After over 7 years of marriage, Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor recently called it quits. The two have been separated for a few months, though a recent social media comment has some fans hoping for an unlikely reunion.
Iman Shumpert is a former NBA player who was drafted in the 1st round in 2011. He won an NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. He’s also dabbled in rap music outside his NBA career and won the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars.
Meanwhile, Teyana is a singer, songwriter, model, and actress. She has released several albums and appeared in dozens of TV shows and movies. She has also directed music videos under the “Spike Tey” name, and won the BET award for Video Director of the Year on more than one occasion.
The two first met in 2011 but didn’t begin dating until 2013. After a few years of dating, Shumpert proposed to Taylor in 2015 at their baby shower. The couple later married in 2016.
They have two daughters together and the couple also starred in a few reality TV series about their lives together, including Teyana & Iman and We Got Love Teyana & Iman. Unfortunately, things between the two weren’t as great behind the scenes as they may have appeared on TV.
Their Marriage Was “Irretrievably Broken”
In late 2023, the pair announced that they were divorcing and had already been separated for months. Taylor had filed for divorce in January 2023 but attempted to keep it private for the sake of the family.
Court documents obtained by TMZ after the divorce filing say that some of the reasons Teyana sought a divorce were that Shumpert was cruel at times, narcissistic, and even verbally and mentally abusive towards her. Teyana also accused him of cheating on her on multiple different occasions.
She said she turned down acting roles and recording opportunities during the relationship because Shumpert didn’t want her to work. He reportedly became more insecure as his NBA career wound down.
Despite all the drama between them, Iman recently posted a social media comment stating how great Teyana looked at the Met Gala. Though he didn’t name her directly, the wording of his comment didn’t leave a lot of doubt.
The comment could be a relatively innocent observation from Iman, but some believe it’s an attempt to reignite the relationship. Countless fans loved the family together, especially on the show. This comment gives many of them a glimmer of hope that the two could eventually reconcile.
However, Teyana said that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” in the court documents ahead of their divorce, so it remains to be seen what the future has for them.
While Morgan Wallen is frequently in the headlines, his mother only recently found herself in the spotlight. She defended her son after the Nashville City Council prohibited his bar from hanging a sign outside the establishment.
For those unfamiliar, Morgan Wallen got his start in the industry on the TV Show “The Voice” in 2014. He was eliminated from the show, but continued making connections in the industry and eventually signed with a record label.
He burst onto the country music scene in 2018 and has since released several popular songs. This includes “Last Night” which sat at the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for weeks.
However, he’s also had his fair share of troubles recently. In early 2021, a video obtained by TMZ showed Wallen using a racial slur while hanging out with friends.
He faced considerable backlash for this. His songs were taken off the radio on many stations and his recording contract was suspended. Wallen was also seen ignoring CDC guidelines while partying in Alabama in 2020.
Morgan’s Behavior Has Continued to Be an Issue
In 2024, Wallen was arrested for throwing a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s bar in Nashville. He was charged with both reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
Not only that, but the chair almost hit two police officers who were walking outside below the bar. He was eventually released from jail, but the news made headlines across the country.
As a result of his many controversies, a request for his bar to hang a sign outside was denied by the Nashville City Council. It was a vote of 30-3, so only a few people believed his bar should get the sign.
In addition to many of his fans being upset about this decision, his mother, Lesli, was outraged. She took to Instagram recently to voice her displeasure and share her thoughts on what happened.
First, she shared a photo of a recent sold-out show that Wallen had in Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, and even went as far as tagging the city in the post. She also left a comment on a Country Chord post featuring a photo of Morgan Wallen, saying “Way to go, Morgan, the city of Nashville says ‘Thank you for all of your help bringing in millions of revenue.’”
It seems she thinks it’s unfair for his bar to be denied a sign when he brings so much money and tourism to the city of Nashville.
While it’s normal for a mom to want to stand up for her son, people believe she’s enabling his poor behavior. She appears to be making excuses for him, or at the very least failing to see where the Nashville city council is coming from with their decision.

Things Are Looking Up for Audrina
Well recently, some eagle-eyed fans may have discovered her newest potential beau, country music star Michael Ray. Michael Ray is a singer who has been active since 2010. He has released two albums that peaked within the Top 5 on the US Country charts.
He has a bit of a past when it comes to romance, as well. Michael started dating fellow country music performer Carly Pearce in 2018, and the two married later that year. However, this was short-lived, as she filed for divorce from him only 8 months after their marriage.
