The Tragedy of Garrison Brown

Garrison Brown, the son of Janelle and Kody, was found deceased at his home on March 5th, at the young age of 25.

The cause of his death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. But how did everything with Garrison and the Brown family end in such a horrific tragedy?

On the most recent season of Sister Wives, Garrison played a big role on the show alongside his brother, Gabe. The two were frequently featured discussing their fractured relationship with their father, Kody, and how it led to the breakdown of their parents’ marriage.

Garrison and his Brother Gabe Were at Odds with Dad Kody Brown

While all of the adult children were allegedly at odds with Kody due to his Covid-19 protocols, Gabe and Garrison were arguably the most vocal about it on Sister Wives.

Gabe spoke out about the argument on the show, saying:

“Me and Garrison are at odds with my dad because when we expressed our discontent at how things were going with COVID, I was just met with a wall. And there was no line of dialogue. I think that that is what really drove the wedge between us.”

Both of the boys called Robyn to complain about her control over Kody, which ultimately started a public feud and cut off communication between Kody, Gabe and Garrison.

Fans of the show watched for years as Janelle described just how difficult her children’s estrangement from their father was.

Janelle Worried About Her Sons’ Mental Health

On an episode from October 2023, Janelle specifically spoke about how she worried for their mental health, saying:

“I have worried about my boys’ mental health. Gabriel feels everything very, very deeply. But he’s also the kid who doesn’t say anything. [Garrison] just seems angry or sadder, like, he’s not as happy-go-lucky as he used to be.”

She also spoke out about how Kody’s affinity for Robyn played a big part in their feud, saying:

“They have, for a long time, perceived that Kody’s focus, you know … his time, everything … was spent, the majority at Robyn’s house, even when we lived in Vegas. They feel like there’s been a real preference for Robyn. And so, this thing with COVID now – where he’s at her house because she’s willing to follow his rules – they are a little bit suspicious.”

In one of the more recent episodes, Garrison expressed his frustration with the entire situation directly.

He met with Janelle, Christine, Gabe, Janelle’s daughter, Savanah, and Christine’s daughter, Gwendlyn, to discuss the estrangement at Garrison’s house. He said: “You know what Robyn? Have him. We’re all grown adults who don’t need a father figure anymore.”

His siblings who were present seemed to agree with him.Aside from his tumultuous fight with Kody, he seemed to have a happy, full life.

Garrison Adopted a Cat Five Days Before His Passing

He adopted three cats that he posted about frequently on his Instagram, including one that he adopted just five days before his passing. 

In his adoption announcement, he wrote:

“Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons. She’s 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn’t suffice. #crazycatlady”

He also was a member of the Nevada Army National Guard, enlisting when he was just seventeen.

In 2019, he started an online clothing store called “Bob’s Florals,” where he sold Hawaiian shirts.

It’s unclear if he was still dating his girlfriend at the time of his passing, but his relationship with his girlfriend was a source of conflict for Kody and Garrison during the pandemic.

Kody claimed that Gabe and Garrison weren’t following the pandemic protocols he had in place because they wanted to see their girlfriends.

Meanwhile, Gabe and Garrison claimed that they weren’t following the pandemic protocols because they had to go to work. 

Garrison specifically was saving money to buy a house in Flagstaff, which he eventually did.

It’s Been a Tumultuous Few Years for the Brown Family

It’s been a tumultuous few years for the Brown family, and now after the tragic passing of Garrison, it’s taken an unexpected turn.

In 2021, Christine decided to leave her marriage with Kody, and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, which began the unraveling of the Brown family as we knew it.

In just a couple years’ time, two of his three remaining wives, Janelle and Meri, decided to leave their marriages as well.

Janelle specifically said that a big reason for her decision to leave Kody was his treatment of their children together.

Since then, all three of the ex-wives and their respective children seem to be estranged from Kody.

However, it seemed like those who were estranged from Kody and Robyn seemed to remain close to each other.

Christine got remarried to David Wooley in October of 2023, and almost all of the kids attended, including Garrison.

What Happened to Johnny Cash’s First Wife?

Johnny and his first wife seemed really happy together. But then everything came crashing down around them when Johnny did something really bad to her, and you’ll never believe what happened to her.

Everyone loves the story of Johnny Cash and June Carter. But before they met, Johnny was actually married to someone else. It was during the summer of 1951. Johnny was an Air Force recruit stationed in San Antonio. He went to a roller rink one night and met Vivian Liberto.

