What Does Kody Brown Do For a Living? The Truth Will Shock You

Now that Kody and Robyn Brown are on their own, they might be in big financial trouble…

Christine, Meri, and Janelle have all left Kody — and they took their money with them . And because of that, Kody’s biggest fear might be about to come true. On the Tell-All part 1, Kody said that nothing scared him but poverty.  

And given that three out of his four wives have now left him, it makes sense that money has been on his mind so much. His and Robyn’s income has now been decreased by 75%, and this will for sure have a huge impact on their future.

What Kody Brown Does for Work

At this point, all we really know is that Kody works as a firearm parts salesman. He reportedly co-owns a business in Utah that sells firearms and sporting goods.

It’s not clear how much money he makes from that, but even if it is a decent salary, he might still be in trouble. That’s because Robyn doesn’t actually work outside of the home.

As far as we know, Robyn hasn’t really had a job outside of the house since she got married to Kody. The only thing we really know she worked on was her failed business, My Sister Wife’s Closet. This was an online jewelry store that was started by Robyn.

As of now, she apparently still claims to be doing that. But if the show is accurate, the business has never turned a profit, and it’s always operated at a loss.

This means that all the wives who invested their own funds into it only ended up losing money. Allegedly, Janelle even cashed in her 401k retirement fund and gave Robyn $40,000 for My Sister Wife’s Closet, only for it to fail. This was after she repeatedly made it clear that she had her doubts about the business…

I don’t think Janelle ever got that money back, although we obviously don’t know that for sure. Either way, this has always been Robyn’s only job — if you could even call it that… and despite her claims, it’s not been active in years.

However, this has been the case for years now — and it’s clear that the website hasn’t been updated in a while.

At the top of the homepage, it still mentions Christine, Janelle, and Meri as owners. The header is a photo of Kody and the four wives. This is obviously very telling: All three of the other wives have left Kody now, so to have them up on the website still like this seems pretty strange.

But there’s more. We all know that Christine has been gone for a while now. This all means that Robyn clearly hasn’t updated the website in at least a year, which doesn’t exactly make it seem like an ongoing project for her.

The website also has a blog, which has not been updated in four years now. The last post of the blog was published on January 17, 2019. The same inactivity is evident on the business’s social media, too. The Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts were last active in March 2019.

Since then, the business has gone completely silent. It was even reported that several months later, Christine sold some of her remaining jewelry from the business on her social media for only $10 per piece. Whatever dreams Robyn had of making this business work, it seems that she’s now abandoned those.

She could obviously restart My Sister Wife’s Closet sometime in the future. But since it’s been reported that the business never really made any money, I just can’t really see this happening.

Especially given Kody and Robyn’s current financial situation…While the two of them lost three sizeable incomes, they still have the money they make on the show.

Kody and Robyn Brown’s Income From Sister Wives 

It’s been reported that all five of the adults make approximately $25,000 per episode. This works out to about $5,000 per episode per person. There are about 22 episodes per year, which means that each year, they make about $110,000 per person.

Therefore, Kody and Robyn get $220,000 for the two of them. This is obviously a pretty decent amount, and if it was just the two of them, they would probably be able to get by on that.

But there’s one problem with this: Kody and Robyn are still supporting their adult children. It’s not just the two of them they have to think about. It’s Dayton, Aurora, Breanna, Solomon, and Ari as well. This will obviously have a huge impact on their budget.

On top of that, Robyn and Kody have always lived beyond their means. They’ve been pretty much dependent on the other wives’ income this whole time. This was made clear when it was confirmed that Meri and Janelle have both used the money they got from selling the houses in Vegas for Robyn’s down payment on her huge mansion in Flagstaff.  

The other wives have always been the ones to make the money, while Robyn was the one who got to spend it all. Now, without all this extra income and the financial support from the other women, who knows what Robyn and Kody might have to do.

The natural step would be for them to either stop financially supporting their older kids — or for Robyn to get a job. But I’m not sure if they’ll even seriously consider either of these options at all.

After so many years of not working, I just can’t imagine Robyn going out there and actually willingly looking for a job. To top it all off, Kody and Robyn might also be in danger of losing the Coyote Pass property. They bought the land back in 2018, and they were given five years to pay it off – until 2023.

As far as we know, they haven’t managed to do this yet, and now that Janelle and Meri have both also left, I honestly can’t see this happening. It’s unclear what happened to the property after the two of them left, but I feel like there is no point in trying to keep it anyway.

