Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Had a Crazy Transformation

Ever since Janelle left Kody, she’s managed to completely turn her life around in the best of ways/ She’s lost a ton of weight, and she just looks so much happier nowadays. And you’ll never believe all the things that Janelle’s changed in her day-to-day life…

If you go to Janelle’s social media nowadays, one thing will be clear to you immediately — and that’s that she’s clearly doing extremely well. Ever since she and Kody split up, Janelle’s just really decided to become her best and happiest self. She’s lost a bunch of weight, and she’s just leading a much healthier lifestyle overall.

Nowadays, Janelle has a trainer, and she works out all the time. Not only that, but she apparently really loves it. She revealed that she even works out when she goes to visit Maddie in North Carolina. Janelle’s actually been seeing amazing results, too. Her new, active lifestyle has clearly been incredible for her so far.

Janelle Brown Lost Over 100 Pounds

She’s practically half the size she once was, and reportedly, she’s lost over 100 pounds just over the last year or so, which is just so impressive, especially compared to where she once was. During season 3 of Sister Wives, Janelle talked about her struggles with her weight.

She and the other wives decided to go to the gym together after opening up to each other. Janelle admitted that she was mortified to share her weight with the other women because she’d never told anybody how much she weighed before then — not even Kody.

Then, she admitted something heartbreaking. Janelle said that her physical appearance was her Achilles heel. She knew that she was smart, a good employee, and pretty much good at everything else, but her looks were always one of her biggest insecurities, and a big part of that was her weight.

So, it’s pretty amazing to see that she’s in a much better place now — and not just physically. Obviously, her physical transformation has been incredibly impressive, and I couldn’t be happier for her, but it’s even more amazing to see how much these little lifestyle changes have impacted her mental health.

She just seems so much happier, brighter, and more positive nowadays, and she also seems to have a really good and healthy attitude toward it all.

How Did Janelle Brown Lose the Weight?

In one of her social media posts, Janelle described her health journey as incredible. She said that the results weren’t overnight but that she was okay with that. For her, it was all about “slow and steady wins the race.” Then, she signed off by saying that 2023 was going to be her year.

In another recent post from January 2023, Janelle said that she’s proven to herself over and over again that when you know how much you can push yourself, there aren’t a lot of limits – at least not if you’re brave enough. She also commented that she was working toward benching 205 pounds at the gym, which is super impressive.

It just really feels like Janelle is no longer willing to hold back and be second best. She’s working on herself, doing what she wants, and feeling really empowered, which is amazing to see. And the thing she said about “slow and steady wins the race” definitely holds true.

She seems to have a pretty healthy attitude toward her journey, and it’s clear that this is something she’s been working on for a while now. Her body transformation didn’t just happen out of nowhere. She made some slow, deliberate changes, and eventually, they really paid off.

Janelle also revealed that she didn’t have to change that many things at all. The main thing that she did was that she started taking care of herself. She shared a selfie to her social media and talked about how she found some amazing plant-based supplements that really rocked her world.

Apparently, after starting those, she stopped having sugar cravings, brain fog, low energy, poor sleep, and inflammation like she used to have for the longest time. She’s also been promoting Plexus on her page, and she’s sung high praises for the product, too.

Janelle Is All About Moderation

But overall, it just seems like she’s been making much healthier choices recently. In November 2021, she opened up about finding balance during the holidays. She said that after she’d learned about why our bodies crave what they crave and why they act the way they do, her mindset just completely transformed.

It’s all about balance, in her opinion. You can still enjoy food and life, but you just need to do it in a healthier way. And what that looks like might be different for everyone. In July 2022, Janelle took to Instagram and opened up about weight loss in general.

She said that everyone’s weight loss journey would inevitably look different. This is apparently one of the reasons why she used to be so hesitant to share any of her progress publicly. She’s aware that there will always be a lot of nay-sayers out there who just want to ruin her day, and she used to let this get to her.

But that’s clearly been part of her amazing transformation, too – nowadays, she seems much less bothered about the haters. She knows that she has to do things in her own way, and she’s confident about her progress. Apparently, she’s really increased her strength and has lost weight and inches, and it definitely shows.

She’s clearly in a great place, and it’s kind of crazy to look back and see where she was just a couple of years ago/ It almost feels like leaving Kody was really good for her. I mean, maybe that timing was just a coincidence, but I feel like it might’ve played a part.

Janelle’s been putting herself first more and more, and she wasn’t really able to do that a while back when she was still with Kody. At least not to this extent. In December 2022, Janelle also shared another exciting lifestyle update. She said that a couple of months before then, she added Pilates to her workout mix, and this was definitely the right choice for her.

Janelle Started Her Own Wellness Business

She said that she was really pleased with how it complemented her other workouts, and then she added that she might now be addicted to the amazing feeling she gets every time she finishes a class. A while ago, Janelle also started her own business, Strive with Janelle.

It turns out that she’s now a certified health coach, and her mission is to help others achieve their goals. On her website, she says that she understands the weight and frustration of feeling like there’s more out there for you but not knowing where to turn to first.

Because of this understanding, she wants to help others get to a better place – like she has. Through her business, she offers people the “tools and resources they need to feel happy, healthy, and capable of managing life’s pressures.” She educates people about wellness, and honestly, I think that’s pretty wholesome.

It’s clear that Janelle has achieved some pretty incredible results, so it only makes sense for her to now pass her knowledge on to others, and given that she always makes sure to state that this kind of thing is often highly individual, I feel like she might know what she’s talking about.

Either way, looking at Janelle now, I think it’s pretty insane how far she’s come. She looks better and happier than ever, and I think we can all agree that it’s been amazing to see. I hope that things continue working out for her the way they have been.

Leaving Kody and prioritizing herself and her own needs really might’ve been one of the best decisions she’s ever made…
