Once known as the rebellious royal son of King Charles, Prince Harry appears to be at a crossroads. Rumors are circulating that he has asked his sister-in-law Kate Middleton (Princess of Wales) for forgiveness. 

The unexpected news of Kate’s cancer diagnosis was broken just a few weeks ago. Harry apparently feels terrible about the broken family links and is anxious to rebuild them while the Duchess of Cambridge struggles with this scary health issue.

The previously unbreakable trio of Prince William, Kate, and Harry has seen its fair share of upheaval lately. Once Harry and his wife Meghan Markle left their royal responsibilities and moved to the United States, the disconnect between the brothers and Kate became much wider. Bombshell interviews and public criticisms over the last few years have pushed them even further apart. But Harry is apparently moved by Kate’s prognosis and is looking for a reconciliation. One can’t help but theorize exactly what’s going on with the royal family.

Prince Harry Wants Kate Middleton to ‘Forgive’ Him

Sources inside the royal family say that Harry wants to apologize to the Duchess of Cambridge after being profoundly affected by her prognosis. According to an insider, he has been contacting her to seek forgiveness and to try to mend their relationship. The once-carefree prince is apparently struggling with the fallout from his family and is starting to understand how important family is in the wake of Kate’s illness; whether part of the royal family or not.

Although the Duchess herself has not said much about her relationship with Harry nor his desire to reconcile, many close to her allegedly think she is amenable to rapprochement and values family more than ever.

King Charles Gives Harry the Cold Shoulder

While reconciliation could very much happen between Harry and Kate, it may not happen anytime soon for Harry and his father, King Charles. The king just turned down an invitation to meet with Harry while he was visiting the United Kingdom, according to reports from The Mirror.

Harry is reportedly feeling crushed and abandoned by the rejection, particularly in light of Kate’s health issue. 

“He was deeply shocked at his father’s blunt refusal to see him even for a moment,” said royal author Tom Quinn.

The public aspect of this rejection has probably made it all the more painful. The refusal obviously has a deeper meaning behind it, even if recent diplomatic statements have acknowledged the King’s hectic schedule since taking the throne. Harry and Meghan’s negative comments about the royal family in recent months have definitely made the tense bond between Harry and his father even more painful in both public and private.

Future Uncertain For Harry and The Royal Family

As Harry negotiates these choppy waters of familial reconciliation, it’s hard to tell if the family will ever be the same again. Many UK citizens and curious onlookers around the world are unsure about the future and whether Harry will be able to close the gaps already present.

Unquestionably, Kate’s condition has changed the relationships of the royal family. It remains to be seen if Harry’s appeals would inspire a rekindled relationship or be ignored. One thing is certain, though: Prince Harry faces many emotional obstacles on his road to atonement and reintegration back into the royal family, even if he continues to forgo political involvement with them. The future is anything but guaranteed, after all.

The Untold Truth On Reba’s Divorce

Reba McEntire is often considered one of the best female country singers, but her life hasn’t been all glitz and glam. The Drew Barrymore Show star has gone through a divorce and multiple breakups, which has left her with little support. 

Reba’s Divorce From Narvel Blackstock

Recent reports detail that Reba’s split from longtime husband Narvel Blackstock not only left her feeling empty, but he also emptied her wallet on the way out. 

The couple married in 1989 and stayed together for 26 years. However, Blackstock was Reba’s second husband after the actress/singer divorced her husband of nine years in 1987. 

Blackstock was Reba’s manager then, and the two hit it off. The pair had a child, Shelby Steven McEntire Blackstock and Reba became a stepmother to Blackstock’s three children. 

Unfortunately, the two split up in 2015 after 26 years of marriage. However, she does maintain a relationship with her three stepchildren. 

The divorce and the drama that followed were covered extensively in the media. However, Reba recently divulged some new details about the ending of her relationship. One of her complaints was that Blackstock was “all business.” 

Reba felt like Blackstock always had business on his mind and failed to put her first. Part of the problem goes back to the two starting as business acquaintances and him not moving into the role of a husband.

Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock’s Divorce Details  

Reba certainly doesn’t sound bothered by her divorce, as she previously said the pair continue to support each other. However, during an interview last year, Reba explained just how big of a hit she took in the divorce.

In the interview, she revealed having to pay $47.5 million to Blackstock. Today, Reba is reportedly worth $95 million, so the payout to Blackstock took a major toll on her finances.

