The sad truth about that incident is that one of Dog’s sons sold a private phone call recording to a media outlet, creating a worldwide scandal.

Dog had 13 kids at one time. He sadly lost his daughter, Barbara Katie, to a fatal car crash in 2006. The son who sold that recording to the National Enquirer is Tucker Chapman, who is Barbara’s brother.
Dog had no clue Tucker was recording the call when he used an offensive term about Tucker’s Black girlfriend. When the Internet heard that disgusting slur, Dog got temporarily canceled.
After the scandal erupted, Dog appeared on Larry King Live on CNN. Dog claimed he didn’t know why Tucker sold him out, and he revealed to Larry that Tucker would “not talk to me.”
Dog has been married six times, and he told Larry that he was suspicious that Tucker’s mom, Lyssa Rae Brittain, had been involved in betraying him.
Dog said to Larry, “His mother’s in on it with him.” Lyssa Rae was Dog’s third wife, and Tucker was born in 1983 in Colorado. Dog and Lyssa broke up in the 1980s after their third child, Lyssa Rae, was born. Dog told Larry he believed his ex-wife wanted to “get even” with him.
If that sounds like Dog refused to take any blame for making such a tasteless comment about his son’s girlfriend, Reuters reported that Dog was “teary” when he appeared on Larry’s show and that he had “apologized repeatedly” and “promised to make amends” to the public.
Dog Said His Son, Tucker Chapman, May Complete ‘a 20-year Sentence … If He Messes Up’
Dog also confessed to Larry that he had “probably” been interfering too much in Tucker’s personal life, and when you hear what kind of a life Tucker had then, it’s another sad part about this story.
When Tucker was just 18 years old, he got jailed for committing armed robbery. Reuters confirmed that Tucker “served four years of a 20-year sentence.” Then, he was released on parole.
Dog explained that he “tried to take control” of Tucker’s life. He’s not only Tucker’s dad; Dog is an ex-con who managed to pull his life together, so perhaps he was only thinking of the best for his son.
But Dog also alleged that another person negatively influenced Tucker: his girlfriend. He told Larry that he “heard” she was “maybe not being the best for Tucker.” Dog added, “I’ll leave it like that,” but then he admitted, “So, I tried to interfere.”
Dog claimed he didn’t “care” about Tucker’s girlfriend’s ethnicity. He seemed to think she could be a bad influence, and he told Larry that Tucker would have to go back and complete “a 20-year sentence… if he messes up.”

Tucker allegedly sold the recording to the Enquirer for $15,000, but when Dog was asked about it, he wouldn’t comment.
But Dog told Larry that he wanted Tucker to know that “I love him very much.”
Tucker has remained out of the public eye recently. While there’s no confirmation of if or when Dog and Tucker ended this scandal or mended their relationship, Dog posted a message to Instagram in June 2022, and he had something to say.
Dog wrote on Instagram, “Happy birthday to my son Tucker Dee Chapman,” and he concluded with, “Love you, [son].”

Diddy has always claimed that he and Biggie Smalls were extremely close, but there are rumors that he might’ve had something to do with his untimely passing.

Why Biggie Smalls’ Mom, Voletta Wallace, Warned Her Son Not to Trust Diddy
But there was someone in his life that was warning him about Diddy right from the beginning.
Biggie’s mom, Voletta Wallace, said that she advised her son to be careful of the record label owner who’d just signed him.
In her 2005 book, Biggie: Voletta Wallace Remembers Her Son, Christopher Wallace, aka Notorious B.I.G, she revealed that she used to tell Biggie all the time not to trust Diddy.
So, right from the beginning of his career, he had someone in his life who was getting him to think about Diddy’s intentions and if he had any ulterior motives.
Then there was something else that could’ve made Biggie question if his friend really had his best interests at heart.
And it’s related to how he and Diddy first began working together.
According to Capital Extra, the pair’s origin story goes back to 1992, when Diddy arranged to have a meeting with Biggie after seeing him in a magazine.
Diddy supposedly offered him $25,000 for the record deal.
In her book, Voletta said: “That’s the amount Puffy lured my son with. That was a lot of money for [Biggie] back then as a nineteen year-old.”
Biggie would later come to find out that he was worth a whole lot more than that.
I mean, he reportedly ended up making MILLIONS for Bad Boy Records.
Voletta also wrote that Biggie thought he was getting both a friend and a mentor in Diddy when they first met.
She claimed that the alleged $25k Diddy offered him was enough money to make her son believe that he was ready to do anything for him.
It was enough to buy blind love and loyalty.
So maybe Biggie didn’t think that he was being taken advantage of at first, even though he allegedly wasn’t getting paid anywhere near as much as what he was worth.
But I think that he might’ve realized his value later on. And there’s a chance his loyalty towards Diddy weakened over time.
Was Diddy Upset That Biggie Was Leaving Bad Boy Records?
One that would’ve shown how he REALLY felt about Diddy.
And you’re never going to believe what the former bodyguard revealed when he went on Vlad TV.
He claimed that Biggie had talked to him about leaving Bad Boy Records and getting a multi-million dollar contract with another record label.
He said that he came across Biggie’s contract in Diddy’s briefcase when they were on a flight together.
And he noticed that it was Diddy who was getting the better end of the deal.
When he allegedly brought it up with Biggie, the rapper supposedly confessed that he had a new offer with a contract that would make him $62 million.
He supposedly wanted to take Lil’ Kim with him to the next label, too.
So, if that’s true, then he must’ve eventually understood that Diddy wasn’t 100% on his side, and that he was kind of being used by him.
A lot of news outlets like Capital Xtra have reported that Biggie’s life was taken from him during a drive-by incident that happened in 1997.
Diddy’s Former Bodyguard’s Shocking Confessions
But Gene Deal had some shocking things to say about that too.
According to HipHopDX, he opened up about what actually went down that fateful night in L.A. when he was interviewed on The Art of Dialogue show.
He explained that the popular belief that it was a drive-by that ended Biggie’s life wasn’t true.
Apparently, the car with the culprits inside was already waiting for his car to pull up.
He blamed this supposed false information on the police and the media for spreading that version of events, but he said that he was actually there, so he knew the truth.
He claimed that in every Biggie movie, they said it was a drive-by.
But as a witness, he said that the car was waiting there at the corner, and it was probably there all night.
Later on in his interview, he revealed that he’d been in another car with Diddy following behind Biggie’s car when they saw what happened, and that he ran to help him afterward.
He said that he saw Biggie lose his life while he was pulling him out of the car.
He added that he wouldn’t put anyone in his shoes, because he didn’t feel like they could’ve handled it.
He also claimed that Diddy told him that he didn’t need to go out with him that night, but he went because he just KNEW that somebody was going to meet their end.
He did everything in his power to stop it from being Diddy.
Then he added that the people that were guarding Biggie didn’t do everything in their power to stop it from being him— and that hurt him, even though it wasn’t his principle.
Biggie Smalls’ Mother’s Shocking Confessions
On the 20th anniversary of Biggie’s passing, Voletta spoke to the Daily Mail about how much she missed her son, and about something pretty sinister, too.
In a shocking confession, she shared that she believed the LAPD detectives knew who was responsible for taking Biggie’s life, but there was a cover-up to prevent it from getting out.
She said that they’d done their investigation, but they just refused to move forward.
She didn’t know why they hadn’t arrested who was involved, but she figured that it was one giant conspiracy, and someone was definitely being protected somewhere down the line.
Obviously, Biggie’s case has never been solved, but there are all kinds of theories about who was behind the crime that ended his life.
HipHopLately reported that some people have speculated it was Diddy’s fault, because he allegedly put a hit on Tupac, and Biggie’s life was taken in revenge by his rivals.
Others have suggested that it was Diddy himself who wanted Biggie out of the picture.
Which was apparently why he wasn’t in the car with him that night, even though they would often travel together if they were going to the same place.
One theory going around on sites like Reddit is that Diddy knew that Biggie was in talks with another label, and he didn’t want him to leave Bad Boy Records.
Biggie was reportedly supposed to perform in London around that time but had stayed to do an extra gig in California that Diddy had booked for him.

