The post was about Monica’s appearance at Nelly’s Black and White Ball. She posed on the red carpet along with Nelly and Ashanti. She was also joined by her new boyfriend, Anthony Wilson.
Monica hasn’t exactly announced the start of their relationship, but they appeared to be a couple from another Instagram post that Anthony actually posted on Monica’s birthday back in October.
It was a picture of them posing together and Anthony wrote “Happy Birthday babe” on it. Monica herself reposted the picture and added an affectionate comment of her own. She said that Anthony treats her like every day is her birthday and called him her love.
Monica Said Things Were Over Between Her and C-Murder

Apparently, she’s over it now and learned a valuable lesson from it. She added that these days, she can look back and laugh about it.
What Happened With Monica and C-Murder?
Monica and C-Murder were in a relationship starting back in the 90s. Things got complicated after he was arrested and charged with taking someone’s life.
That was in 2002 and the case and trial spanned over several years. Eventually, he was convicted and sentenced to life behind bars.
He started his sentence in 2009 and has been in prison ever since. Throughout the years, he’s been trying to get the case reopened and repeat the trial.
Despite the fact that he was convicted, C-Murder has never actually plead guilty to the crime. He maintains that he’s innocent and his legal representatives are fighting for his freedom.
Monica actually mentioned this in her comment, too. She said she’s glad that C-Murder has the representation he needs to one day be free. Her closing message to everyone who might be invested in this story? “Let’s move forward.”
