Chad after they announced they were getting a divorce.

Avril Has a Type: Fellow Musicians

In October 2023, after her alleged “official split” from Tyga, People dropped the bombshell about Avril’s dating history. The most shocking thing about Avril is that she seems to have a type: fellow musicians.

Avril has worked with many of the musicians she ended up dating in the past, and the real truth is that she was engaged to another musician the first time she was seen in public with Tyga. According to People, when Avril and Tyga were spotted together at the super-popular L.A. restaurant Nobu on February 19, 2023, an insider said: “Avril and Tyga are genuinely friends and nothing more.” 

Did the insider say that because Avril was already engaged to Mod Sun? Mod Sun’s real name is Derek Smith, and Avril met him when he worked on her album Love Sux. At the time, Avril told People she had a “very strong unstoppable connection” with Mod from the “first week of writing and working together.”

Mod and Avril dated for a year, and she accepted his proposal in March 2022. In an exclusive interview with People, Avril said: “It was the most perfect, romantic proposal I could ever ask for.”

But just one day after she was seen at Nobu with Tyga, another source set the record straight with People. The source claimed: “Avril and Mod Sun have been on and off for the past two months but are no longer together as a couple.” 

Shockingly, Mod didn’t see it that way. A rep for Mod told Page Six exclusively: “They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour, so if anything has changed, that’s news to him.”

Avril and Tyga Did Not Remain Friends

Only a week after she dumped Mod for Avril and her “friend,” Tyga, were spotted together in Paris. At the beginning of March 2023, Avril and Tyga showed up at the same time to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Parisian birthday party. 

Days later, they were photographed kissing at the entrance to a party held for Paris Fashion Week. So it was pretty obvious that Tyga and Avril weren’t just “friends” anymore. 

People spoke with a source of Avril’s who alleged that Tyga and Avril were getting to know each other. The source also said: “It’s very new. It’s very casual.”

Then insider told another side to the story just a few weeks after Avril was with Tyga in France. This insider told People that Avril and Tyga were “very into each other” and were “spending a lot of time together.” 

They also alleged that Tyga and Avril were “still not exclusive” and “taking things very slowly to be on the safe side.” The couple wanted to get to know each other before “diving into something serious.”

Avril Stayed Friends With Chad After Their Divorce

Avril also dated a music producer named J.R. Rotem a couple of years after her divorce from Chad. J.R. isn’t as well-known as Avril’s other high-profile boyfriends, but when he posted a photo with Avril in the recording studio, it seemed to signal they were dating.  

Avril and J.R. weren’t together for long. He posted that photo to Instagram in August, and by October of the same year, they were no longer together.

Chad met Avril when they collaborated on a song for her fifth studio album. That was in February, and they allegedly began dating in July.

By August, Avril and Chad were engaged after allegedly dating for one month. Avril went on the Katie Couric show, and Katie couldn’t believe the size of Avril’s insane engagement ring.

One unusual thing about Avril and Chad is that they stayed really good friends after their divorce. They continued to work together on music, and Entertainment Tonight Canada interviewed them about their friendship after splitting up. It sounded crazy at the time, but Avril confirmed it.

So it’s pretty clear that Avril has a history of dating her musical friends and maybe even staying friends with some of them afterward.

Nate and Avril Were Spotted in Matching Outfits

Avril has been married twice. Before Chad, she was engaged to Deryck Whibley, the lead singer of Sum 41. Deryck and Avril got engaged when she was 21 years old, and they married at a private estate in Montecito, California, a year later.

By 2009, Avril’s first marriage was over, and an insider told People that she split with Deryck because they got “married too young.”

Because Nate is from Paradise, California, he lost his home during the devastating California wildfire season in 2018. Nate’s experience with a terrifying natural disaster inspired one of his songs, “One Of These Days.”

His song, “Wildfire,” became a viral hit on TikTok several years ago. After his initial success, Nate signed a record deal with Nashville’s Sony Music division, and he released singles called “Raised Up” and “I Don’t Wanna Go To Heaven.”

When they were spotted together at Catch, Avril and her “good pal” Nate were already dressing like a couple in matching black jackets, t-shirts, and jeans. Avril had a huge grin on her face, almost like she knew something we didn’t.

What’s Wrong With Kris Kristofferson

Decades ago, Kris Kristofferson began suffering from mysterious health problems. What’s worse is that Kris was misdiagnosed by his doctors and went years without proper treatment. The truth about Kris and what’s really wrong with him is shocking.