How Did Johnny Cash Meet His First Wife, Vivian?

But exactly HOW they met is up in the air, because Johnny and Vivian told their kids different versions of how they met. Vivian and Johnny’s first daughter, Roseanne, heard it this way from her dad: After Johnny caught a glimpse of Vivian, it seemed like she roller-skated right into his heart.

According to Roseanne, Johnny made a bet with his friends at the rink. He said that he’d be walking Vivian home that night. That’s super cute… until you hear the OTHER version. Because Johnny told Roseanne’s three younger sisters something completely different.

Johnny told the other kids that he knocked Vivian down on purpose when he roller-skated by her. Before you think worse of Johnny, he also told his younger kids that he only bumped into Vivian so that he could help her up and get talking to her.

For three weeks after that, Johnny and Vivian kept going on dates. But then, reality hit — Johnny got shipped off to Germany with the Air Force. No one thought that their three-week-long romance could possibly survive, but despite that, Johnny and Vivian’s love story continued.

They actually sent each other over ONE THOUSAND letters, which their kids still have. Those letters are priceless… and they also reveal some unbelievable things. Like how Johnny started signing off his letters to Vivian: He would write to her: from your husband-to-be. At that point, it was really sweet, but those were just words.

Johnny Proposed to Ex-Wife Vivian Through a Letter

But that all changed one day when Vivian got another letter from Johnny that shocked the life out of her. I can only imagine Vivian opening up that letter and seeing what was there. It contained a diamond engagement ring. That ring had traveled from Germany across the ocean for Vivian to put on her finger.

July 1954 was a happy time for Vivian. Johnny’s military service in Germany ended, and he flew back to West Memphis. Vivian was waiting at the airport. She hadn’t seen Johnny in three years. When Vivian looked at Johnny, she said she was speechless. They ran into each other’s arms.

Johnny scooped her up and they kissed passionately. By August 1954, Johnny and Vivian were husband and wife. Their happily ever after didn’t exactly last very long though.

Johnny took a boring salesman’s job, but the 9-to-5 grind wouldn’t last for him. Shortly after their wedding, Johnny auditioned for Sam Philips at the famous Sun Records in Memphis. You won’t believe what Vivian called that moment afterward.

Whether or not it was just a gut feeling she had, Vivian called Johnny’s audition the “one hour that would change everything.” And when Vivian said everything, she meant it.

Their first child Roseanne was born. Then, Johnny released his first single on Sun Records. It got crazy busy for Johnny, going out on the road. Vivian got left home with Roseanne, while Johnny let early success go to his head. Johnny’s new life included other women, too much to drink, and other substances that were just really bad for him.

Johnny’s star was rising, and he started to ignore that his marriage was crumbling. When Johnny did make it home, he and Vivian didn’t waste any time. Eventually, they had three more daughters. Johnny moved his young family to California in 1958.

But he didn’t stick around too long at home. He left again to sing hit songs and star in movies. Vivian got left home in California with four kids to take care of by herself yet again. Roseanne said later that her dad was absent most of the time.

Every time Johnny did make it home, he and Vivian threw big parties and BBQs. Roseanne didn’t know any of them when she was a kid, but many country music stars came over to party back then — and Roseanne did get a weird feeling about one lady who was good friends with her dad.

Roseanne Cash Has Spoken Out About Her Childhood

Her name was June Carter. Roseanne has said that she sensed something was wrong at home. Vivian was terribly sad. Sometimes she got furious and acted out. Roseanne was a young child, and she was frightened. It’s honestly pretty shocking to hear what Roseanne has said about her childhood.

She apparently figured that her mother would hurt herself badly enough to end it all. And with her dad barely ever around, it’s unbelievable for a kid to grow up feeling that way. 1965 was a bad year for Johnny, but nothing compared to what happened to Vivian.

Johnny got arrested in Texas. The newspapers were all over his awful news. A photo got published with the story of Johnny’s arrest, but it was just one little photo that shocked the world. The rumor mill went crazy. The photo had nothing to do with Johnny’s arrest or any real crime.

All it was was a picture of Johnny and Vivian — and all the hate groups had a meltdown. By the way, there is one important detail you should know about Vivian: She grew up thinking her family was a mix of Italian-American, Irish, and German.