Kody Earns Extra Money By Being On Cameo

The plan was for all five of them and their kids to live on Coyote Pass… but now that it’s just Kody and Robyn and their kids, they might as well stay in their huge and expensive mansion. One other thing that Kody does to earn some extra income is Cameo.

He charges $99 per personalized video, and he actually seems pretty active on there. Based on the reviews on his profile, he made 11 videos in December 2022. This made him about an extra $1000 on top of his income from the show and from his day job.

Unsurprisingly, Robyn herself isn’t on Cameo. While all the other sister wives are on there, Robyn isn’t…It’s not clear why, but it’s just yet another instance of her not bringing in any kind of income outside of the show.

When Kody said that the only thing that scared him was poverty, it really put things into perspective… but perhaps not one that Kody would like. It’s understandable that he might be worried about money nowadays, given the situation.

He and Robyn will have to adjust to some major changes, so this makes a lot of sense. But for Kody to say that this was the only thing he was afraid of – well, let’s just say it didn’t come across the way he’d probably hoped.

People on Reddit have pointed out that by saying this, Kody was basically implying that things like his daughter’s spine surgery scared him less than the idea of poverty. Moreover, given his extreme behavior during the pandemic, you’d think that he was also scared of COVID-19.

But apparently, the only thing that scares him is not having money. He probably should’ve thought that statement through a little more before saying it on camera…

Exposing Robyn Brown’s Life Before Sister Wives

We’ve all watched for years as Robyn Brown hasn’t contributed to the Brown family financially. Literally, while all the other wives and Kody had jobs, she just lived off of their salaries…

And it only gets weirder when you remember that even before she joined the Brown family, she didn’t have a job. So how was she getting by? Who was paying her bills while she was trying to support three kids?

Well, the answer will really surprise you…

Robyn and Kody got spiritually married in 2010, which was also the first year that Sister Wives aired on TLC. I’m sure a lot of people are already aware of how the Browns were already struggling financially when Robyn entered the family.

I mean, just between 2005 and 2010, Meri, Christine, and Janelle had each filed for bankruptcy. Not to mention that Kody’s earnings from working as a salesman at a sign shop were incredibly inconsistent.  

Obviously, Robyn and her three kids entering the picture only made the family’s budget even tighter. In early episodes of Sister Wives, Kody and Janelle even brought up concerns about how they were going to afford the addition of four more people,

But at the time, the plan was for Robyn to start working after she moved closer, so she’d be able to help with groceries and bills. Clearly, that didn’t go according to plan… 

Robyn Never Worked Once She Joined the Brown Family

We all know by now that Robyn pretty much never worked once she joined the Brown family. This has been a hot topic with viewers for a long time. A lot of people have been wondering how Robyn was able to financially support herself and her children before Kody and the other wives started helping her.

Robyn has had a lot of financial assistance throughout her life from the people closest to her — and one of the first examples of this was her first marriage.

She got married in 1999 to David Preston Jessop, who’s mainly referred to as Preston. Within a few short years, Robyn was raising three kids, while Preston reportedly owned an HVAC company and also worked as a contractor.

After eight years, their marriage ended in an absolutely insane way. According to the divorce documents that were obtained by In Touch, it was actually Preston who filed for divorce from Robyn in 2007.

But I think it’s safe to say that neither of them was happy in the marriage — at least based on the insinuations and claims that Robyn has made about him since. Their split was apparently finalized in 2009, and the amount of debt that Robyn was in because of the divorce was outrageous.

Robyn has mentioned this debt on Sister Wives a couple of times, and her side of the story is crazy. She claimed that she agreed to take on almost all of the debt from her marriage just to keep the peace with Preston during the divorce.  

So, when she joined the Brown family, she had a whopping $32,400 in credit card debt. And based on the amount of money Robyn was supposedly bringing in, her financial situation was extremely troubling. Preston had been ordered to pay Robyn $159 a month in child support.

Even before the payments stopped being regular a few years later, that’s not nearly enough to fully support four people. Clearly, there had to have been another way that Robyn provided for her family as a single mom.

I’m actually very surprised at how much of her previous life and work history has stayed out of the public eye for so many years.

There have been a lot of speculations that Robyn was working as a receptionist at an assisted living facility at one point, but that’s never been confirmed.