Kris is the songwriter behind legendary hits like “Me and Bobby McGee.” He was also a movie star next to famous leading ladies, including Barbra Streisand.

When Kris appeared at the Hollywood Bowl with Rosanne Cash in April 2023, his appearance was heartbreaking. Sources say it’s a miracle that Kris can still walk around, let alone perform in front of 17,000 people.

There’s one side of the story of Kris’s serious health issues. Then there’s the real truth.

His world started crashing down in 2006 when he starred in a movie called Disappearances. The movie might not be well-remembered, but sources allege that something happened to Kris behind the scenes that changed his life forever. Kris’s wife, Lisa, believes that Kris got infected with Lyme Disease while filming in the backwoods of Vermont.

Lyme Disease is a crippling illness. Its online support community is called LymeDisease.org. In the fall of 2016, Kris and Lisa’s interview appeared on the Lyme Disease website. 

Lisa described the many years that Kris had suffered from terrible symptoms that weren’t diagnosed properly. She told the interviewer, Dana Parish, that Kris had “massive, painful spasms all over his back and legs.” Lisa explained that Kris’s damaged nerve endings caused “golf-ball-sized, painful contractions.” 

They tried everything from heat treatments, massage, and acupuncture to a cortisone shot in Kris’s spine and even an antidepressant to try and relieve his symptoms. Lisa said the worst symptoms dragged on, and Kris was unable to work because of the pain. 

Kris Was Likely Bitten by an Infected Tick

She also explained how and why she believed this had happened to Kris. When Kris was shooting Disappearances, Lisa revealed that Kris had spent “six weeks in the woods” in remote Vermont, and “he was on the forest floor for much of the shoot.” Because Lyme Disease is contracted by humans from infected ticks, Kris would have been very exposed to these ticks in the forest during the making of the movie.

Shockingly, Lisa claimed that the doctors in Malibu, where they lived at the time, didn’t know enough about Lyme Disease, so he wasn’t correctly tested for Lyme Disease until 2016—an entire decade later.

Rolling Stone also interviewed Kris in 2016. According to Rolling Stone, Kris “couldn’t even remember what he was doing from one moment to the next.” Kris even started writing a song about it but then forgot about writing the song.

Lisa took Kris to doctor after doctor, and he was told the same things, but it wasn’t the real truth. Every doctor claimed that Kris’s memory loss was due to Alzheimer’s disease or, maybe, dementia since Kris had boxed and played football earlier in his life and got a few blows to his head.  

Lisa revealed in the interview with Dana that Kris was told he had severe sleep apnea and a heart condition called “arrhythmia,” or an irregular heartbeat. Kris was prescribed a CPAP machine for his supposed condition, but Lisa said he refused to use the machine after one try. Kris also got a pacemaker for the heart condition, and Lisa said he took “so much Advil for headaches that he got anemic.”

She told Rolling Stone that Kris “was taking all these medications for things” he didn’t have. Lisa alleged that all those medications had side effects that also affected him.

Lisa Was Told To Say Goodbye

Kris has been through many serious health challenges in his life, and Rolling Stone described one shocking incident between Kris and Lisa outside an operating room. This happened in 1999, years before Kris allegedly got infected with Lyme Disease in Vermont. He had to undergo heart bypass surgery, and on his way to the operating room, the doctor made an unbelievable suggestion. 

According to Kris, the doctor told him and Lisa “that this would be a good place to say goodbye.”

Lisa told the doctor: “I hope it’s not goodbye.” 

But Kris said: “So what if it is?” 

Thankfully, he made it through his heart bypass surgery.

By 2015, Lisa had grown frustrated with how badly Kris was doing. She told Dana: “After a year of iron supplements and seeing a hematologist, he just wasn’t healthy-looking.”

So, Lisa took a drastic step. She booked an examination for Kris with Dr. Mark Filidei at the Whitaker Wellness Institute, and the results were truly shocking.

After examining Kris and watching the constant twitching of his forearm muscles, Dr. Filidei suspected that Kris had Lyme disease. Two blood tests later, he finally received a formal diagnosis in February 2016.

Lisa was even more shocked by what happened to Kris after he stopped taking other medications for Alzheimer’s and depression and started treatment for Lyme disease. She told Rolling Stone: “All of a sudden he was back,” although Lisa admitted: “There are still bad days.”