Unfortunately, the bigots who saw Vivian in the photo thought that was a lie, because they thought that Vivian looked Black, and they went crazy. Johnny had a huge Southern fanbase. There was such an uproar among the bigots that Johnny had to cancel concerts across the south.

But that’s nothing like what Vivian had to go through. Back home, alone in California with four innocent young girls, Vivian was receiving threats to her life. She was afraid for herself and her kids. I don’t know how Vivian managed to do this, but somehow, she waited until things got quieter again.

Vivian Filed for Divorce and Johnny Didn’t Even React

And then Vivian did something unbelievable She filed for divorce from Johnny — and her reason for the divorce was shocking and so sad. She’d hoped that the divorce would make Johnny come home and try to save their marriage. But what Johnny did was more shocking…

He didn’t reach out to Vivian. He didn’t even say anything about the divorce. Johnny didn’t even come back to California to see Vivian or his kids. He moved north of Nashville to an apartment with his buddy, Waylon Jennings, and if the rumors are true, Johnny and Waylon got up to no good for a while.

Finally, Johnny wised up. He moved into a lakefront property in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Johnny only had one concern in mind: He wanted his girls to visit him, so he stayed in that lakefront house and waited.

Eventually, Johnny got clean, and everything became clear to him about Vivian. Johnny realized that the divorce was meant to save his reputation with his fanbase, and Vivian was really putting herself on the chopping block to save Johnny.

Because Vivian was raised in the Catholic church, and in the 1960s, a broken marriage was like a dirty mark on Vivian’s soul. The church EXCOMMUNICATED Vivian as if she’d committed some mortal sin. Even worse was how Vivian’s family treated her.

Her dad was strictly religious and didn’t pity Vivian or believe her reasons for getting a divorce. If anything good came out of that, it made Johnny start acting like a real man. Because Johnny felt terrible about how he’d treated Vivian, he wrote a painful letter to the head of the Catholic church who knew about the divorce.

Johnny took all the blame for the breakup of his marriage. I mean, he put it ALL out there. He admitted to everything that he’d done wrong to his wife, how he’d gotten hooked on substances, his infidelities, and how he was never at home for his kids.

Vivian’s Church Took Her Back In and She Ended Up Remarrying

Maybe it wasn’t a happy ending for Vivian, but the church took her back in, and her dad finally came around. After their marriage ended, Vivian got her own house and lived with her daughters. She actually became very private, but helped out in her community and enjoyed gardening.

Eventually, something surprising happened to Vivian. It involved a police officer His name was Dick Distin, and he married Vivian. She maintained a quiet life until she passed away in 2005. Life wasn’t easy for Vivian, but I think she did her best for her family and Johnny.

16 and Pregnant Star Sean Garinger Dead at 20

Sean Garinger, who appeared in season 6 of 16 and Pregnant, has passed away at the age of 20. People magazine reported yesterday that the reality show star lost his life following a horrible accident involving an All Terrain Vehicle. Sean was best known for his time on the MTV show with his former partner Selena Gutierrez, with whom he shared two children. 

It took several days before Sean was named in local outlets as the victim of the accident. The tragic news was first confirmed by his mom, Mary Hobbs.

She told the US Sun that she was with him when the accident occurred. Mary said, “He was just moving [the ATV] from one parking spot to the next for me so I could back into park.”

She went on to tell the horrifying story of how Sean went to park the ATV, and “the ground gave way from all the rain and mud.” This caused the vehicle to flip, landing on top of Sean. 

Mary went on to say that she “ran to the neighbors” to try and get help. However, no one answered her calls. The forty-year-old then said, “I just laid next to him until the ambulance showed up.”

The Boone Fire Department responded to the accident, as well as the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office and Medics. The Sheriff’s Office later stated that their “hearts were heavy with sorrow” for Sean’s family and loved ones. 

Things Had Gotten Better Between Sean and Selena

The Sun reported that Mary and Sean had only just returned from the car dealership before the accident happened. They had reportedly visited the dealership to try and buy Sean a car so he could drive to Colorado, where Selena lived with his two daughters.

The former couple’s relationship problems were captured in the sixth season of 16 and Pregnant in 2021. 

At one point during the show, Selena claimed that Sean had been unfaithful to her while she was pregnant with their first child. They also got into a fight that allegedly led to Selena’s arrest before they later split up.

At the time of his passing, both Sean and Selena were reportedly seeing other people, according to a family insider. The same source also claimed that more recently things had been better between the two. 