Robyn Was Struggling When She Met Kody

Apparently, Robyn was barely scraping by when she first met Kody, but thankfully, she had some help. What she wrote in one part of the book Becoming Sister Wives was honestly so eye-opening.

Robyn didn’t give a ton of insight into her finances in the family’s book that was published in 2012, but she and Kody both dropped a few clues. When they were courting, Robyn lived 300 miles from the Brown family, so obviously, they would drive to visit each other.

I’m pretty sure that most of the time, Kody was the one traveling. According to Becoming Sister Wives, Robyn couldn’t afford to pay for the gas her van would need to make the nearly five-hour drive to Lehi.

She explained that she almost didn’t even go to meet Kody and the rest of the Brown family in the first place because of how rough her money situation was. But it turns out that someone in Robyn’s family came through for her in an unbelievable way…

After her cousin Reba decided to pay for the gas Robyn needed to make the trip, the rest was history. That said, so much of Robyn’s early life, especially her employment background, is still so mysterious.

If Robyn moved out of the trailer she shared with Preston before their divorce was finalized, she had at least a year when she was financially responsible for herself and her kids. Even if the theory about her working as a receptionist is true, I’m sure that that income alone wasn’t able to cover everything.

Many people have speculated about how Robyn made ends meet, and what they’ve come up with is so intriguing. I feel like the majority of people are in agreement that she must have relied a lot on her family for financial help — and not just for gas money.

It actually seems like she’s been in this kind of pattern for most of her life, if the speculations about her past are at all accurate. Allegedly, Robyn and her kids moved from Montana to St. George, Utah to be closer to family after her divorce.

It’s been heavily speculated that she stayed with her mom and stepdad initially. Several months later, they supposedly set her up in one of their rentals, which is the condo we briefly saw her living in during season one. After that, Robyn soon became one of Kody’s wives, and I think almost everyone is aware that her debt was paid off by her new family.

But aside from her parents and the Brown family, she may have been relying on another family’s money in her previous life. Just recently, some astonishing claims have been made about Robyn’s other alleged source of financial support, and I’m seriously stunned.

Robyn Brown’s Shocking Spending Problem

Someone on Reddit under the username ‘NoPop1111’ has claimed to be the cousin of not only Robyn’s ex-husband, but Christine Brown as well. Apparently, Preston’s mom is Diane Allred Jessop, who just so happens to be the aunt of Christine’s dad, Rex Allred.

Obviously, we don’t know if the Reddit insider really is who they say they are, but I have to admit, their identity does seem to make sense.

And lately, they’ve been revealing some details about Robyn’s life before Sister Wives that sound insanely shocking. First off, the source explained that the threat of being sued by Robyn was a genuine fear for a lot of Preston’s family members, but all of that is now apparently starting to change.

Several alleged friends and family members have come forward recently with incredibly similar stories of what Robyn’s past was really like. And now that more and more people have been speaking up, they’re less worried about being targeted by a lawsuit, apparently.

According to the Reddit source, basically everything that’s been reported lately about Robyn’s financial past has been surprisingly accurate.

One of the craziest allegations that people have been repeatedly making is that Robyn’s credit card debt was actually her own, not Preston’s. They claim that she had a huge shopping problem and spent way more than she and Preston could pay.

The Reddit insider revealed that Preston might not have been the right guy for Robyn, but she didn’t exactly make the marriage easy, either.

I guess at one point, Robyn was allegedly hiding her purchases in a backyard shed so that her spending problem would stay a secret. Supposedly, his nieces would regularly babysit for Robyn while she went shopping. And, as bizarre as it sounds, they were reportedly paid for babysitting with clothes that Robyn had just purchased.

It also sounds like the financial struggles that came from Robyn impacted Preston’s family in a startling way. According to the Reddit insider, everything that was summed up in recent claims from the YouTube channel Without A Crystal Ball is correct.

Again, we don’t have confirmation about this, unfortunately, but if it’s true, I can’t believe how serious this was. Several sources claiming to be close to the Jessop and Allred families revealed that before Robyn and Preston divorced, they were planning on buying a house.

However, once Preston realized how much credit card debt Robyn had racked up, his family offered to help. Allegedly, they bailed out Preston and Robyn by loaning them tens of thousands of dollars to cover the credit card bills.

But what supposedly happened next is jaw-dropping. Reportedly, Robyn’s shopping habits were so problematic that she spent the money from Preston’s family on more purchases instead of paying off her debt. The sources involved also claimed that this was one of the main reasons why Preston wanted to file for divorce.