It’s something that people have called him out on in the past.
A report by The Guardian revealed that 50 Cent had claimed that Diddy was continuing to profit from the memory of his late friend.
In 2010, he created a Twitter petition where he said that Biggie’s name should never have become Diddy’s Black Card.
And he also asked: “When was the last time Diddy really was biggin up his brother, not biggin up his bank?”
Since Biggie’s passing, Bad Boy Records has released two posthumous albums by him, and both of them featured Diddy rapping on them.

Jelly Roll told Variety that it “wasn’t just bullying” that made him leave the internet until further notice. Shockingly, he revealed that social media has begun to feel like an “addiction.”
Honesty is definitely a word that can be used to describe Jelly Roll. He made an honest confession to Variety that he spends way too much time online. Jelly Roll admitted, “I was becoming too busy to waste hours of my life scrolling.”
According to Billboard, the snippet came from Bunnie’s podcast that was released on April 24th. She really got into the “painful impact” that online bullying has allegedly had on Jelly Roll.

Bunnie claimed, “The internet [thinks it] can say whatever they [expletive] want about you,” adding, “You’re a celebrity. You’re supposed to be able to handle it.” Then she issued her demand.
Bunnie said, “Enough is enough,” and, “Don’t bully people because you never know where they are mentally.” She also mentioned “a lot of people” online who are “not as strong as me” and who “don’t deserve to be [expletive] bullied.” So, was Bunnie talking about Jelly Roll?

Flavor Flav Stands Up for Jelly Roll
This sounds unbelievable, but Jelly Roll told Variety that another celebrity is fighting for him online, too.
That celebrity is the legendary clock-wearing rapper Flavor Flav from Public Enemy. Flav went after the Jelly Roll haters in a video and a written post on X, defending Jelly Roll while throwing major shade at the bullies.

In his video, Flav was even harsher toward the haters. He said, “How dare y’all try to judge my man about his weight and his character.” Flav added, “I think y’all need to take a step back and judge yourself.”
It sounds like Jelly and Flav are at the beginning of a beautiful friendship! Jelly called Flav a “sweet human” in his Variety interview, and he described Flav’s wife as “just [the] salt of the earth.”
Why Jelly Roll ‘Skipped’ Meeting Diddy
Jelly Roll said he’s met Flav and his “whole family” a couple of times, and he said they’re all “real, real salt of the earth.” Jelly seems to have a pretty good instinct about people, and shockingly, he admitted on a recent podcast that he “skipped” meeting Sean Combs last year because he had a “bad feeling” about Diddy.

Jelly Roll Said Toby Keith ‘… Was Like a ‘Mentor …’
Jelly Roll did admire the late great Toby Keith tremendously, telling Variety that Toby “never knew it,” but he was like a “mentor… just watching him from afar.”
Jelly Roll admitted that he’d been covering one of Toby’s hits in his concerts “for about a year now.” That song is “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” and this year, Jelly Roll has partnered with Amazon for a Toby tribute at the Stagecoach Festival.
Toby inspired Jelly Roll by putting “his personality into his music.” Jelly Roll also described his hero as “unapologetically Oklahoma,” who did things that “encouraged” and “empowered” Jelly Roll.
Jelly Roll was joined by his buddy T-Pain to record Toby’s hit for an Amazon Music Originals exclusive. The song dropped on the same day he and T-Pain performed “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” live at Stagecoach.