He went on to date Tyler Tritt, the daughter of country music star, Travis Tritt before that relationship also ended. The same could be true of his short time together with Marlee Brown. Now, many believe he has his sights set on Patridge.
The two could be seen liking each other’s posts on Instagram. Patridge even shared one of Ray’s songs on an Instagram Reel, which he quickly reposted. This back and forth has many fans believing the two are an item.
While neither has confirmed their relationship, and this could be about friends supporting friends, many people believe there’s romance in the air. Only time will tell whether the two go public or keep things under wraps.

Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons is in the middle of a storm caused by his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons. The former power couple’s tumultuous relationship has resurfaced in the public eye, with allegations flying and reputations on the line.
Kimora Lee Simmons, whose name is often linked to fashion and glitz, has taken to social media to vent her anger at her ex-husband, painting a picture of a man who is very different from how he acts in public. Kimora accused Russell of emotional and psychological abuse on Instagram, saying that he had been a manipulative person in her life and the lives of their children, especially their girls Ming and Aoki Lee Simmons.
Russell Simmons‘s Instagram Live video, in which he looked clearly upset and was allegedly yelling at his daughters, set off this very public spat. Kimora broke her silence and said she had been mistreated for years. In a number of now-deleted posts, she talked about how Russell’s behavior had hurt their family.
Aoki Lee Simmons Exposed Her Father, Russell
Even Kimora’s 21-year-old daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons, spoke out about the family drama from her point of view. In her own Instagram posts, Aoki backed up what her mother said by saying that she had to deal with her father’s aggressive behavior for years. She showed images of text messages that showed their relationship was tense. Russell was said to have said hurtful things and had a short temper.

“Between a lot of people who are close to him and who have experienced how he has just lashed out at anyone he can and completely change the person that he is, a lot of us feel like maybe something’s wrong mentally,” she said in the now-deleted Instagram posts. “He’s older, [maybe] bi-polar? I don’t know. But he has completely changed. I will come on here and talk about whatever I want because it’s my life and I’m the one suffering. The couple texts I just had, those are only the beginning.”
According to The Independent, Aoki Lee Simmons said she had tried to keep a relationship with her father despite the problems. However, one particular incident from last year on Father’s Day seemed to have changed the dynamic between Russell and his daughter. According to Aoki, after she had wished her father a happy Father’s day, the mogul took to his Instagram Story to say: “Stop telling fathers they should have fought harder to see their children and start asking mothers why he had to fight at all.”
It was a backhanded thing to do, and apparently the last straw for both Aoki and her mother Kimora.
Kimora Said, ‘… I Do Everything On My Own’
Kimora is also on the record saying that she considers herself a single parent, as Russell and the fathers of her other children are largely uninvolved in their children’s lives.
“Men, powerful men, famous men, rich men, business rich men, whatever you want to call it,” said Kimora. “There’s a thing there and I don’t know what it is, but I don’t really have a great relationship with any of them and they’ve left me to it to just kind of do things on my own. I do everything on my own.”
Ashanti shocked fans when she first mentioned some of the things she had gone through on her journey to stardom. In particular, she dealt with at least two cases of harassment from people she worked with.
One incident involving a producer that Madame Noire reports she has never called out by name was brought back into the spotlight when she recalled what happened.
Just how out of line was this producer and what happened to Ashanti? Here’s what she has revealed so far.
A Producer Tried To Coerce Her
When Ashanti sought help from an unnamed producer, he initially assured her that he’d work on her records for free. This ended up being a bait and switch once they had finished the two records they had been working on.
According to Rolling Stone, Ashanti described his inappropriate demands as follows: “We did two records together, he was like, ‘Okay, I’m not gonna charge you, you know you my homie.’
When it came time to put it on the album, he was like, ‘Well, let’s take a shower together.’ I thought he was joking, and then he was like, ‘Nah, I’m dead serious. Let’s go out, or let’s take a shower together, and I’ll give you the records. If not, I need 40 racks per record.’ “
Obviously, Ashanti wasn’t having any of that and, thankfully, she got out of there without anything else happening. When pressed on her feelings about the incident, she told Rolling Stone: “It felt disrespectful, obviously. […] It’s really creepy, it’s really, really sad.”