Kris Now Spends His Time Riding His Tractor

OK! Magazine updated us on Kris’s health in April 2023. Since the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020, Kris claimed he was “officially retired” and living with Lisa in Hawaii. In the OK! article, the writer claimed that Kris was living his “brave last days,” and he was still battling Lyme disease. 

But Kris didn’t sound like he was done with living just yet. He told OK!: “I spend most of my time on my tractor, mowing the grass around there.” Kris called it his “therapy” and joked: “No one can mess with me on the tractor.”

Kris also recalled exciting times as a young man, like winning a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford University in England. He said: “I got to get really involved in William Blake and Shakespeare.”

After studying at Oxford, Kris became a U.S. Army helicopter pilot. During his service in West Germany, Kris formed a band, but after six years in the military, he left the army for good. Kris told OK! that his parents were so angry about him quitting the army that they disowned him.

Kris also told a sad tale about his relationship with the legendary Janis Joplin. He said: “I guess Janis doing ‘Bobby McGee’ was one that moved me profoundly.” Kris confessed that he’d had a romantic relationship with Janis before she passed away.

The first time Kris heard Janis’s cover of ‘Bobby McGee,’ he said, “It blew me away.” But sadly, Janis was already gone.

Kris Has Chosen the Words on His Tombstone

Lisa is Kris’s third wife. He was married to Fran Beer and Rita Coolidge before that. He also has eight children. 

During his Rolling Stone interview, Kris claimed: “I really have no anxiety about controlling my own life.” Kris also admitted to feeling lucky that his life had lasted for so long because he said: “I’ve done so many things that could have knocked me out of it.”

Kris appears to believe in a higher power. He said, “I just always have the feeling that He knows what He’s doing. It’s been good so far, and it’ll probably continue to be.”

The OK! article claimed that Kris is more “realistic” about his current direction in life and already has “the words he wants for his tombstone.” The words are from an acclaimed song by Leonard Cohen called “Bird On a Wire.” It goes: “Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir, I have tried, in my way, to be free.”

Anna Cardwell’s Husband Speaks Out

Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell’s husband, Eldridge Toney, opened up about his current relationship with his late wife’s two daughters. 

“I have been seeing them as much as I can,” Eldridge told People in an exclusive interview. “I’ve been staying really persistent on seeing both of them.”

Anna tragically passed away in December at the age of 29, leaving behind daughters Kaitlyn, 8, and Kylee, 11. Eldridge isn’t the girls’ biological father, nor does he have custody of them following his wife’s passing. 

Anna’s Husband Feels Like ‘Another Father’ to Her Girls

That said, he shared with People that he feels like another dad to the girls. Additionally, he promised Anna that he would be there for them. “I am making sure I stay true to the promise I made to Anna,” he said. “I love watching the girls grow up.”

“Her dying wish was for her girls to grow up knowing who their mother was. And I promised I would do right by the girls, always. I will spend my life doing right by Anna and the girls.”

For example, Eldridge remembers that Anna always lovingly teased Kylee about her hair never growing past her ears. Now that Kylee’s hair is starting to grow, he thinks about his wife and what her reaction would have been.

“Just now seeing [Kylee’s] hair is starting to grow so long, it’s like already past her shoulders, and it’s in those moments I really think about Anna and how she would smile, so big, just seeing that her hair is actually starting to grow. It’s just a little stuff like that,” he shared. 

Eldridge and Anna met in 2017 following Anna’s divorce from her ex-husband Michael Cardwell, who is Kylee’s dad. They got married on March 2, 2023, shortly after Anna’s diagnosis with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. 

Mama June Has Custody of One Of Anna’s Daughters

On December 9, 2023, Anna passed away after a 10-month battle with cancer. Her mom, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Mama June Shannon, was granted temporary custody of Kaitlyn. 

According to court documents obtained by US Weekly, Mama June said in her custody filing that the identity of Kaitlyn’s biological father remains “unknown.” This ruling followed a court battle with Anna’s ex-husband Michael, who also argued that he should have custody of the girl based on their relationship. Kylee is currently living with him. 

“It’s easier now to see Kaitlyn than it is Kylee, just because Kaitlyn is right up the road. And I pretty much know June and Justin’s schedule. But as far as Kylee, I don’t get to see her as much, but I still do see her as much as possible,” Eldridge told People. 