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi made a shocking confession recently. He admitted to cheating on his longtime wife, Dorothea Hurley when he was younger. So why did Jon cheat, and why did he want to reveal it now?
He’s been the superstar lead singer of Bon Jovi for decades. Jon reached the height of his fame in the crazy 1980s when scandalous stuff was considered “normal” in rock and roll.
In an unbelievable article published by Complex, Jon was reported to have said, “I’m not a saint.” He even claimed he had “100 girls” in his life at one point.
Complex was referring to Jon’s interview with Michael Strahan on an ABC primetime special, “Halfway There.” Jon is also promoting a docuseries to appear on Hulu called “Thank You, Goodnight.”
That’s when Jon told Michael, “I’m a rock ‘n roll star. I’m not a saint.” He claimed that life was “pretty good” back then, but Jon said that he was never “going to jeopardize” his marriage to Dorothea, even after he cheated on her with countless women.

Jon seemed to blame his cheating ways on his big rockstar ego. He gave into the rock ‘n roll lifestyle at the height of Bon Jovi’s popularity when the band spent years touring the world.
He told Michael that his cheating was “a stupid thing to do” and it was “just not worth it.” Then he praised his wife and said that Dorothea was never “afraid to call [him] out on something.” Jon also claimed that no matter where he went in his career, “the ups or the downs, we went there together.”
It sounds like Jon and Dorothea have made peace with his cheating past, but that might not be the case, according to Complex. The outlet wrote that Jon’s “assumed cheating revelations have reportedly infuriated his wife.” They added that Dorothea was “noticeably absent” when Jon’s docuseries was screened in New York City on April 25th.
Complex referenced a Page Six article. Page Six provided more shocking details in a report published the day after the New York screening.
Initially, Page Six alleged that Dorothea “skipped” the New York screening at the IPIC Theater after being forced to sit through Jon’s dirty confessions in a UK screening of his docuseries. Page Six added that Jon “walked the red carpet alone” in New York on a Thursday night.
But later in their report, Page Six admitted that a “source” told them Dorothea had to withdraw from the New York screening “due to an undisclosed illness.” Days later, Page Six reported that Dorothea allegedly had to deal with a bout of COVID.
At the New York City screening, Jon didn’t look like anything was wrong in his marriage. He also told the crowd what he would say to his “younger self,” and you need to hear this.
Jon said he would tell “younger” Jon “to enjoy the moment because the moments are fleeting.” Jon added, “I would have told that kid to look up once in a while and enjoy the ride.”

Apparently, Denzel saw the type of things that were going on there and knew it would only get worse. Before things had the chance to get as bad as he had predicted, he decided to cut Diddy off.

That’s not all. There were also underage girls whom Diddy would bring to entertain some of his guests. Diddy was also allegedly making his guests sign a non-disclosure agreement.
I could go on and on about the allegations against Diddy, but it wouldn’t make them any less disturbing. This wouldn’t be the first time someone spoke about the type of disturbing things Diddy is into.
Diddy Regularly Hosted “Freak-Offs”
Cassie had said it all when she had filed her lawsuit against him. The very same suit that I think we can all agree started Diddy’s downfall.
According to Cassie, Diddy would force her to be intimate with different guys so he could watch her. He would call these freak-offs, which is why his parties were given that name.
Now this has been something Diddy has been doing for a really long time. In 2015, one of Cassie’s close friends, Tiffany Red, revealed that she had seen Diddy force Cassie to leave her birthday party so she could get in bed with some guy he had bought for her.
When Diddy’s team got wind of this, the first thing they did was deny it all. That didn’t come as a surprise to anyone really.
This is where it gets interesting. After weeks of denying everything, Diddy decided to settle with Cassie outside of court so the case wouldn’t escalate beyond its current state.
A lot of people found this strange. If Diddy was as innocent, why did he settle out of court so quickly? He definitely has the money to prove himself innocent.