Ashanti Fought Back
Instead of this story ending abruptly or going someplace dark, what happened next was surprisingly positive for Ashanti. She had called up some of her friends and family members to confront the shameless producer who was holding her records hostage.
As an apology, they didn’t charge her for anything and threw in another record too. According to Rolling Stone, she had this to say about how things played out: “The way that apology came in, I actually got three records for free. And I got two of them mixed and mastered for free also.”
When Ashanti chose to bring this story back into the spotlight, she had good reason to. Her point was to help other women in the industry and raise awareness of harassment issues in society.
Yahoo reported her saying: “Unfortunately, these things definitely happen. […] At some point, you just have to speak up. And that’s what I did.”
Her account of this crazy incident has certainly helped people recognize the issues many other women in the industry have faced.
Ashanti told Rolling Stone: “I’ve been through a lot of interviews – and sometimes I speak, but most of the time I don’t. I feel like at this point, at 20 years being in, and where we are in social media and what we’re doing to progressively grow in this industry, I feel like just for a woman I had to come out and just say my peace.”
There is something really sad about Marcus King’s wife, Briley King Hussey, but you wouldn’t know it just by looking at her because Briley is a stunning “social media influencer.”
Fan forums like the Celeb Wives of Nashville have been gossiping about Marcus and Briley since their engagement. One of their Reddit threads was dedicated to the “massive” diamond ring that Marcus gave Briley.
One commenter thought Marcus and Briley were a “weird couple” who gave them “weird vibes.” Someone else wrote that they “genuinely do not understand this couple.” Shockingly, they didn’t even think Marcus’ money was worth this marriage when they added, “I get it he has money but really.”
That’s not just sad. It’s kind of cruel. The truth is that Marcus might not even be as well-off as some of the Celeb Wives think he is.
Another commenter on the forum admitted that they wondered “where all the money is coming from” for Marcus to afford a “giant diamond and a massive luxury wedding.” They did imply that Marcus is “talented” and “great,” but he’s not at the “mainstream artist” stage yet, with constant radio play and huge stadium tours to make him super-rich.
So, what’s the real truth? Is Briley in this for the “money” that might not even be there, or is she trying to boost her career on social media by marrying Marcus? Other sides to this story would probably shock the Celeb Wives of Nashville, who’ve made catty comments that Briley and Marcus “look like a middle-aged mom and her son.”
Marcus Met Briley at His Lowest Point
People Magazine went in-depth when Marcus and Briley married in a “lavish ceremony” on February 19, 2023, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville.
At the time, Marcus was 26, and Briley was 31. While she is a bit older than him, Marcus confessed their whole love story to People.
Marcus said that Briley “waltzed up” on his tour bus the night they met as if “she owned it.” One of the first things that drew Marcus in wasn’t Briley’s looks but her “sweet southern drawl.”
He recalled that Briley “asked to connect to the Bluetooth,” and then she started playing Linda Ronstadt and Aretha Franklin loudly. They “sang and danced til it was time for the bus to leave.” Marcus told People, “I told her the next morning to quit her job and marry me instead.”
Maybe Marcus was joking in the People article because he told another, far darker side of this story in a SPIN interview published in May 2024. Marcus made far more serious confessions about the night he first met Briley.
He claimed he met “a woman” after a concert when he was at his “lowest point.” Marcus admitted that he “left this voicemail” for her “at five in the morning.” She had a “corporate job at the time, so obviously she didn’t answer the phone.”
Then, Marcus dropped a real truth bomb, confessing he was “in an incredibly broken and fragile state” that night. Can you guess who the woman with the “corporate job” was?
That’s right: it was Briley. Not only did she grow up in a wealthy North Carolina family, but she was working high-up with the Bank of America when she met Marcus. So, the real truth is Briley has always gotten by making her own money.
Briley and Marcus Are Talented Performers
Shockingly, Marcus confessed to SPIN that Briley became the “light” in his life when he needed some “guidance.” Briley and Marcus also share a love of music. Some of his fans were surprised to learn that Briley is a talented vocalist who used to sing the national anthem for college sporting events at North Carolina State University and East Carolina University.
Briley is drawn to Marcus, the super-talented performer who’s been compared to Chris Stapleton. When Marcus brings Briley on stage to sing duets, she doesn’t look like she’s acting. She honestly seems to adore her man.
However, The Providence Journal also reported that Briley sang at a huge rally in December 2015. At the time, she called it “hands down… the coolest experience of my life.” She called her mom “crying” afterward.