Reba admits that the dollar amount wasn’t as big of a shock as losing her longtime manager. She acknowledged that Narvel Blackstock entirely handled her career and finances. 

Things went from bad to worse for Reba as two of her managers left, and her father passed away around the same time as the divorce. The sudden losses led many to worry about the star’s mental health as she navigated so much loss.

Reba’s Comeback

Despite going through a rough patch, Reba McEntire managed to stage a comeback. In the years since her divorce, she has appeared on several TV shows, played Colonel Sanders in a series of commercials, and launched a podcast. 

One of Reba’s most exciting projects is a comedy titled Happy’s Place, in which she will star alongside her former TV show cohort, Melissa Peterman. 
Although Reba went through a lot over the last decade, her career and life are finally getting back on track. She was allegedly dating actor Rex Linn and is still on good terms with her ex and children.

Ben Affleck was one of the most recognized and followed stars of the 2000s, but his career and personal life have seemingly fallen apart in recent years. Despite mounting a comeback in the 2010s with hit films, he has struggled significantly in the last few years with relationships and addiction. 

Ben Affleck’s Rise to Stardom

Ben Affleck quickly rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with roles in Good Will Hunting, Armageddon, and Pearl Harbor. However, his stardom didn’t last long because, by the mid-2000s, he was struggling to find success. He starred in numerous commercial and critical failures, and few people wanted to work with him. 

Adding to the frustration was Affleck’s emerging relationship with actress Jennifer Garner. The power couple was often featured on the cover of tabloids and continuously in the media. Some people attribute the fatigue with Affleck as an actor to the constant coverage of him and Lopez. 

After a period of declining popularity as an actor, Affleck entered the director’s chair, where he found renewed success. He went on to star in, produce, and direct Argo, Air, and Live by Night, amongst others.

Ben Affleck Noted Breakup With Garner Is One of His Biggest Failures 

Over the last few years, Ben Affleck has gone from being back on top to another downward spiral that he is still trying to escape. 

The actor struggled with alcohol addiction for many years and even discussed it publicly on several occasions. He has also gone to rehab numerous times, with a well-known trip in 2017. The following year, Affleck relapsed, which started him on a shocking downfall.

Then, the COVID-19 pandemic stopped movie ticket sales just as his film The Way Back entered theaters. Despite numerous shortfalls over the years, things started to look up for Ben Affleck in 2021 despite the pandemic still slowing movie production. The most notable was a brief rekindling of his two decades old relationship with actress Jennifer Lopez. The relationship quickly became one of the hottest entertainment stories of the year.

Things were also looking up for Affleck’s career as he starred in The Last Duel alongside longtime friend Matt Damon. Unfortunately, the movie wasn’t a major box office success, partly due to the pandemic still causing theaters to limit attendance. However, it did receive positive responses from critics. 

Will Ben Affleck Bounce Back? 

Ben Affleck has apparently managed to keep his alcohol consumption under control, with a few exceptions. However, many cannot see past his shortcomings, particularly the times that he cheated on his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. 

Nonetheless, he married Jennifer Lopez in 2022, and they appear happy despite a recent report that he was spotted without a wedding ring. 

Affleck’s career is also rebounding, with him set for acting and directing roles in several movies. Whether movie-goers will flock to theaters to see Ben Affleck on the big screen as they did decades ago remains to be seen.

    At just 20 years old, Sophie had never actually been on a date before. She turned up at her first outing with Joe Jonas surrounded by an entourage including her brother and her closest male friends. Apparently, she was worried she might get catfished (misled by an impersonator).

    Sophie told Vogue: “Joe had just DM-ed me on Instagram. I brought my brother and all my guy friends because I didn’t know if I was maybe getting catfished.” 

    Thankfully, their relationship was no fake and Joe actually proposed to her a year later. At 24, she became a mom too. But, things weren’t always comfortable for her once they moved to LA together.

    Sophie said of this period in her life: “You can’t just bump into someone at a bar there, you have to drive 40 minutes with an intention of seeing someone. There was a lot of attention on the three brothers, and the wives. Well, we were always called the wives, and I hated that. It was kind of this plus-one feeling. And that’s nothing to do with him – in no way did he make me feel that – it was just that the perception of us was as the groupies in the band.”

    As for their eventual split, Sophie acknowledged her disappointment with the situation, stating: “I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children. They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can. I’m confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that’s all that I can ask for.”