On May 7th, Billboard.com reported on a shocking statement from Lainey Wilson. In just a few months, Lainey’s name is going up on a major piece of real estate in downtown Nashville! This announcement came just days after country music fans on Broadway discovered that FGL House—Florida Georgia Line’s destination bar—had closed its doors for good.
Lainey won’t officially “own” the new bar, even though her name will be on it. Florida Georgia Line was in the same situation when FGL House opened in 2017.
Celebrity-branded bars have become huge in Nashville. TC Restaurant Group owns some of these bars. They license an artist’s name for the bar to attract fans to visit and spend money on food and drink.
Is Lainey a big enough star to get a celebrity-branded bar on Broadway? There is another darker side to this story. Following the tragic passing of Riley Strain in March, the Celeb Wives of Nashville shaded celebrity-branded bars in Music City.
The shocking twist in Riley’s case involved celebrity bars in Nashville. It’s now well-known that Riley and his fraternity brothers had visited several celebrity bars the night he went missing. Riley was “kicked out” of Luke Bryan’s branded bar in Nashville before he disappeared.
Broadway Bars Can be Dangerous for Unsuspecting Tourists
The full details and allegations surrounding that night remain unconfirmed. Riley’s mom alleged that he texted her and complained that he’d ordered a drink at one of the celebrity bars that “tasted funny.”
A thread appeared on the Celeb Wives of Nashville Reddit forum. Shockingly, the Celeb Wives started to talk about the dangers that unsuspecting tourists face in these bars on Broadway. One user even called downtown Nashville “a mess.” They alleged that people have slipped substances to others without them knowing it and claimed that people have been “robbed or pick-pocketed.”
On another Celeb Wives of Nashville subreddit, the OP claimed patrons showed up to FGL House during the first weekend in May to find a “closed” sign on the door. The social media accounts for FGL House have also been “deactivated,” which started a big discussion on the Reddit thread.
Shockingly, the OP alleged that FGL House was “moderately busy at best but wasn’t keeping up with” other branded bars. The Redditor even wondered if “we are starting to see the downfall of artist bars on Broadway.”
Lainey probably doesn’t care too much about anonymous users’ comments on Reddit. Her statement began by admitting how “excited” she was to announce Bell Bottoms Up, a branded bar owned by TC Restaurant Group that “will be opening later this summer.” She said she’s “always wanted to create a destination” for her fans and followers “to visit and create new memories at, in the heart of country music city.”
Lainey called Bell Bottoms Up a “permanent destination in Nashville,” which is also her “dream come true.” Lainey claimed that she “can’t wait for all my Wild Horses to get to experience my home away from home.”
FGL House Temporarily Laid Off Their Staff
One Celeb Wives user claimed to have inside information on why FGL House shut down without notice. That comment got other users chiming in.
The insider alleged that FGL closed so abruptly that staff had to be told what to do next. The user wrote, “I worked for TC [Restaurant Group] for years.”
They claimed that all artist-branded bars have “different licensing agreements.” Since Florida Georgia Line is no longer a “band,” their license wasn’t “renewed.”
They also alleged that FGL House staff were “temporarily laid off.” Ex-employees at FGL House were allegedly given the “option” to “interview” for work at the new Morgan Wallend-branded bar or “go on unemployment until Lainey Wilson’s bar opens.”
Another Celeb Wives forum member criticized the “celebrity-themed bar bubble” in downtown Nashville. They questioned, “Morgan Wallen? Lainey Wilson?”
One of the other Celeb Wives agreed that they’re tired of celebrity bars on Broadway. They added, “It doesn’t seem like there’s any sign of them slowing down.” This user also alleged they’d heard “rumors of Jelly Roll” opening a bar “from downtown industry friends,” although they couldn’t “claim any real credibility with that.”
The user also mentioned what’s already been confirmed: Luke Combs, Bon Jovi, and Shania Twain will have branded bars. That confirmation got another one of the Celeb Wives to ask where Shania’s bar was going. They added, “We need more girl power down there.”
Lainey’s Restaraunt Will Replace the FGL House
But not everyone on Celeb Wives loves celebrity-branded bars. One user confessed, “No hate to any country artist, but does anyone else miss the Old Broadway?”
The Billboard article described Lainey as a “Grammy winner and reigning CMA entertainer of the year” who is opening up a “three-story restaurant and bar in partnership with TC Restaurant Group on 120 3rd Ave. South,” replacing the “now-closed FGL House.”
Billboard also described what Lainey’s renovated bar will look like, which sounds pretty impressive! In addition to four bars and a lounge, there will be two stages, including a “first-floor stage and a dining area.”
The rooftop of Bell Bottoms Up will be “1970s western-inspired… with a dance floor, disco-inspired decor, and frozen drinks.” The “basement-level space” will be a look into Lainey’s “Louisiana roots,” including “craft cocktails” and another “live music space.”
According to Billboard, the menu will include “Cajun-inspired entrees and bar foods curated by Wilson.” Lainey is working with the “VP of culinary development” to include her favorite “salads, as well as crawfish, shrimp boils, and boudin.”
Grant Burlingame is the VP of operations at TC Restaurant Group. He claimed that they are “honored” that Lainey “trusted” them “to deliver a venue that is faithful to her story, fans, and love for country music.”
Grant seems to believe that Lainey’s bar will be a huge money-maker. He said, “Fans gravitate to Lainey” because she’s “authentic” and her personality is “down-to-earth.” Grant also calls Lainey “one of the biggest names in country music.”
He said TC Restaurant Group is “proud” to be associated with Lainey, as her venue will bring “another female artist to the forefront of Nashville’s Entertainment District.” In addition to Shania’s bar, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa is one of the only other country female-themed bars in Music City.
Some Celebrities Own Their Own Bars in Nashville
However, some users on the Celeb Wives Reddit forum prefer celebrity bars owned by celebrities. One user alleged that “Garth [Brooks] and Eric [Church] actually own theirs,” and “it’s not just a licensing deal for their names.”
But is Eric’s bar, Chief’s, really safer than any other bar on Broadway? Just days after it opened, Morgan Wallen surprised onlookers when he visited and allegedly threw a chair off the roof that narrowly missed two police officers stationed on the street below.
Unfortunately, crimes and bad deeds can happen anywhere. One of the Celeb Wives alleged that “a lot of nefarious situations happen on Lower Broadway.”
Although Riley Strain’s disappearance made worldwide headlines, one of the Celeb Wives claimed that bad things frequently happen on Broadway. They just are “not common knowledge” unless you hear a personal horror story or something bad happens to you.
They alleged that “professional pickpockets operate” on Broadway, as well as “gangs of cell phone thieves.” The user even claimed that local Apple Store employees have talked to plenty of tourists who need to buy new iPhones when theirs get “stolen” after a night in downtown Nashville.
Lainey Hosted a Pop-Up Event for Charity
People Magazine reported on May 7th that FGL House was officially closed on May 6th. Lainey was excited to tell her fans and followers about her new bar in an Instagram Reel on May 7th.
PR Newswire announced in March that Lainey had collaborated on a “My Bourbon Bar Pop-Up in Nashville” in April. The pop-up included Lainey-inspired cocktails like “Wildflowers Old Fashioned,” “Buckle Up,” and “Wild Horses Manhattans,” and she helped to create the recipes. So, was Lainey just getting a taste of what branding her own bar in Nashville would be like?
As PR Newswire reported, Lainey’s bourbon pop-up was actually a fundraising event for her charity, Heart Like A Truck. “100% of proceeds from the pop-up experience” went to various causes that Lainey supports.
Lainey was “so excited” that all the proceeds would “help give back to communities and organizations across the globe.” Let’s hope that Bell Bottoms Up is just as worthwhile an experience.
But Ming has been keeping her personal life out of the public eye.
She’s been more focused on her career.
Ming Lee Simmons Follows in Mother’s, Kimora Lee Simmons, Footsteps
She is following in the footsteps of her mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, who started out as a model and later went on to own and run her company Baby Phat.
The Observer described Ming as a model, businesswoman and content creator.
She has more than 1.5 million followers on social media.
Ming currently works with her mother at Baby Phat, the lifestyle brand that was founded in 1999.
According to the Observer, the company shut down after Kimora left it on September 1, 2010.
At the time, Kimora decided not to renew her contract with the parent company that owned Baby Phat, the Kellwood Company.
Russell Simmons, Kimora’s ex-husband and Ming Lee’s dad, had previously sold the company to The Kellwood Company for $140 million in 2004.
After Kimora left in 2010, the Kellywood Company sold the company to Sun Capital Partners.
They went on to sell it to an undisclosed buyer.
And then on International Women’s Day in 2019, Kimora announced that she had acquired the company once again, but wouldn’t reveal who she had purchased the company from.
Ming Lee Said “I Have a New Collection Dropping Soon With My Mom …’
Both Ming and Aoki were reportedly instrumental in the company’s relaunch.
In an interview with Refinery 29 last September, Ming explained that she had a new line launching with Baby Phat soon.
In the interview, she said,
“I have a new collection dropping soon with my mom that is fun and flirty. It’s made to make you comfortable and express yourself.”
Ming told Entertainment Tonight that she studied fashion in school, and she really loved working with her mom, so she was going to start there.
In her 2024 interview with the Observer, she said that she was basically a creative director at the company.
And what was cool about Baby Phat was that girls her age, like Ice Spice, were so into it, and her mom’s friends were also all about the comeback.
Ming studied fashion at New York University where she did an individualized study program that focused on fashion business and consumer behavior.
She described her time there as amazing, but she told Entertainment Tonight that because it was COVID, everything got shut down and everything moved online.
So her whole generation had a really hard time.
Ming Lee Simmons’ Modeling Career
Like her mother and sister, Ming has also worked as a model.
As well as modeling for her Kimora’s clothing collections, she’s also been a part of Kim Kardashian’s campaigns for SKIMS.
And for Kim’s sister, Khloe Kardashian’s Good American brand campaign too.
While speaking to W magazine, Ming said that she grew up on the runway, walking with her mom and sister at the end of every Baby Phat show during fashion week in New York.
She added that she’d been in ads with both Kimora and Aoki since she was 2 years old.
But it was only recently that she’d realized how uncommon that was, and she shared that she was deeply appreciative of those experiences.