Briley’s “coolest experience” was singing at a political rally for Donald Trump when he ran for president nine years ago. That isn’t everyone’s idea of cool. When people online found out about Briley’s far-right politics, they threw shade at Marcus and Briley and accused her of turning him into a MAGA member.
So, is that another sad truth about Briley? Another Subreddit called Jambands is way more about the music than the gossip when it comes to Marcus, but users on one thread still claimed that Briley had gone on a “Trump tour” and “gave speeches.”
A user on the thread claimed to have evidence that Marcus had once been “very un-MAGA.” A year after Briley sang at the Trump rally, the user wrote, “I taped a show… where Marcus sang “Don’t Vote for Trump” instead of “We Want the Funk.”
But one user set the record straight about Marcus’s politics. They wrote that they’d seen Marcus “in Seattle a few months ago” and that Marcus and his band “made fun of Trump” for 15 minutes before the show started.” This user claimed that Marcus is “not a part of MAGA in any way.”
Briley Helped Save Marcus
In April 2024, an interview with Marcus appeared on CBS, and Marcus’s confessions were heartbreaking. Anybody who thinks that Marcus and Briley make a “weird couple” should pay closer attention to this.
Marcus talked about growing up and having his self-confidence “diminished by so many people.” Marcus revealed he’s finally found “hope” after “overcoming depression, body image issues, and abandonment.” Before he met Briley, music was his “safety blanket to escape everything,” including the “storm going on” in his brain.
In high school, Marcus felt like such an “outcast” that he quit in his “junior year.” He was still a teenager when he hit the road touring. Marcus admitted that he even used a fake name and email to get gigs for him and his band.
CBS reported that Marcus “released three acclaimed albums” as the leader of the Marcus King Band and earned a Grammy nomination for his debut solo album, “El Dorado,” in 2020. That was when Marcus hit rock bottom.
He admitted that he got into a “really rough spot.” Marcus went through a “really bad breakup” before he met Briley. It caused him to go on “a series of benders… followed by… deep, deep depression.”
Marcus revealed, “I was hurting so bad that it was difficult to perform.” At practically his lowest point, Marcus met Briley, and he told CBS that she “helped to save” him.
Marcus’ Little Bird
While Briley’s worst critics slam her for singing at a Trump rally nine years ago or “spending all Marcus’s money on hideous clothing,” it seems like Briley can pay for herself, and her politics are a non-issue.
Marcus would agree. He even told CBS that when he met Briley that night after a gig, he saw “a woman who wasn’t gonna tolerate any nonsense.”
In the People article, Briley explained how Marcus had nicknamed her ‘little bird’ the night they met. While it’s a sweet nickname, it doesn’t really explain what kind of woman Briley is deep down inside and the power of her love for Marcus.
He claimed to CBS that Briley could tell how deeply he was hiding his pain. He revealed, “She made me fight for it, fight for her.” When Marcus appeared on The Bob Lefsetz podcast, he explained how he knew Briley was “special” from the beginning.
Marcus described Briley as “really sassy” from the first time he met her. She’s always called him on his “BS.”
He met Briley at a gig in Raleigh, North Carolina. When he invited her backstage, Briley wasn’t having it. Marcus told Bob that Briley said, “What do you expect is gonna happen?”
She made it clear that she wasn’t some kind of groupie. She even joked to Marcus, “I bet you invite everybody backstage.” That’s when Marcus told his future wife, “You’re special,” which seems like the real truth.
Hardy and Caleigh Ryan got married on October 29, 2022, at Diamond Creek Farms in Nashville. People Magazine published a lengthy article on the “stunning” wedding and reception that 350 lucky people attended.
Throughout their first year as husband and wife, Caleigh actively did podcasts and interviews about their love story. But some people got suspicious when HARDY and Caleigh were suddenly quiet at the start of 2024.
There was an “unverified tea” thread posted on the Celeb Wives of Nashville Reddit forum in late January where someone had to ask, “Does anyone else feel like they are not together anymore?” That really got the rumor mill going.
One user said they remembered Caleigh “posting a screenshot” of her virtual New Year’s Eve “kiss” with HARDY, but another user “thought it was weird they didn’t spend New Year’s Eve together.” Someone else alleged that HARDY has “sobered up a bit and slowed down the partying” since he went public with his “mental health break.” This user wondered if Caleigh “hasn’t” stopped partying and whether it “has caused issues.”