    Taylor Swift Supports Sophie 

      Sophie received support from an unlikely source in the form of Taylor Swift who offered her and her kids a place to stay in their time of need. Taylor is one of Joe Jonas’s former flames herself, but holds no hard feelings against him or Sophie.

      Sophie had this to say about Taylor: “Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year. I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me and provided us with a home and a safe space. She really has a heart of gold.”

      Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Still on Good Terms

        Despite the difficulties, both Sophie and Joe are still on good terms with each other. They even released a joint statement on social media confirming their separation had been amicable.

        Sophie dealt with a lot of media pushback and accusations of being an absent parent to her children, but she also had support from other working mothers whom she thanked in her interview by saying: “If something like this had happened to me 10 years ago I don’t think I would have had the same support.         JLo Exposed By Former Classmates

        JLo has released a documentary on Netflix called “Halftime” in which she goes over all of the things she went through as a young girl, growing up with her mother and siblings. But, some people have chimed with a different take on how her life really was before she was famous.

        In her documentary, Jennifer claims her childhood was tough and her mother was even tougher, going so far as to say she was beaten by her mother. According to the NY Post, her words were: “She [Rodriguez] did what she had to do to survive, and it made her strong, but it also made her tough. She beat the s–t out of you.”

        Did J-Lo Fake Her Hard Upbringing Backstory? 

          JLo‘s take on her childhood sounds rough and stressful, but commenters on the NY Post piece had other things to say about the matter. For one, they were nonplussed by her hardship claims. One commenter had the following to say:

          “A friend of mine attended a small catholic girls high school in the Bronx and Lopez was her classmate. I’ve seen the yearbook. Not only did she attend private school but her parents bought an ad in the yearbook that said, “We always knew you’d be a star!” Way before she was famous she had that level of family support. Her hard luck story is completely fabricated and mom is complicit.”

          Could Jennifer’s backstory be a bit far-fetched? Another commenter seemed to agree and had similar insights to share, stating:

          “Similarly, I have a friend who attended high school with Lopez. My friend described her as the epitome of a narcissistic, bullying, “mean girl,” the queen of the clique, and constantly belittling others.  It’s incredible how some people, who achieve well beyond what anyone should have the right to expect, still play the victim card. For what — attention?”

          Not Everyone Agrees About Her History 

            Clearly, JLo‘s story isn’t unanimously believed, but not every commenter was there to give her flack. Some even sided with her and offered up counter arguments for the star’s haters.

            One commenter posted the following: “I don’t get all the hate for JLo. I am sure she had tough times with momma, most daughters do. Especially daughters who don’t move into traditional roles. I also think JLo has been seriously dissed by the entertainment industry. 

            Not every project has been a hit, but she is very talented, and she has had longevity and cultural relevance for the last 35 yrs. That isn’t shabby. She hasnt had to compromise her scruples, she is a good mother, there is no real scandal to her. She is a respected business woman and spokesperson…I don’t get it. Could it be there is real hate for a successful Latina?”

            Most Agree It’s Time to Move on

              Besides the incriminating comments and the JLo fans standing up for her, there was a common third opinion being voiced in the comments section of the NY Post article on JLos new documentary – it’s time to move on.

              Some commenters expressed their desire to move beyond the star’s past and hoped she’d recognize how blessed she is to be in her position. 

              One person put things bluntly: “I don’t believe what she said for 1 second. She probably spanked her a couple times. But she has to jump on the victimhood bandwagon in order to try & drum up interest in her boring show.  

              Wish these poor ultra rich celebrities would quit whining. They have it so much better than everybody else & have these exalted opinions of themselves. They should keep their mouths shut & appreciate how incredibly blessed they are.”

              Shocking Similarities Between Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire’s Exes

              What do Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire have in common? Husbands who became their managers and are actually father and son, for one.

              They’ve also both been divorced from those same husbands, but with different results. 

              In Kelly’s case, her marriage to Brandon Blackstock lasted 7 years. Reba’s marriage to Narvel Blackstock, Brandon’s dad, went on for decades before they called it quits.

              Here’s how Kelly and Reba’s eerily similar relationships played out:

              Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock’s Marriage 

              Kelly and Brandon‘s marriage saw the two of them not only leading a romantic partnership, but a business one too. Brandon was Kelly’s manager and made millions off of her during their relationship. Some of his earnings from being her manager were later found to be illegal and he was ordered to return more than $2.5 million in commissions he’d wrongfully charged her.

              According to CNN, Kelly was ordered to pay Brandon more than $40,000 per month in child support, a one-time sum of $1.3 million and spousal support of over $100,000 per month as well (until January, 2024).