Russell Simmons Cryptic Message Allegedly Meant for His Ex Wife, Kimora Lee Simmons
She hasn’t talked about her relationship with her father Russell Simmons in the same way though.
Last year she did share a social media post which US weekly described as a snub to him.
On Father’s Day in 2023, Ming uploaded a picture of herself with her mom, and praised HER instead of her dad.
Russell then took to his Instagram and shared a mysterious message which was allegedly meant for his ex wife-
“Stop telling fathers they should have fought harder to see their children and start asking mothers why he had to fight at all.”
Aoki responded to it the next day by sharing a video about her father in which she criticized him and his past actions.
The Simmons’ Public Family Feud
She claimed that he had bullied Ming, and that he once even sent a man to her apartment to scare her.
US weekly also revealed that Kimora joined in the public feud on social media when she shared an Instagram story telling Russell to leave her kids alone.
She said that his threats, lies, intimidation maneuvers and tactics were sad.
Russell eventually ended up posting an apology message to Ming and Aoki.

Ming Lee Determined to Carve Out Her Own Path

It’s definitely obvious that Ming is one of the quieter members of her family.

Russell Simmons’ Lawsuits
But things got even worse when he got sued twice at the beginning of 2024, just days apart.
First, he got sued by an unnamed former Def Jams Recording executive, who claimed that he SA’d her.
Then two days later, Drew Dixon, who is believed to be a second former Def Jam Recordings executive, sued Russell for defamation after she accused him of SA and battery and he claimed that she was making the claims for her own gain.
No one in Russell’s family, including Ming and Aoki, have spoken out about the claims against their father.
However, Russell did, in an interview on “In Depth with Graham Bassinger,” saying:

Five years after MTV reportedly fired her, the network has confirmed the news that Jenelle will be a part of the upcoming season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
They did this by releasing the first trailer for the series, and also through a press release which gave some more insight into the situation.
According to The Ashley, the press release emphasized that Jenelle is not currently a full time cast member.
Instead, she will be making a “special appearance” on the show.
This seems to align with what was being said in rumors for weeks before the release of the trailer featuring Jenelle.
Teen Mom Star, Jenelle, Said, ‘… It Will Be Good to Have a Fresh Start’
Sources had previously said that Jenelle would be returning to the show “in some form”, but was not involved for much of the filming.
In the trailer, Jenelle could be heard saying, “I think it will be good to have a fresh start.”
Reports from outlets like Page Six have suggested that the show will focus on the early days of Jenelle’s life after her split from husband David Eason.
During this time, Jenelle claimed that she had gone through some “life-changing moves.”
And it’s definitely true to say that Jenelle’s life has been pretty crazy since her relationship with David started to break down.
This was reportedly because the Teen Mom 2 star had made several calls to the local sheriff’s office since her split with David.
The Ashley first reported that officers were called to Jenelle’s place to deal with so-called “family issues” between her and her ex.
In one particular police report from last week, Jenelle apparently called the cops claiming that several personal items of hers had been stolen.
She went on to seemingly allege that the items had been stolen by David in February.
The report stated that Jenelle had called the authorities alleging that someone had taken her driver’s license, wallet and several of her credit cards, and was refusing to return them.
Jenelle told the police that she had been the victim of “larceny”.
Although she didn’t mention David by name, her description of the person who allegedly took her belongings matched his description, according to The Ashley.
In the police report, the offender is listed as a 35-year-old white male resident.
On a separate occasion, police were again at Jenelle’s home following what was called Family Offenses.
The suspect was listed as having the exact same description, once again allegedly resembling David.
The Ashley reported that both of the incidents at Jenelle’s home are currently listed as “active”.
Jenelle has made a lot of accusations about David’s behavior since filing for separation.
Jenelle Subjected to Harassment By Her Ex, David Eason
In a video posted on TikTok, she claimed that she had been subjected to harassment by her ex.
She said in the video, “He can continue to harass me, try to show up to my house every day with cops, text me horrible mean things every day, take my things.”
As she alluded to in the video, Jenelle isn’t the only one who has made contact with the police since the relationship ended.
David has allegedly called the cops at least once in the last few weeks.
Incident reports showed that he had asked officers to assist him with trying to retrieve scuba equipment from Jenelle’s house.
David Eason Aired Some of Ex-Couple’s Dirty Laundry
Like Jenelle, David has also taken to TikTok recently to air some of the ex-couple’s dirty laundry.
He claimed that the reason that he and Jenelle separated was really all about her.
David said, “Why did we split? Because Jenelle cheated on me. She’s been cheating for years actually.”
He also said that since the end of their marriage, he has been “so happy” to have his friends back, after Jenelle allegedly “pushed” them out of his life.
For her part, Jenelle reportedly filed for legal separation because of what she called “concerning and disturbing behavior” from David.
She also accused him of excessively spending her money, refusing to find work himself.
David and Jenelle were married for 6 years following 2 years of dating, and had their first child shortly after their wedding.
Jenelle’s Other Ex, Nathan Griffith, Gave an Exclusive Response
Jenelle has also had to deal with problems involving her other ex, Nathan Griffith.
Nathan reportedly spoke out about the alleged recent CPS investigation into Jenelle.
According to an online fan page, Nathan gave an exclusive response following the news that his Teen Mom ex is no longer being investigated.
In his alleged response, Nathan said that he “just wants what’s best for his son”.
Nathan is the father of Jennelle’s son, Kaiser.
When Nathan was allegedly asked by the fan page if he would be fighting for custody of Kaiser, he had this to say.
“I’m not in a position to go to court. I just want what’s best for my son. That’s all I want”.
He was then asked if he was disappointed that CPS was ending the investigation into Jenelle and her husband David Eason.
Nathan was reported to have said in response, “I’m not happy or mad. I think the agents did a[n] investigation and came to a conclusion based on the facts”.
The fan page asked Nathan when was the last time he had seen his son.
He allegedly answered that he had not visited his child in “over a year or more”.
When queried about the state of his co-parenting relationship with Jenelle, Nathan allegedly stated, “We’re stable, we don’t fight. We haven’t fought in a long time”.
Jenelle’s Controversial Return to Reality TV Show Teen Mom
However, Jenelle might find herself involved in confrontations with others due to her decision to return to Teen Mom.
The Ashley reported a few days ago that some of the other cast members were “very upset” to discover that Jenelle would be joining them.
It all started after a photo of Jenelle was posted on several media outlets last week.
The picture showed Jenelle hanging out in Florida with another member of the Next Chapter cast, Briana DeJesus.
No context was given for the photo, which was the first seed of the rumors about Jenelle’s return that have now been confirmed as true.
But after the photo emerged, a source from behind the scenes shared some gossip about some of the other stars’ feelings about Jenelle coming back.
The source first said, “Only a few cast members were aware of what was happening until the photo came out.”
What Some Teen Mom Cast Said About Jenelle’s Return to Show
They then continued, “Some of the girls are very upset that Jenelle is getting to be on Next Chapter, despite everything that’s happened.”
This could be down to the competitive nature of the cast selection, with spots on Next Chapter being highly sought after by other Teen Moms.
Some of the girls apparently expected Jenelle to make a comeback however, due to everything that’s happened to her lately.