Robyn Is Used to Relying On Financial Help

I honestly don’t know what to make of these allegations, but they could explain some unanswered questions about Robyn’s previous life… Either way, it’s clear that Robyn has relied on financial help from others quite a few different times in her life, even after her drama with Preston. All without having to work much at all… 

That wouldn’t even be a bad thing in certain circumstances, but she hasn’t really seemed willing to contribute even when that’s been expected. I am in no way trying to say that stay-at-home-parents aren’t working, but we all know that Robyn has had either live-in babysitters or nannies for years.

It just seems so strange that Robyn seemingly never contributed financially to the Brown family, despite initially saying that she would get a job.

She still had nice homes, nannies, and was able to live above her means because of the help she was getting from the other wives.

Who Is Robyn Brown’s Ex-Husband? What You Need to Know

Robyn Brown doesn’t really talk about her first marriage. So, who is her ex-husband and why is she so secretive about it?

Before Kody, Robyn was married for eight years to David Preston Jessop. She was only 21 when they got married. On the surface, David might just look like every other guy, but when you go deeper there are extremely dark secrets about him that would haunt anyone.

Robyn Was Afraid of David Preston Jessop

According to Robyn, her main reason for leaving David was because he was abusive toward her and their children. And that honestly explains a lot, because she did mention that early on in her marriage to David she felt devastated when she found out she was pregnant with their first child, Dayton.

Now, this had me wondering why would Robyn feel that scared after finding out that she was pregnant. I mean it’s not like she and David didn’t have the means to care for a child, and they were already married in the first place. 

So what could have caused such a reaction from Robyn?

Robyn struggled to make her marriage with David work. A couple of years down the line, she has two more kids with David before finally calling it quits. But it didn’t take too long for Robyn to meet Kody and get married once again.

You would think that David would at least try and be supportive of Robyn’s new relationship since they’ve already been separated for like what…three years. However, David’s reaction to Robyn’s new marriage was far from supportive.

David apparently decided to stop seeing his children and then he terminated all his parental rights. Can you guys actually believe this? Rumor has it that he gave them up because of Robyn’s decision to appear on Sister Wives. But still, that doesn’t even make any sense.

I mean, what type of guy gives up his parental rights just because his ex-wife decided to move on with her life? Honestly, I believe that David never wanted to be a dad in the first place. Maybe this was actually something he had thought about doing for a while after he divorced Robyn, and then Kody came along and just made it much easier for him. 

But I guess we’ll never know why he really did what he did because no one knows what really went on besides Robyn and David.

Robyn’s Ex Was Arrested for an Alleged Assault

David was arrested in 2018. And what he was arrested for really shocked everyone. I guess you could say that Robyn was lucky to get away from him when she could.

David was allegedly arrested for physically attacking someone, but the court papers didn’t really tell us who the person was.

All we know is that the person might have been a member of his family. It turns out that he had attacked this person and actually caused them physical injuries. He pleaded not guilty to his case in 2018 and was ordered to pay fines after his charge was changed from assault to disorderly conduct.

Now, I can’t even stop myself from wondering what exactly Robyn and all her children must have gone through while she was still married to David. The more I think about it, it honestly becomes sick and disturbing. 

I mean, if David could do something so terrible to a family member, I guess we can only imagine what he’s capable of doing to a stranger and that is just totally creepy.

Even though Robyn succeeded in getting away from David just in time, she didn’t really end up getting too far from him. And what I’m about to say next is going to leave you very shocked.

Robyn’s Ex-Husband Is Related to Kody Brown

It turns out that Robyn ended up remarrying David’s cousin. Yes, you guys, Kody Brown is RELATED to David. Honestly, I was shocked out of my mind when I first found out about this. But then if you really sit down and think about it, it kind of makes sense.

David and Kody have a pretty striking resemblance. I mean if you place their pictures side by side you would literally think David and Kody are brothers and you wouldn’t be that far off the mark. It turns out that Kody is David’s third cousin. 

And I know this might not make a lot of sense for many of us, but it is very common for Mormons in Utah to be related because they have a very small pool of ancestors. If this isn’t bizarre enough, then you’re in for a surprise.

Robyn and David’s connection goes beyond their children and David’s relationship with Kody. It turns out that David is also related to Christine!