              In a radio interview for Apple Music 1, Kelly got real with listeners, admitting she didn’t handle her separation from Brandon Blackstock particularly well. She stated: “I don’t know how people get through anything like that because I’m not going to say I did it gracefully. Behind closed doors by myself, it was not.”

              Kelly had a lot to say about her relationship as well as her experiences with the divorce proceedings and aftermath. Her words were: 

              “I don’t know that there’s one moment. I think it’s gradual. And that’s what people tell you, too. […] I literally said to my therapist [before we were separated], ‘We’re trying to figure it out. I desperately want to make this happen,’ but I think I knew in my heart it just wasn’t going to. 

              It’s just sh—ty, and that’s where I’m at, and I don’t want to go through it. … Love makes you do really incredible things and incredibly stupid things. […] I think one thing that did help me is she was like, ‘You don’t have to attend every argument that you’re invited to.’ And that really stuck with me.”

              Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock’s Marriage 

              According to Nicki Swift, Reba was not keen on divorce from Narvel and asserted that she truly cared for him. She mentioned how important Narvel was to her in an interview on Entertainment Tonight in 1989. Her words were: “I’ve got to have that from someone I trust and I do trust Narvel explicitly. That’s why I married him. I love him and I trust him very much.”

              But, despite her affections, Narvel would go on to leave her after so many years of marriage. In a 2016 interview with Cody Alan, she pointed out how blindsided she had been by the divorce, stating “Well, the divorce was not my idea. I didn’t want it in any shape, form, or fashion.”

              Despite their breakup, the two actually announced that they would still work together as they had before. Their announcement read: “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time.”

              Like Father, Like Son? 

              Both Kelly and Reba had to pay their exes big money once they divorced. In Reba’s case, Narvel was paid an enormous $47.5 million, according to Yahoo. The fact that both father and son had similar relationships with talented singers that they cashed in on as managers is a little jarring. 

              Reba recounts their long marriage as having been “always business”, stating: “I think it works for some people. They can be married or have a relationship and work together. Our work was all the time. Our marriage was 26 years. We started out working together in the band. He was part of the band, and then became my manager, later on then my husband, but it was a situation that was always business — whether we were getting ready in the morning, pillow talk, whatever, but it was business.”

              Mike Wolfe is the star of American Pickers, a show in which Wolfe and his co-star (currently Danielle Colby, formerly Frank Fritz) travel around the USA in search of antiques, artifacts, and other treasure that they can purchase to either add to their own collection, or sell in their own shops. It’s currently on its 25th season and has been around since it premiered on TV in 2010, and has had nearly 400 episodes.

              Unlike many reality TV shows that dive deep into the private lives of the people on the show, American Pickers didn’t focus much on the stars’ personal lives. 

              Mike Wolfe’s New Relationship Since Divorce 

              As a result, several viewers and fans may not have been aware of the fact that the 59-year old Wolfe went through a divorce in 2020/21. In 2012, he married to Jodi Catherine Wolfe, but she filed for the divorce years later due to irreconcilable differences.

              But since the divorce, he’s found new love in the form of 45 year-old Leticia Cline, and the two have kept a relatively low profile, but have shared a few cute photos on Instagram with one another.               So who is Mike Wolfe’s new girlfriend? Well, Leticia Cline is a woman with a very interesting background that spans multiple industries and interests. Cline first began working as a model when she was a teenager, and then went on to earn both finance and psychology degrees from the University of Kentucky.

              Mike Wolfe Is a Supportive Boyfriend to Leticia Cline

              She also has had her hand in several other business ventures like opening a community motorcycle garage, running a bar with her family, renovating an old theater, and co-founding a food and beverage company. Cline also recently opened a new coffee shop called Ace Coffee Cafe in her hometown.

              Wolfe has been an incredibly supportive boyfriend, as he showed up and gave a speech when Cline’s coffee shop opened up. Cline first met Wolfe and became friends in 2018 as they bonded over a shared love for motorcycles, but after his divorce, the pair began dating at some point in 2021.

              Chilli Speaks Out On (Marrying) Usher

              Usher recently surprised the world by admitting that things did not go as planned when he first proposed to TLC’s Chilli. It was the early 2000s and she turned him down. He was heartbroken but as Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas has since explained, it all looked good from the outside, but ‘he had to be a certain way with me, and he couldn’t’. Sadly, back then, they didn’t share the same values.