An insider close to Jenelle talked to the US Sun about the situation.
And what they revealed was wild.
The source said that Jace wasn’t only committed to testify.
He was actually excited about being able to take the stand against David.
The source said, “Jace is adamant about going to testify. He can’t wait to take the stand, he hates David.”
The reason for Jace’s supposed hated for David relates to a shocking alleged incident that took place last year.
This was reportedly the third time Jace had attempted to run away from the house he shared with Jenelle and David.
The third time, he ran to his grandmother, Barbara Evans, and told her what David had allegedly done.
David Eason Charged With Child Abuse and Felony Assault
This happened after he was allegedly assaulted by David outside a neighbor’s home.
Jace will reportedly be testifying that David actually strangled him.
David was later charged with child abuse and felony assault by strangulation.
A court spokesperson revealed a little more about the ongoing case last January.
The source said, “They found enough evidence to take his case out of district court, where misdemeanors are held, and bring it to a superior.”
Alleged Assault Captured on Neighbor’s Camera
A couple of weeks before the alleged assault took place, In Touch had reported that Jace had been hospitalized for “mental health evaluation.”
While he was under care in hospital, some more disturbing events were taking place back in the family home.
Two days after Jace was recovered by police, sources reported that his mom and stepdad were under investigation by CPS.
This was because visible marks had been found on Jace’s neck and arm by medics.
Some of the evidence reported in the case seems pretty damning.
The alleged assault outside the neighbor’s home was reportedly captured on camera.
A Ring camera on the property reportedly recorded the incident, and was taken in by CPS and police for investigation.
David was accused of “willingly harming” and inflicting physical injury to Jace that caused “marks on the right arm and left and right side of the neck.”
Following the reports, David obviously became the focus of a lot of criticism.
Jenelle Evans Said, ‘… Forgot You Can’t Trust Cops …’
But Jenelle seemed ready to stick by her man through it all.
She was actually hit with a gag order as part of the CPS case due to her social media posts expressing support for David.
She had described the police investigation as “one sided.”
The reality star also wrote in a longer Instagram post, “They didn’t conduct interviews. Didn’t ask any information from the parents.”
She continued, “This seems like a very bias situation like every time before. I trusted the detective with all my heart. Forgot you can’t trust cops. Silly me. I do not trust anyone around me.”

It was pretty obvious that there was something about his homelife that Jace wanted to get away from.
Nothing has yet been proved about David.

Jenelle’s Controversial Return to MTV
Whether or not any of this will be covered in the new season of Teen Mom: Next Chapter, we will just have to wait and see.
It was recently confirmed that Jenelle would indeed be appearing on the show in a controversial return to MTV.
Five years after MTV reportedly fired her, the network has confirmed the news that Jenelle will be a part of the upcoming season.
They did this by releasing the first trailer for the series, and also through a press release which gave some more insight into the situation.
According to The Ashley, the press release emphasized that Jenelle is not currently a full time cast member.
Instead, she will be making a “special appearance” on the show.
This seems to align with what was being said in rumors for weeks before the release of the trailer featuring Jenelle.
Sources had previously said that Jenelle would be returning to the show “in some form”, but was not involved for much of the filming.
In the trailer, Jenelle could be heard saying, “I think it will be good to have a fresh start.”
Reports from outlets like Page Six have suggested that the show will focus on the early days of Jenelle’s life after her split from husband David Eason.
Jenelle Told Police She’s Been the Victim of ‘Larceny’
During this time, Jenelle claimed that she had gone through some “life-changing moves.”
And it’s definitely true to say that Jenelle’s life has been pretty crazy since her relationship with David started to break down.
In one particular police report from last week, Jenelle apparently called the cops claiming that several personal items of hers had been stolen.
She went on to seemingly allege that the items had been stolen by David in February.
The report stated that Jenelle had called the authorities alleging that someone had taken her driver’s license, wallet and several of her credit cards, and was refusing to return them.
Jenelle told the police that she had been the victim of “larceny”.
Although she didn’t mention David by name, her description of the person who allegedly took her belongings matched his description, according to The Ashley.
The list of charges against David continues to pile up.