David might be Kody’s third cousin, but he’s also Christine’s first cousin. This means that David is blood-related to Robyn’s other children. This is so crazy.

I guessed you could say that Robyn literally kept it within the family. The fact that Robyn and David are still connected to each other in one way is pretty insane.

Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires Divorce

News has emerged today that country music star couple Amanda Shires and Jason Isbell are going their separate ways. People magazine reported that Jason had filed for divorce from his wife after nearly eleven years of marriage last December, according to court records. The filing came just two months before what would have been the couple’s 11th wedding anniversary.

The end of their relationship has impacted both of their careers. Since tying the knot in 2013, the pair have worked together on their music, with Amanda playing the fiddle and singing backup for her former husband’s band, the 400 Unit. Jason has also performed for Amanda’s country supergroup, The Highwomen, for whom he has played guitar.

A year ago this month, the former couple celebrated their 10-year anniversary with posts on social media. Jason wrote on his Instagram account at the time, “Every day I wake up and fall in love with you again,” about his then-wife. 

Jason and Amanda Have Previously Discussed Their Marriage Problems

However, the couple have also been transparent about problems with their relationship before news of their split surfaced. Last year, their relationship was on display in the documentary Running With Our Eyes Closed. In one scene, Amanda is seen reading an email she had sent Jason about possibly taking up marriage counseling. 

In 2022, Amanda opened up to People about trying to work things out with Jason. She said, “It doesn’t matter if you’re a quasi-famous person like Jason or me; everybody’s relationships are the same.”

She continued, “There’s ups and downs, and there’s good and bad, and you just try to deal with it. Life’s not easy, marriage isn’t easy, but aren’t we lucky to be able to live?”

For many years, Jason has talked about how his album Reunions took a toll on his relationships. In 2020, he talked to The New York Times about how making the album had made him want to push everyone away. 

He even went as far as admitting that he said, “At one point, it’d be easier if somebody had cheated.” “But,” he continued, “it was more like, ‘We don’t know each other right now. We’re not able to speak the same language.’”

That same year, Amanda moved into a hotel for ten days, apparently because “lines had been crossed” and she “needed space.” However, they later were able to reconcile. Two years later Amanda addressed her marriage problems in the song Fault Lines.

In an interview with Nashville Scene, Amanda talked about a “disconnect” that grew between her and her husband during lockdown. She said, “It was a big blur of not being able to get through. So I thought, ‘Maybe I’ll write a song with my feelings and send it to Jason.’” 

Although she did send a demo of the song to Jason, Nashville Scene reported that “he left the song unplayed.” 

Although their marriage is now coming to an end, Jason and Amanda have been able to learn lessons from it and use it in their creative pursuits. As Amanda put it to the Nashville Scene, “You gave the choice to be vulnerable or not. However you handle yourself, it’s all about choice.”

Parker McCollum and wife Hallie Expecting a Baby

Parker McCollum and his wife Hallie have just announced that they are expecting a baby. They announced the news over Instagram with a collaborative post. The post has just a single photo with a simple, short caption.

It shows Parker and Hallie standing together, sharing a kiss. They appear to be standing on the side of a pool, and the background behind them is one of the ocean at sunset. 

One key detail about the photo is what Hallie is doing with her hands. Parker has his hands on his wife’s neck, holding onto her while they’re kissing. But Hallie has her hands on her belly, holding on to it as if she’s supporting a baby bump from the bottom.

The caption of the post leaves nothing up for interpretation. Hallie wrote: “God’s little blessing. We love you so much already, Baby M!” With this caption, she made it completely clear that this is indeed a pregnancy announcement. 

Parker also commented on the post, expressing his excitement and his love for Hallie and joking about the announcement. He wrote: “Wow! Awesome news! So happy to hear about this! I love you, babe! Congrats!”

Pregnancy Rumors Had Been Circulating Since January

This Instagram post is the first time Parker and Hallie have officially talked about the pregnancy. Despite that, many people will not be surprised by the news. For the past month, there has been speculation on the internet about Hallie possibly being pregnant. 

It was sparked by another post that Parker made on Instagram on January 5th. In the post, Parker informed his followers about the cancelation of one of his upcoming shows. The show was scheduled for August 30th of this year and was supposed to take place in College Station, Texas. 

Notably, Parked did not share the reason for the cancelation. He only said that it was due to unforeseen circumstances and did not say much more about the reason in the video. Parker only promised that everything would make sense at some point in the near future.