              Why Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas Rejected Usher’s Marriage Proposal

              Chilli, then a member of the iconic pop group TLC, captured the hearts of an adoring public. Everyone was rooting for her in her quest for love and romance with Usher. Their relationship ran from 2001 to 2004 until ‘trust issues’ forced them apart. Although the romance didn’t stay the course, nearly two decades later there was still a connection.

              According to an insider responding to Usher’s revelation, even then Chilli had a deep respect for marriage. She was convinced that if she married Usher, it would end in divorce. To her way of thinking, not marrying him at all would be better than facing that sort of heartbreak.

              Back in 2004, the song themes in Usher’s album ‘Confessions’ invited speculation and sparked rumors of his infidelity. Songwriter, Jermane Dupri fanned the flames when he revealed that it had been inspired by Usher’s personal life. Chilli firmly put these rumors to bed years later in 2013, telling US Weekly that she and Usher had still been together when the album came out and it was not about their relationship but about Dupri’s own. Usher had just been the singer.

              When Chilli finally cut ties with Usher, she stopped dating too, as she explained in an interview with People in June 2023. She was worried that if she did meet someone, she still wouldn’t be over Usher and ‘it wouldn’t work’. Even after they split, they’d meet up when they weren’t in other relationships. The love story wasn’t fully over until 2019 when Chilli decided enough was enough, she needed to focus on herself. 

              Chilli and Usher Found Love Again 

              They have both found love since. Usher married fashionista Tameka Foster in 2007 and had two children with her before they split in 2009. After a drawn-out custody battle, Usher was given full custody although they co-parent now. He remarried. This time to Grace Miguel whilst on vacation in Cuba in 2015, but it didn’t last long and came to an end in 2018. In 2019 he began dating Jenn Goicoechea, a successful industry executive, and became a father to two more children born in 2020 and 2021. Their Las Vegas wedding surprised family and friends.

              Chilli found her match too, Boy Meets World actor Matthew Lawrence. They started dating in November 2022. At 42 he is much younger than her, but it is by her account a ‘drama-free relationship’ and as she told it to People, she had never experienced anything like it before. When asked if she had found her ‘forever partner’, she replied, ‘Absolutely’.

              Richard Gere’s Wife, Alejandra, Said, ‘Our Karma Was Attracted’

              The romance was slow in blooming. Silva, who runs the nonprofit Rais Foundation combatting homelessness in Spain, first met Gere when she was in her 20s. He was already in his 50s. The actor dated many beautiful women and he was married to a supermodel, Cindy Crawford (1991-1995), and actress Carey Lowell (2002-2006). He happily stated that he’s now married to a beautiful, intelligent woman, who is sensitive and fun, patient and forgiving and committed to helping others. He also added that she was a great cook and made the best salads in the world. Well, the way to the heart is through the stomach.

              Their first son, Alexander was born in February 2019 when Gere was a young at heart 69-year-old. A little over a year later, in April 2020, the second arrived. Both already have adult sons, Gere had Homer with Carey and Silva had Albert with her previous husband, Govind Friedland.

              On their third anniversary Silva took to Instagram to proclaim her lasting love for Gere, ‘the most wonderful man’ she had ever met, the love of her life. She told the world how proud she was to be with him. Without doubt, she has been a pillar of support, even accompanying Gere to his red carpet events. The glimpses we have of them via social media seem to bear witness that the age gap has made no difference and they are truly a happy couple.

              Clarkson’s 2022 divorce from Brandon Blackstock, her husband of nine years, has also left a lasting impression on her. It was a rollercoaster split that the star didn’t see coming, and the stress of legal proceedings concerning custody of their children, son Remington Alexander and daughter River Rose, and ownership of their Montana ranch took its toll on her.

              In a 2023 Instagram Live video, she said she may remain “single forever” after the experience.

              Clarkson is currently on a journey of self-healing, including a relocation to New York, which she loves. In another 2023 Instagram Live video, she said it had helped her regain her footing and peace.

              She even told her Instagram followers, “Do I have a boyfriend? No! And not looking. You know why? I love being single.” She also said, “I have two kids, two dogs, three rabbits, a hamster, multiple jobs — there’s a lot going on.” So maybe she doesn’t have time for a boyfriend anyway!

              Should the hugely talented performer look to find love again, we hope it’s with someone who loves her and helps her trust men again. We wish her all the best in that regard. Kelly Clarkson deserves to find the utmost happiness, whatever that looks like for her.