At the other end of the Celeb Wives “unverified tea” rumor mill, a user asked if Caleigh could be “pregnant and taking time for herself?” They added, “Pregnancy can be hard on some.”
HARDY and Caleigh Are Looking to Grow Their Family
The Celeb Wives should check in with a genuine source because People Magazine got an exclusive interview with HARDY at the 2024 ACM Awards on May 16th. Shockingly, HARDY admitted that he and Caleigh were “looking to expand [their] family,” but not in the way you might think.
People talked to HARDY on the red carpet at the ACMs, and he said that he and Caleigh are “thinking about getting a cat and a dog right now.” HARDY had even picked out the dog breed. He said, “I think we’re gonna get a Tibetan Mastiff.”
It is interesting that People didn’t mention if Caleigh was HARDY’s plus one at the 2024 ACMs, but at least he confirmed that they are still husband and wife. People wrote that HARDY “opened up about life with Caleigh.” Shockingly, he confessed, “I respected her more after we got married.”
HARDY explained that “Communication, in general, is our thing.” He claimed that he and Caleigh “don’t hold anything back.” If one of them is angry, they “just tell” each other.
HARDY has been open to telling everyone some pretty personal things about his life. The Tennessean reported on January 24, 2024, that he’d appeared “on the second episode of a new music podcast” to confess how he’s dealing with serious panic attacks. The Tennessean wrote that a “traumatic bus accident” had seriously affected HARDY’s mental health, and he felt it was necessary to cancel some shows in 2023 to heal his mind, body, and spirit.
HARDY Took a Break from Drinking
“God’s Country” is a podcast that airs on iHeartPodcasts. The hosts are two brothers, Dan and Reid Isbell, who are “country music songwriters in Nashville and outdoor recreation enthusiasts.”
HARDY’s episode was on January 23rd. He spoke with Dan and Reid for over 90 minutes, setting the record straight on his terrifying struggle with anxiety.
HARDY revealed he’d “taken a break from drinking.” Even though he claimed he hadn’t used drinking as a form of “medicating,” HARDY experienced his first panic attacks “out of nowhere, twice in one week” after not drinking for “a couple of months.”
Shockingly, HARDY described the panic attack as “a punch in the chest… like a heart attack.” But now, he realizes that some of his mental health issues are due to the bus crash and how he didn’t process the “trauma” in the “right way.”
HARDY shared his “intensive trauma therapy program,” which was 18 hours devoted to therapy over three days. He also talked about an October 2023 Instagram post telling fans he had to cancel some shows on “The Mockingbird & THE CROW” tour.
Thomas Rhett Gave the Couple Marriage Advice
This was all going down around HARDY and Caleigh’s first anniversary. In an article published by Turning Point USA on October 15, 2023, Caleigh confessed that she’d gotten marriage advice from fellow country superstar Thomas Rhett.
The article was based on a podcast that Caleigh did with “The Spillover.” She confessed that she and HARDY really “look up to” Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins.
During the podcast, Caleigh referred to HARDY by his first name, Michael, and called Thomas “an angel.” She said Thomas was “so good” to her and Michael and that Thomas Rhett and Lauren “really do stand out as just incredible people.”
TR offered Caleigh and Michael some great tips on their wedding day, and Caleigh confessed that she and Michael had continued to reach out to TR for marriage advice “on how to navigate the life of a country music star couple.” Caleigh admitted that TR warned her, “It’s not easy” to be married to a country star. However, Thomas Rhett told her “to lead with love” and be constantly willing to “learn about each other… and work on it.”
The real truth is that country stars sometimes spend “a lot of away time” from their partners. A couple of weeks later, People Magazine reported that HARDY and Caleigh celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary on their social media accounts. HARDY posted a sweet message on Instagram, including a “throwback photo” of their first meeting. He wrote to his wife, “I love you so much,” and Caleigh commented, “Oh My God,” when she saw the post.
Caleigh posted a video of her and HARDY celebrating their anniversary at a bar. After they shared a shot, People wrote that “they celebrated with a hug and kiss,” and Caleigh captioned her post, “Last night at midnight, we celebrated our first year of marriage.” She finished by joking, “I love you so much, crazy.”

Diddy has an extensive criminal history, which includes numerous beefs with other rappers. There is also a long line of accusations of physical abuse from previous girlfriends.