They told the Sun, “Sean got close to Selena’s family these past few months – his mom and Selena’s mom, and Sean and Selena’s brother Ricky.” The source added that Sean had visited Selena’s family “literally a week” before his passing when he saw his daughters. 

Selena was reportedly “not in a good place” after learning of the horrific accident. Although the Sun tried to reach Selena for comment, she has so far not responded. Mary described her son as her rock and called him “my strength when I had none left.”

A few days ago, a service to honor Sean’s life was held. His family also requested that instead of flowers, contributions could be made to any homeless shelter in Sean’s memory. 

Janelle Brown Reacts to Son’s Death

On March 6th, The U.S. Sun updated its report on the tragic passing of 25-year-old Garrison Brown and his mother, Janelle Brown’s “angry and numb” reaction to the devastating news.

An exclusive source told the Sun about Janelle’s current “state of mind.” The source claimed, “I’ve never heard her so angry and numb.” They added that Janelle has clearly not processed what happened, insisting that Janelle “doesn’t even know which end’s up.”

The source provided insight into Janelle’s personality, sharing that she’s not known to be “a crier or an emotional person.” But they revealed that Janelle is “very angry right now,” and they revealed another shocking detail about how Janelle allegedly feels.

Janelle Brown Is Reportedly Questioning Herself

Although the source claimed it “takes a lot to get her to break,” they believe Janelle is now questioning her life and parenting. Shockingly, they think Janelle is asking herself, “What the heck happened? What did I do wrong?”

Janelle has spoken out herself, posting a sad message on Instagram that included two photos of Garrison. In one photo, Garrison appears in a military uniform. The second photo is more informal, showing Garrison with a big smile and wearing a backpack as he travels somewhere.

Janelle expressed the deep sadness she and Garrison’s father, Kody Brown, felt in having “to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown.”

It was heartwrenching to read Jenelle’s description of Garrison: “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.”

She also asked for compassion from the public, writing, “We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.” Kody also shared Janelle’s message and photos of Garrison on his Instagram.

Janelle and Kody have six children together, including Garrison. Their other sons are Logan, Hunter, and Gabriel; their daughters are Madison and Savanah.

The Sun’s source revealed, “This family is extremely broken and tortured, and it’s very painful for many of them.” The source also claimed that Robyn, Kody’s fourth wife, is “the one who’s actually really upset about it,” adding that Robyn is “really devastated.”

Garrison’s Death Is a Tragedy for the Entire Brown Family

The Sun received confirmation that Garrison was living in Arizona when he passed away, and they also contacted the Flagstaff Police Department in Arizona for an official statement on March 5th, when the incident occurred.

The statement by the Flagstaff Police representative said, in part, “It is with great sadness I confirm Mr. Robert Garrison Brown was located in his residence deceased.” They also confirmed that Garrison passed away using a weapon, and his wound was self-inflicted.

Shockingly, Flagstaff Police confirmed that Garrison’s brother had discovered him inside his home. The statement identified the sibling as Gabe, presumably Gabriel’s nickname.

While no source has come forward to blame Janelle or Kody for Garrison’s passing, The Sun did report that Kody and Garrison were allegedly “feuding” before he left home and moved to Flagstaff.

The Sun claimed that Garrison had “a difficult relationship with his dad,” and they even alleged that Garrison “was not on speaking terms with his father” after he moved away in 2021.

Kody and Garrison’s estrangement allegedly began during Thanksgiving 2021, and the Sun reported that Kody restricted the family’s Thanksgiving celebrations due to COVID-19.

An episode of Sister Wives showed Kody telling Janelle that she should spend Thanksgiving alone because he believed their sons had seen “too many people and would put everyone else’s health in jeopardy.”

This caused a fight between Kody and Janelle that was shown on air, and shockingly, Janelle swore at Kody after telling him she didn’t want to be alone and stormed off.

Janelle Picked Her Kids Over Kody

In a confessional on the show, Kody said that Garrison needed to get his life together and he should move out. Kody claimed, “I tolerated a lot for a very long time until I realized that I was being lied to or deceived.”

He added, “I sort of lost my patience with it; I’m like, you just need to make the boys move out,” and he later said, “I’m gonna have Gabriel and Garrison move out of the house. You’ve got a good car, you go get a job, here’s some cash. Bye.”