Kyle Chrisley Reveals Secret Daughter

Kyle Chrisley has a secret daughter! He just recently posted about her on his Instagram. But who is she, annd why is he raising her but not Chloe?

On December 2, 2023, Kyle posted a couple of photos of him and his secret daughter to his Instagram. He did this to celebrate her 15th birthday.

His post shocked a lot of people. For one, many of us had no idea that he even had another daughter. But it turns out that he does.

This mysterious daughter is named Mackenzie Chrisley, and she’s not Kyle’s biological daughter. She is his stepdaughter. But he adopted her, presumably after he married her mom and his current wife, Ashleigh.

It seems like the two of them have a pretty close father-daughter relationship. This is also obvious from Kyle’s caption that he wrote for the birthday post.

In it, he said: “I think you’ve been my biggest fan since day 1. I can’t believe how much you’ve grown, but it’s been so fun watching you grow into the beautiful person you’re meant to be. I love you so much, and I’m so proud to call you my daughter.”

The photos that Kyle shared showed him and Mackenzie at different points in time. The first photo was from her 15th birthday. So it showed them as they are now.

But the second photo was from years ago. Mackenzie was a lot younger in that photo. This can only mean one thing. He’s been in her life for a while now. That’s one of the reasons why this whole thing is so shocking.

Kyle Doesn’t Have Custody of Chloe

I mean, on the surface, it’s great that Kyle seems to have an amazing relationship with his stepdaughter. At the end of the day, Mackenzie is still a kid, and she deserves to have people who love and care for her.

At the same time, you have to wonder. Why is Kyle raising his stepdaughter but not Chloe?

We all know that Todd and Julie gained full custody of Chloe in 2016. This happened because Kyle and Chloe’s mom were both having a lot of issues.

Neither of them was ready to be a good parent to Chloe. So, it made sense for Todd and Julie to take over.

That being said, we know that Kyle has been in Mackenzie’s life for years at this point. He and Ashleigh got together in 2018. It’s possible that he’s been in Mackenzie’s life since then.

And I can’t help but wonder, if he was capable of being in Mackenzie’s life, why wasn’t he there for Chloe? Well, it looks like he might have an answer for that.

After he posted about Mackenzie’s 15th birthday on his Instagram, he received a lot of backlash. People weren’t happy with him for seemingly abandoning Chloe for his new family.

But one person in the comments defended him. They wrote that Kyle gave up Chloe when he was in a bad place in his life. This was the best thing for her at the time.

But now, circumstances have changed. He’s finally in a good place. And this person wrote: “So why can’t people be happy that he made it through his addiction and is now a good father?”

Kyle Actually Has Two Stepchildren

I guess that’s a good point, except he’s clearly been in a good place for a while now. It just seems a little weird that he’s still not taking care of Chloe.

Then again, the commenter also made another good point. They said Chloe was adopted by Todd and Julie.

This means that Kyle can’t just go and take her from them now that he’s doing better. That’s not how it works. He gave up his parental rights, so Chloe is legally Todd and Julie’s daughter.

The commenter finished by saying that they’re sure that Kyle isn’t happy about what happened. He put his addiction above his daughter, and that’s why we are where we are. But now, he seems to be a sober and good dad, which is what matters.

Kyle responded to this comment and wrote: “This comment. Thank you.” So it seems he fully agrees with what the commenter had to say.

Maybe he does regret that he lost Chloe because of all his substance issues. Maybe he would like it if things were different. But there’s not much he can do about it now.

All he can do is try to be better for his stepkids because Mackenzie isn’t his only stepchild. He also adopted her brother, Haiden Chrisley.

Haiden turned 16 in August of last year, and just like he did with Mackenzie, Kyle dedicated an Instagram post to him. He wished Haiden a happy birthday and wrote: “I cannot believe you are 16. You’ve grown up so fast; it’s like I blink and you’re another inch taller.”

He also said that he didn’t know that he could learn so much from a child. But every day, Haiden showed him a different side of himself.

He said that this made him have a new respect for his own dad. And he added: “We’ve been through a heck of a lot the last few years, and you definitely give me a run for my money, but I wouldn’t trade you for the world.”

Chloe Didn’t Spend Her Birthday with Kyle

So, Kyle is actually raising two kids, but not Chloe, his biological daughter. He does seem heartbroken about that, though.

On Chloe’s birthday, he also made a touching post. In November 2023, he wished her a happy 11th birthday.

