Sammi Giancola has finally found her own sweetheart.
The news emerged in People magazine today that the Jersey Shore star has gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend Justin May. The 37-year-old shared her amazing news with a post on her Instagram account yesterday.
She revealed that she has actually been engaged for a couple of weeks now, as Justin actually proposed on March 16. In her post, Sammi wrote that Justin’s proposal was “the easiest question I’ve ever answered.” She went on to describe herself as the “happiest and luckiest girl in the world”.

Along with the caption, Sammi shared a series of pictures of the happy couple looking loved up, and some photos of her new engagement ring.
She added that she “can’t wait” to spend the rest of her life with Justin, before ending her post by assuring her followers that her news was “not an April Fools Joke”.

The news quickly spread online, and it wasn’t long before the comment section was filled with well wishers. Obviously, many of Sammi’s Jersey Shore family shared their happiness for their co-star.
JWoww wrote “congratulations” under the post, as did her own fiance, Zack Clayton Carpinello. People reported that among the commenters were her other co-stars Mike “The Situation”, Angelina and Pauly D. However, there was no report of Sammi’s Jersey Shore ex Ronnie sending his congratulations.
It doesn’t look like either Sammi or Justin will care much about that with so much good news to celebrate. Justin also took to Instagram to announce the couple’s engagement.
Along with more photos of the happy couple, Justin wrote, “She said yes! Can’t wait to marry my best friend. Love you so much babe!”
Sammi and Justin Got Together In July 2021
The couple first got together shortly after Sammi’s heartbreak at the end of her engagement to previous boyfriend Christian Biscardi. Sammi confirmed the split in a TikTok Q&A in July 2021.
A few months later, Sammi revealed Justin to her followers in a post on Twitter. She wrote “Happy Thanksgiving” next to a photo of the new couple holding hands.

In August the following year, Sammi celebrated her one year anniversary with Justin on Instagram, calling the last year with him “the best 365 days”.
But it looks like the two had actually been aware of each other for a long time before finally getting together. When Sammi and Justin first announced their relationship, Jersey Shore fans were eager to find out more about Sammi’s new man. It was revealed in Us Weekly that he actually used to work as a bartender in Bamboo Bar.
This is the nightclub that the reality show’s cast members often attended during the show’s initial run. Although we didn’t know anything about Justin back then, we’re sure to see a lot more of him in the near future as he prepares to become Mr Giancola.