But Janelle had a different perspective, and in a confessional, she stated, “This is a different day and age. You don’t just kick your kids out of the house at 18 and say, ‘Hope you do good, I’m done. I’m tired.’”

The Brown family’s strained relationship peaked near the end of 2022 when Kody called Garrison out on X and alleged that Garrison had a “narcissistic attitude.”

Sadly, Kody would later reveal that Garrison told him, “This is your fault. I’m never going to be around you again,” and even more sad, Janelle defended Garrison and alleged that he said, “I don’t like how my mom is being treated in this house; how we’re being treated in this house.”

In 2022, the Sun reported that Kody and Janelle’s “parenting battles” were finally over, and they broke up for good after 29 years of “spiritual marriage.”

Usher Receives Backlash for Visiting Russell Simmons in Bali

Usher is getting some negative criticism after his recent vacation. The Source reported that the megastar received backlash after he was spotted enjoying yoga with disgraced music mogul Russell Simmons.

Their meet-up was captured and shared on Instagram Stories, according to the Daily Mail. In the clip, set to a song by Beyonce, Usher was seen exercising and meditating in Russell’s Indonesian home. 

The footage was first shared on Russell’s Instagram, where he went on to celebrate what Usher’s friendship meant to him. The video appeared to show Russell leading the yoga class that the singer was in, according to the Mail.

The Grammy winner was joined on his trip by his wife, Jennifer Goicoechea, whom he married in Las Vegas following his Super Bowl performance. 

Russell has been the subject of severe allegations about his conduct that first emerged in 2017. Recently, several more women came forward and made allegations against him.

Since the accusations were made public, Russell has gone on record about the friendship he continues to share with Usher. He said that when he was at the “lowest point in his life,” Usher was still by his side. 

Russel went on to say, “I had known Usher since he was a kid, but we really bonded because of our mutual love for self-discovery.” He added that they shared a “belief in Yogic science as a direct route to realizing God’s consciousness in ourselves.”

Russell also talked about how Usher’s friendship, which continued after the allegations, had affected him emotionally. He told people to remember that “a friend walks in when others walk out.” He would “never forget” Usher’s “generosity of spirit” at that time. 

Usher Quickly Received Opinions from the Public

After the post was shared, people were quick to voice their disapproval at Usher’s continued association with Russell. One user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, “He should’ve not been in Bali with Russell Simmons.”

Another user said that the fact that Usher had pictures taken with Russell at the yoga class was definitely a “choice.” They went on to suggest that it was very unlikely that the singer was unaware of the allegations made against his friend. Usher also posed with many others during his Bali trip, including pictures with his new wife and more selfies with Russell in his house.

Teen Mom Jenelle Files to Separate From David

The U.S. Sun exclusively reported on March 4, 2024, that Jenelle Evans is allegedly separating from David Eason. Jenelle’s alleged court filing claims that David’s “erratic behavior” and “refusal to work” are influencing her decision to separate—but that’s not all.

The Sun reported Jenelle’s allegations that David ruined her reputation and cost her employment opportunities. Allegedly, Jenelle is also blaming David for drinking so much that it’s made her life “intolerable.”

The official court document is called a “complaint for separation.” The Sun claimed that Jenelle “lashed out at David” in the document for two alleged instances of physical harm.

Jenelle claims that David confessed to hurting their dog, Nugget, so seriously in 2019 that the dog unfortunately passed away. The other incident is more recent but equally shocking. David has been charged with a felony for allegedly harming his stepson—Jenelle’s son, Jace Evans. 

David Violated His No-Contact Order Against Him for Jace

According to the Sun, Jenelle “officially separated” from David on February 16th.  Her “complaint for separation” was entered into court records on February 23rd. It states that Jenelle is filing “with the intent that the separation be permanent.” Jenelle’s separation complaint states, “Throughout the duration of the marriage of the parties,” David exhibited “concerning and, at times, disturbing behavior.”

Jenelle also claims that David has taken over her boat docked at a marina near their home. She also complained that David has “not checked in on her or inquired about” their youngest child, Ensley. The complaint states, in part, that David “has been spending his days drinking” at a watering hole near the marina where he’s living on Jenelle’s boat.

Jenelle also accused David of refusing to hand over the key to their mailbox. Jenelle alleges that she can’t pick up medications delivered for Jace. She claims that Jace has been left “at risk for adverse health effects.”

An alleged condition in David’s felony charge is a “no-contact order against him for Jace.” Jenelle accused David of breaking that order on February 22nd by showing up at her house when Jace was inside.