The Family Vacation episode on May 9th shows most of the Jersey Shore cast enjoying themselves at a “group dinner” in Arizona, but someone was initially missing.
In Touch revealed that 35-year-old Justin and 37-year-old Sammi “were already in Arizona for the trip.” Then, Ronnie appeared to join the group seated at the restaurant. So, how twisted did it get?
In Touch said Justin was “cordial” as Ronnie approached him and Sammi. While In Touch claimed that Ronnie greeted “everyone” and “shook Justin’s hand,” they also revealed that Ronnie “did not interact” with Sammi. At least no harsh words were exchanged between these infamously bitter exes!
How Jersey Shore Cast Responded to Ronnie and Justin’s Encounter
But the rest of the Jersey Shore cast, including Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, had plenty to say about what happened between Ronnie and Justin.
Pauly D exclaimed that he “didn’t expect that to happen,” he seemed impressed with how Sammi’s fiance behaved when he admitted, “Justin is such a standup guy for doing that. I think that’s a really respectable move.”
Vinny Guadagnino admitted during the group dinner that he didn’t predict a friendly greeting between Ronnie and Justin, joking, “That wasn’t on my Bingo card.” Angelina Pivarnick sounded equally surprised and relieved when she commented, “That was nice.”
Sammi Giancola Said, She Made ‘The Right Choice With the Right Guy’
While Sammi didn’t “interact” with Ronnie at the group dinner, In Touch reported what Sammi said to Justin as Ronnie moved on to hug the rest of the cast. She simply told him, “You’re a good sport.”
Obviously, the Family Vacation producers pre-planned this meeting at the group dinner, but that doesn’t mean Sammi wanted it to happen.
She did a confessional on the episode to express her feelings about Justin and Ronnie coming face-to-face. She called Justin her boyfriend because they weren’t yet engaged, and Sammi confessed that her initial feeling was, “Ah, no!’ I don’t want my boyfriend and my ex shaking hands. Nobody wants that.”
But as her confessional continued, Sammi had a shocking change of heart. She revealed, “At the end of the day, I would rather have this be peaceful than one of the most uncomfortable, awkward situations.” Then Sammi praised Justin, too, saying how reassured she felt that she’d made “the right choice with the right guy.”
Ronnie Said, There’s ‘Better Chance’ of Becoming Friends With Justin ‘Before Me and Sam’
In Touch wrote that 36-year-old Vinny and Ronnie had a heart-to-heart the day after that group dinner, and Ronnie revealed that he had run into Justin again. What happened this time?
Ronnie explained he was at the hotel gym that morning, and Justin was working out at the same time. Did they have a confrontation?
According to Ronnie, Justin “said, ‘What’s up?’” and he answered, “Good morning.” He admitted to Vinny, “That was it.”
That wasn’t all that Ronnie told Family Vacation producers, though. In Touch reported just how Ronnie feels about Justin, and you might not believe this.
He told the producers that he thinks he has a “better chance” of becoming friends with Justin “before me and Sam.” Even Ronnie complimented Justin, claiming that the handshake they shared at the group dinner “showed maturity.” Ronnie added that he was “happy” that things went as smoothly as they did.
Will Sammi and Ronnie Ever Become Friends Again?
At least it sounded like Sammi and Ronnie could now agree on something: Justin is a “good sport” who showed “maturity.” Is there any hope that Sammi and Ronnie will ever be cordial to each other, even if friendship is out of the question?
According to In Touch, there’s little hope for Sammi and Ronnie to become friends. They spilled all the tea in an article published on April 11th about the “awkward reunion” between the exes at another Family Vacation destination.
The Jersey Shore gang went to Nashville for an episode of their reality show, and here’s a crazy side note: according to an MTV “tally,” the cast used the word “awkward” a shocking 237 times to describe the first meeting between Ronnie and Sammi since their explosive breakup in 2014.
The episode aired on April 11th, and Ronnie “joined the group” at their rental house in Nashville, just like he arrived later at the group dinner in Arizona.
Ronnie Wants His Reunion With Sammi to Be ‘Organic’
But as In Touch revealed, Ronnie had lunch plans with the boys after he landed at the airport and before he came face-to-face with Sammi again.
Ronnie joined Pauly D, Vinny, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino for a lunch huddle. Then, the guys returned to the rental house, where “Sammi was waiting in the living room.”
At least Sammi had her girl squad to back her up at the rental house. In Touch reported that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and Angelina were waiting inside with Sammi.
So, how did Ronnie feel in that dramatic moment? Shockingly, he claimed that he wanted his reunion with Sammi to be “organic.” He didn’t explain what he meant by that, and Ronnie even confessed, “I don’t really have a plan going into the house and seeing Sam.”
At least he did take the first step, go into the house, and say “hello.” Ronnie said beforehand, “I feel like I’m just going to be myself.” As the episode played out, Ronnie did seem like himself—at least he was to the other Jersey Shore ladies.
The ‘Cringeworthy’ Reunion Between Ronnie and Sammi
He gave “individual hugs” to Snooki, Jenni, and Angelina. But as In Touch reported, Sammi “remained seated” in the living room while Ronnie “made his rounds.” They couldn’t hide from each other forever, and finally, Ronnie “mumbled, “Hey, how are you?” to a silent Sammi. After that, In Touch wrote that Ronnie “moved on,” but then, they reported that the situation got “cringeworthy.”
Snooki gave a first-hand account in her confessional during the episode. She described the scene as “Ron… literally hugging everyone, and then he sees Sammi.” She said she thought to herself, “Oh my god, I wanna die,” and you can only imagine how Sammi felt when Snooki revealed, “It’s so cringe, I’m so embarrassed.”
In Touch described the “awkward silence” on the couch after Sammi and Ronnie’s reunion. Then, “the group went their separate ways to get ready for dinner.”
When she was alone with her girls, Sammi claimed that she felt “OK” seeing Ronnie again. Was that the real truth?
Sammi Said, ‘I Feel Nothing. He Doesn’t Affect Me …’
Sammi also confessed she “wasn’t expecting anything,” and while Snooki described feeling “cringe” and “embarrassed,” Sammi made a shocking confession about her true feelings.
She said, “I feel nothing. He doesn’t affect me. You guys are working on friendships. I have no need to work on a friendship.” Did Ronnie feel the same way?
Shockingly, Ronnie told the guys in another room that he felt it “worked out well” seeing Sammi again after all the scandals that ripped them apart. Maybe Ronnie was remembering their terrible past when he added, “[it] could have been worse.”
The Family Vacation producers tried to lighten up the awkwardness at the group dinner in Nashville with a spicy chicken eating challenge, and In Touch confirmed that Ronnie and Sammi “sat apart from one another.”
Thankfully, the contest worked for Sammi, who claimed, “I actually am enjoying myself.” She added that the “whole dinner and challenge” was a great “distraction” for her. Sammi claimed she wasn’t “worrying about anything or anyone” and was “just having fun.”
Sammi Confessed, ‘I’m Going to Explode’
But since this is Jersey Shore, fun isn’t always the most compelling entertainment for the viewers, and In Touch reported that “things took a turn” when Vinny decided to bring up “the infamous note” from season 2 of the OG Jersey Shore.
JWoww and Snooki wrote the note, and it spilled the tea about “Ron cheating on Sam in Miami” back in the day.
In Touch wrote that Sammi had been “able to joke” about the note before, but it seemed that Sammi didn’t want to bring up the past again in front of Ronnie in Nashville. Sammi snapped at Vinny that it wasn’t “funny,” and In Touch reported that Sammi looked “visibly annoyed.”
Later, Sammi recounted that disastrous part of the group dinner in a confessional. She felt that Vinny “really ruined it,” and it sounded like Sammi was at her boiling point.
She revealed that she had been “cool, calm, and collected about the whole Ron situation,” but she couldn’t take what Vinny did “lightly.” Justin was not on this trip, and hopefully, Sammi’s fiance can help her control her emotions going forward. After the group dinner in Nashville, Sammi confessed, “I’m going to explode.”