He said that he loved her so much and that he hoped she’d had the best day. This was a hint that he didn’t actually spend her birthday with her. But I don’t think that was his choice.

From what we know, he hasn’t been able to see Chloe in recent months. That’s all because of Savannah Chrisley.

When Todd and Julie went to prison, they gave custody of Chloe to Savannah. She and Kyle don’t exactly have the best relationship. She supposedly doesn’t let Kyle see Chloe, even though her parents used to allow that.

Savannah never said it was directly related, but she did make some pretty angry statements about both of her older siblings. In them, she said that she wasn’t going to make amends with anyone who had contributed to her parents being in prison.

Both Kyle and Lindsie helped law enforcement arrest Todd and Julie, which is most likely why Savannah keeps Chloe away from Kyle. But does she not want Chloe to have a relationship with her biological dad?

Kyle Was Arrested in 2023

I mean, I guess she does have her reasons. Despite all the talk about Kyle being in a good place now, things haven’t exactly been perfect.

Just last year, he got arrested by the Smyrna Police Department in Tennessee. This was after he got into a physical fight with a supervisor at work. So, it’s not like Kyle’s record has been squeaky clean since he became sober.

Maybe Savannah is just trying to protect Chloe. It’s true that Todd and Julie gave custody to her and not Kyle, which is interesting now that we know that he’s been raising his stepkids.

I mean, presumably, they knew that he’s a capable dad now. But they still didn’t give him custody of Chloe. So, did they not really trust him, either?

Todd and Julie definitely had to know about Kyle’s stepkids because it seems like the kids do actually have a relationship with some of the other Chrisleys.

In November 2023, Mackenzie posted a video on her Instagram of her teaching Nanny Faye TikTok dances. So, if she knows Nanny Faye, she probably knows Todd and Julie. So why didn’t they trust Kyle with Chloe when they went to prison?

Sammi Breaks Silence on Ronnie

After over ten years away from the show, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has recently opened up about what it was like to return to filming Jersey Shore with her ex-boyfriend, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

In an exclusive conversation with the outlet TooFab, Sammi talked about coming back to star with the rest of the cast in Jersey Shore Family Vacation. In particular, she shared how she felt about having to be reunited with her ex, Ronnie.

Sammi made it clear that she was not too thrilled about having to come face-to-face with Ronnie again. She told TooFab, “Like, it’s not ideal. I wasn’t looking forward to it, but I did know that if I were to come back on this show again, that this could be a possibility.”

Sammi added, “I mean, it’s a given. And I was like, listen, this person doesn’t affect my life anymore.” She even described being back around Ronnie as being like “just working with a co-worker.” 

However, she also made it clear that it wasn’t plain sailing. Sammi told TooFab, “I’m not happy about it, but it is what it is, and you’re gonna see me kind of navigate through that a little bit on this season.” Sammi gave her interview ahead of Jersey Shore’s long-awaited return to the screen. 

Unlike her fellow cast members, it took Sammi years to come back for Family Vacation. The follow-up series started way back in 2018, but it wasn’t until the sixth season that Sammi felt comfortable taking part. According to TooFab, Sammi refused to return until Ronnie stepped away from the show following legal and mental health issues.

Sammi Doesn’t Need an Apology

Ronnie later returned to Family Vacation and apologized to his co-stars for what he had put them through. However, Sammi reportedly “avoided” him. She also told TooFab that she was not hoping for a similar apology from Ronnie herself. 

When asked, she said, “Hell no! There’s nothing that needs to be said.” She continued, “Things were said back when we broke up. There’s nothing that needs to be said at all from his end to me, from my end to him.”

She went on to say that she was “good” and that she did not “need closure.” Sammi even seemed to hint that there could be peace between the former couple in the Jersey Shore house.

She said, “You’re there. I respect you because you’re there. This is also his family too. He’s just a co-worker, and I’m not here for a bad time or bad vibes.” She concluded, “I’m going my way, and he’s going his way, and that’s hopefully how it’s gonna stay.”

In the previous season of Family Vacation, Ronnie had also talked about how things were between him and Sammi. TooFab reported on a conversation with Snooki Polizzi, where Ronnie said, “She’s a great person, she’s a great woman, she was always good to me.”

Referring to Sammi’s new boyfriend Justin May, Ronnie said that he was “happy” that his ex was able to find “someone who can give her what I wasn’t ready to give her.” How well the ex-couple will get on in the newest season of the show remains to be seen.