Jenelle Alleges That David Damaged Her Public Image

Jenelle’s court document alleged that David took her vehicle without permission. She even claimed that she filmed the interaction with David on February 22nd because she feared for her safety.

Jenelle alleges that David “has not maintained consistent full-time employment for a number of years.” He’s “recklessly spent money” in ways that she claims she can prove at trial. She also states that the excess money David spent could have gone “toward the financial well-being of the minor children.”

Jenelle claimed in her “complaint for separation” that she “has been a faithful and dutiful spouse” to David. She stuck by him “through the criticism of millions of people across the world on social media.”  She’s accusing him of “degrading her public image” so badly that she allegedly lost work because of it.

Jenelle wants primary physical custody of Ensley. Although she’s seeking child support from David, Jenelle is allegedly asking the court for “an unequal distribution of assets” in her favor.

The Sun claimed on March 4th that Jenelle wants more of their assets because she is presumably the “main breadwinner in the family.” She’s asking for the court to award her the marital home and property. 

David and Jenelle have gone on record calling their home and property “The Land.” Jenelle alleges in her filing that David has threatened her several times and told her she “cannot keep him from ‘his’ home.”

David Reportedly Texted His Ex-Wife

Jenelle’s complaint also involves David’s alleged text messages to his ex-wife, Whitney, who is now married to Shane Rich. Whitney was exclusively interviewed by the Sun on October 24, 2023. She claimed to be “very shocked and surprised” at the “inappropriate and very unexpected” text messages from her ex-husband.

The Sun alleges that they “exclusively obtained” David’s texts in October 2023—and the texts were verified as “coming from David’s cell phone to Whitney.” The Sun published screenshots of David’s alleged texts to Whitney, and David tells his ex-wife, “You were perfect.” He also claimed, “I dream about you all the time,” and wrote, “I wish I could turn back the clock.”

Whitney claimed that David and Jenelle were already “on the verge of separating” last October. She added, “They had been fighting at the time.”

Jenelle’s court document also refers to the felony incident between David and Jace, although she wasn’t clear on the actual date. The document states, “On or about September 28 of 2023, a report was made to medical professionals by plaintiff’s oldest minor child,” who is now 14-year-old Jace.

While the DSS allegedly dismissed its case against David, Jenelle confirmed in the separation document that David’s “criminal case is still pending.” At this point, North Carolina family law states that couples “must be separated for at least one year” before one of them files for an “absolute divorce.”

The Sun alleged that David was served with a copy of Jenelle’s “complaint for separation” on its official filing date of February 23rd. However, the Sun reportedly confirmed with the court clerk that David has yet to file a response.

Paris Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, have been together for nearly 5 years. But did they marry because they love each other or for a completely different reason? 

There are so many bizarre aspects of Paris and Carter’s dynamic. The real reasons they decided to settle down and start a family together are shocking. 

When the first season of Paris in Love started streaming in November 2021, the ups and downs of Paris and Carter’s relationship were revealed to the world. At first, many viewers thought that something seemed a little bit off between them. But they ultimately seemed happy enough together. 

However, after season two dropped last fall, it became easier to see that Paris and Carter’s dynamic can be pretty unsettling at times. From their strange interactions to the red flags raised by their behavior, their marriage seems questionable at times. 

It’s hard to believe that the main reason Paris and Carter decided to get married was because of true love. They each seemed to have their own motives for going through with the marriage.

Carter Became Bossy Around the Time of Their Wedding

His over-the-top demeanor exposed Carter’s reason. At first, Carter appeared to be the perfect partner for Paris because of how much he adored her and how supportive of her he was. But in reality, he seemed to be masking his true identity by acting like a total yes-man. 

As their wedding date approached, the moments when Carter’s behavior completely flipped happened more frequently on Paris in Love. At around the same time, Paris and Carter had just gotten married in real life. 

In January 2022, after they wrapped up their 7-week-long honeymoon, Paris made a guest appearance on an episode of Ellen. She couldn’t stop talking about how Carter was the first nice guy that she’d dated and how perfect he was. But what she said about the start of their relationship was incredibly telling. 

According to the Daily Mail, she and Carter met each other for the first time almost two decades ago. But they didn’t start dating until November 2019, when they reconnected in the Hamptons. In February 2021, they announced their engagement. 