He apologized to his fans for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation. Parker also reassured everyone that tickets would be refunded and gave information about the refund process.

The caption of the post repeated a lot of the information he already gave in the video. But at the very end, Parker wrote: “We have some exciting news that we’ll be announcing in the near future, so be on the lookout!” He did not clarify who he meant by the word we. 

Based on all the information he gave, people online started guessing as to what the reason for the cancelation might be. He called it exciting news but also an unforeseen circumstance that led him to cancel a show eight months in advance. 

That, together with the fact that he wasn’t able to share the reason just yet made some people think it might be due to a pregnancy. Now that Parker and Hallie made the official announcement, it appears those speculations were correct. 

Monica Speaks Out On Brandy

Monica has spoken out about the possibility of working with Brandy again.  

The Grammy winner talked with Entertainment Tonight at Clice Davis’ annual pre-ceremony Gala at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. During the conversation, Monica looked back on her first Grammy win for her duet with Brandy on The Boy is Mine. The song won the Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals in 1999. 

Monica said of their win, “You know, coming from where I’m from, I didn’t totally expect to win.” She continued, “I knew that the record was amazing enough to win, so I came without expectation, and that made the celebration even greater.”

Monica added, “I was just happy to be in the audience and to be there and to be a part of it and to have my city on my back.” Monica said when she heard her and Brandy’s names read out, they were “just getting seated.” 

The Boy Is Mine was the first number-one hit for Monia and Brandy and was the best-selling single of 1998 in the US. Despite the success of their single, reports of a feud stemming from their time working together followed the singers for years. 

In fact, ET even reported in 2016 that Monica had admitted to getting into a physical altercation with Brandy. Monica had told this story in 2012 on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show. At the time, Brandy and Monica had released another duet called It Belongs to Me. 

Monica said that her run-in with Brandy had taken place “many years ago” and also added that she was sorry. 

Monica and Brandy Have Both Grown Since Their Earlier Fued

More recently, Brandy and Monica came face-to-face in a 2020 episode of the Verzuz series. At the time, Entertainment Tonight reported that Monica wanted to put the rumors of their beef behind them on the show. 

She said both women had “long removed” themselves from “the dramatics of it.” She also said that she and Brandy would “have a very in-depth conversation.” However, Monia also stressed that “the fans have no idea what really took place, what really caused the initial friction.”

In her most recent ET interview, Monica said that “anything is possible” when asked if she and Brandy might sing together on a song again. She said, “We’re both adult women now who fully understand the business and how much we both mean to it and how much it means when we come together.” She concluded, “Anything is possible, anything. I say that with my heart.”

Brandy has, in the past, agreed with Monica that they had both grown since their initial disagreement. While talking about their upcoming Verzuz series in 2020, Brandy said that “it felt like the right time” for the performers to reunite. She also said that their appearance together would be “bigger than feud, it’s bigger than beef” and concluded that they both needed to “just let that go and just let the music speak.”

So it sounds like it could be very possible for Brandy and Monica to come together to speak through their music again in the future.  

Kayla Sessler Pregnant with 3rd Child

Kayla Sessler is reportedly expecting baby number three. The media outlet In Touch reported yesterday that the 25-year-old reality star was pregnant. This will be her first child with boyfriend Ryan Leigh. 

Kayla shared the news on her personal Instagram page yesterday. She posted what In Touch called “professional maternity photos,” showing Ryan cradling her visible baby bump. In the caption alongside the pictures, she wrote, “Made with love.”

Although this exciting news is the first child that the couple has had together, both Kayla and Ryan are already parents. Kayla shares her daughter, Ariah, with former partner Luke Davies. She also has a son, Izaiah, with her other ex-boyfriend Stephan Alexander. 

For his part, Ryan reportedly has a son of his own, according to In Touch. The outlet also reported that the expectant parents had already introduced their respective kids to each other during Christmas last year. Kayla and Ryan, as well as their whole blended family, were photographed smiling in matching holiday pajamas. 

A month after the pictures were shared, the Teen Mom star shared an update with her fans during a Q&A video on YouTube. She said, “Ryan and I have actually been together for over a year now. It just seems so new to you guys because we just recently announced on social media a few months ago.”

In Touch reported that this had actually been Kayla’s own decision. During her YouTube session, she explained, “It was really important to me that I could just enjoy my relationship in private.”