Since most of their relationship happened during the Covid pandemic, Carter had seen a muted version of her hectic lifestyle. 

When everything started opening up again, she began booking more DJ gigs and appearances. His dark side was then revealed. 

Carter was really bossy about Paris planning their wedding and when he wanted their future children to be born. He seemed to have everything planned out. 

But when he asked her what bothered her about him, he was somehow taken aback by her response. Then, he made a weird remark that seemed to be his way of justifying his bossiness. After that, Carter started to get even more controlling about his expectations of Paris and their life together. 

Carter Was Obsessed with Paris

During a solo confessional scene, she mentioned that she hated conflict, which is probably why she usually stayed silent during those conversations with him. But she was clearly NOT happy about him constantly being so pushy.  

In one episode of Paris in Love, he guilt-tripped her for not being at home with him, even though he knew she was working at a huge event. At one point, she was even worried that when they had kids, he would try to make her a stay-at-home mom.

Not to mention, Carter was ridiculously patronizing whenever he wanted to prove a point to Paris. He spoke to her like she was a child and acted like he knew better than her. When she wasn’t keeping up with wedding planning, he shamed her in front of his entire family. 

But right after they got married, he made a creepy confession. At their wedding reception, Carter gave a speech that was more for Paris but in front of everyone. He read aloud the text exchange that he had with one of his friends from college, who mentioned how crazy it was that he was finally marrying Paris. 

Apparently, Carter had been captivated by Paris for years. He had pretty much dreamed of marrying her ever since he was in college. At the end of his speech, he said: “Paris, I am literally obsessed with you, and I love it.” 

Carter acted like he was fascinated by the idea of Paris Hilton and the clout that came with being her husband. That seemed to be his main reason for marrying her. But when it comes to who Paris actually is a person, he doesn’t appear to be quite as impressed. 

Paris Had Second Thoughts Before the Wedding

However, Paris didn’t exactly seem to have the greatest reason for getting married either. Even before Carter started showing his true colors and controlling nature, it didn’t look like she had much chemistry with him. 

After they got married and walked back down the aisle together, Carter saw a camera and stopped to kiss Paris. But what she did was unbelievable.

That’s not the only time that Paris has visibly shut Carter down. They recently attended the Grammy’s together, but when he tried to kiss her on the red carpet, she didn’t hesitate before rejecting him.

Paris also showed how uninterested she was in actually committing to Carter by refusing to hyphenate or change her last name after they got married. She made it clear that she wasn’t going to take his last name, no matter how many times he tried to convince her. 

Before Paris married Carter, she had been having so many second thoughts that she broke down in tears over her uncertainty. Even though a huge part of her wanted to call off their engagement before it was too late, she couldn’t back out. But the reasons why Paris felt like she had to go through with marrying Carter were honestly insane.

That made it seem like she was just settling for Carter. But the reason she revealed next was extremely superficial.

Their Marriage Seems to be Based on Convenience

Her public image was more important than marrying someone she truly loved and legitimately made her happy. 

The next reason she brought up was just as alarming. Paris’ main motive for marrying Carter was because she wanted to have kids sooner rather than later. 

If she’d called off the wedding, she wouldn’t have been able to start a family right away. The timing of it all was more important to her than who the father of her children was, which is absolutely bizarre. 

Paris and Carter’s marriage definitely seems to be based more on convenience than love. Even though they had separate reasons for wanting to get married, their motives were completely self-serving.

Carter seemingly wanted to be known as the guy who married and had kids with Paris Hilton. Meanwhile, Paris wanted to have children with someone whom she could also call her husband. Since Carter was willing to start a family right away, he was an ideal candidate. 

She was also tired of being alone and portrayed in the media as a failure for calling off her previous engagements. Even though Paris and Carter don’t seem to be genuinely in love with each other, maybe their marriage will actually last. 

They probably know that they’re both in it for selfish reasons, which might help them feel more secure. As long as they keep acting like they got married because they love each other and not because of clout, kids, or desperation, both of them will benefit. 

Janelle Brown’s Son Garrison Dead at 25

Garrison Brown, the son of Kody and Janelle Brown, was found deceased at his home on Tuesday, March 5th, at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona at just age 25.

According to TMZ and the Flagstaff Police Department, Garrison was found by his brother, Gabe. Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving an emergency call, supposedly from Gabe. According to the police report, he was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

No foul play is suspected, although an investigation is underway. It’s also unclear if any note was left behind.Garrison was a popular character on the TLC show, Sister Wives.

He had appeared on the show since he was a young child when it premiered in 2010. He is also one of the only adult children in the Brown family who still regularly appeared on the show.

Although many of the children had stopped appearing over the years, Garrison was frequently featured to discuss his worsening relationship with his father, Kody, and his parents’ divorce, especially in the most recent season of the show.

Janelle Posted a Heartbreaking Statement On Instagram

Janelle posted a statement via her Instagram confirming the loss. She wrote:

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory. Aside from that statement, none of the other members of the Brown family have spoken out about the devastating tragedy yet.”

Aside from being Kody and Janelle’s biological son, he had a very close relationship with Kody’s ex-wife, Christine. Christine acted as a second mom to Janelle’s kids while they were growing up and Janelle was working.

All of Janelle’s kids stayed close with Christine over the years, and both Garrison and Gabe had spoken out about choosing her in their family over Kody.

It appears as though Garrison had little to no relationship with Kody at the time of his passing. Garrison’s relationship with Kody hit a turning point in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Garrison Has Been Estranged from Kody

Kody did not want Garrison to live in Janelle’s house because he wasn’t following the quarantine rules Kody had imposed on the family. Janelle fought back with Kody on these claims, saying that he was going to work, and that he was saving money to buy a house, which was why she was allowing him to live with her.

Garrison did eventually buy a house in 2021, which was where he was found at the time of his passing. His home also recently served as a plot point on the most recent season of Sister Wives.

Christine and Janelle discussed that Janelle’s son, Gabe, and Christine’s daughter, Gwen, were planning on moving into Garrison’s house.Christine was worried because Gwen didn’t line up politically with Garrison and Gabe.

Ultimately, Gwen decided that moving in with her two brothers wouldn’t be the best choice, but the five of them met for a family dinner to discuss the fractured relationships in the family, along with Janelle’s youngest child, Savanah.

This news comes as a shock to fans of Sister Wives, as fans watched Garrison struggle with his relationship with Kody, but seemed to be thriving in other areas of his life.

I Realized that She Also Stole Money from Me

TLC’s Chilli Becomes a Grandma at 53

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas is officially a grandmother. The 53-year-old TLC member’s son, Tron Austin, just had a baby girl.  

“We are officially parents!!” he shared on Instagram alongside a photo of him and his wife, Jeong Ah Wang, holding their newborn daughter, Lua. 

Tron also revealed that the baby arrived a little early. “She was scheduled for March 6th on a Wednesday but nope she wanted to come sooner! This morning my wife’s water broke at 7am and we immediately got packed as soon as we could and headed to the hospital which is a hour and thirty minutes drive from where we are btw,” he wrote.

Chilli’s Granddaughter Was Born a Little Early

“She went into an emergency C section at 1pm. Our nerves were high and our anxiety was through the roof but despite all of that she powered through and gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby girl!” 

He also shared his gratitude about starting a family: “This is a dream come true. We started dating on September 22,2018 fast forward almost 6 years later, we are married with our first child and life’s journey has now truly begun!” 

In September 2023, the couple announced their baby news on Instagram. Tron revealed that it took many tries and procedures to get to that point: “2 HSG procedures , one hysteroscopy , removal of both tubes and scar tissue from hernia & appendicitis surgeries , one egg retrieval, one miscarriage.” 

“IVF has tested us and blessed us through a year and a half journey,” he added.

Chilli has yet to publicly comment on the happy event, but she has previously shown fans glimpses into her relationship with her son, who she shares with ex Dallas Austin. For example, she posted on Instagram to celebrate Tron’s birthday. 

“Happiest birthday, my young King,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “Looooooooooove you!!! I’m so blessed to be your momma.”

Could Chilli Also Become a Mom Again Soon?

Chilli is currently dating Matthew Lawrence. Even though she is now a grandma, the two have talked about children. “She’s an amazing person,” Lawrence, 44, shared with E! News. “She’s already a mother, she has an incredible son. I respect so much as to how she’s raised him. She’d be an incredible mother again, and I’d be incredibly lucky, but that’s way in the future.”

That said, Matthew, 43, who started dating the singer in 2022 after a break-up with his ex Cheryl Burke, also clarified that he didn’t want to pressure his partner – there are no actual plans to start a family in the immediate future, it was more something he thought would be great if it were to happen.