Kayla and Ryan Have Faced Challenges as a Blended Family

In the same video, Kayla was asked by a fan what it had been like trying to “blend families” with her new boyfriend. She answered, “In this case, Ryan’s the primary parent. So, a unique situation we have going on, but it works well.” She went on to say that all of their kids “got along great.”

Kayla added, “I would say the hardest part about blending families was actually to blend Ryan and I’s parenting style.” She explained, “I’m really lenient when it comes to the kids and he’s a lot more structured.” As Kayla put it, “When it comes to parenting, you can’t have two parents that are singing different songs and then expect the kids to be able to keep up with the melody.”

Despite the difference in parenting style, Kayla told her fans that she and Ryan had finally found themselves “on the same page” as far as raising their kids goes. She also said that all of their children had “adjusted really easily” to the change.

Although her main focus has been learning to co-parent with Ryan, Kayla also gave an update on how things were going with her other baby daddies. She said that she and Luke were “going great,” although she admitted that she would like to lock in a “set schedule” for Luke and Ariah that his work didn’t allow. 

She also said that Ryan had reached out to Luke to let him know that he “respects [Luke] as the kids’ dad.” Kayla shared that although they had had “issues in the past,” Ryan and Luke wanted to move past their differences.

All About Toby Keith’s Wife

After Toby Keith’s passing on February 5th, fans and followers wanted to know more about his wife, Tricia.

The last television interview that Toby Keith ever did was in January 2024. He spoke with reporter Robin March of News 9 in Oklahoma, and Toby revealed a great deal about Tricia. He claimed he found  “unexpected blessings” throughout his cancer journey, including a “deeper appreciation” for Tricia and his entire family. 

Toby described the time he and Tricia went to the hospital to begin his cancer treatment. The hospital was in Houston, Texas, and Toby revealed that Tricia “stepped right in, and she just took control.”

He called Tricia “the best nurse.” Toby also said, “She’s been a trooper,” and Tricia had told him, “We’re going to get this, and don’t worry about it.”

But even though Toby did not win his battle with cancer, he and Tricia were strong in their faith until the end, and he mentioned this during the News 9 interview. Toby admitted, “Cancer is a roller coaster. You just sit here and wait on it to go away—it may not ever go away.”

Toby and Tricia’s Love Story

Daily Mail described the love story of Toby and Tricia from their first encounter in 1981. Toby was 20 years old and a recent high school graduate. Tricia was 19 and had a young daughter named Shelley from a previous relationship.

People.com also revealed that Toby followed in his father’s footsteps and took an oil field job after graduation. Toby called the work “typical roughneck stuff,” although he earned $50,000 a year back then. Tricia was working as a secretary for an oil company, but she didn’t meet Toby at work.

Toby’s real passion was country-rock music, and he started a local group called the Easy Money Band. While the location was never named, Tricia met Toby at an “Oklahoma nightspot.”

Later, she told People magazine, “He was just one of those larger-than-life guys, full of confidence.” Years later, an article in The Boot revealed that Toby said he danced with Tricia the night he met her and thought “she was great.”  

Tricia and Toby dated for three years and got married in 1984. Toby adopted Shelley, and they also had a daughter named Krystal in 1985 and a son named Stelen in 1997.

In His Early Days, Toby Only Made $35 Per Gig

Toby was still working in the oil fields early on in his marriage, and The Boot reported that it could be a dangerous job—once, Toby even witnessed a fatal injury on the oil field. When “the oil fields went bust,” as Toby described in an interview with People, he began concentrating on music full-time. Tricia said that Toby told her, “One of these days, my time is coming. Hang in there.’”

But in the early days of Toby’s music career, he barely made enough to support his young family. The Boot reported that Toby and his Easy Money Band often made only about $35 per gig—plus free beer. So, while Tricia raised their children, People revealed that she also had to juggle the creditors.

According to The Boot, Toby once told Country Weekly that “dozens of people told Tricia, ‘You need to go tell your old man to get a real job.’” But Toby also admitted, “It took a strong-hearted and loving woman to say, ‘He’s good enough at music that I’ve got to let him try,” and Tricia also told the naysayers, “It’ll be a great shot for both of us if he can make it work.”

When Tricia was interviewed by People earlier in Toby’s career, she revealed what Toby was like as a husband, and Tricia also revealed something about herself. Tricia said it was nice “to get a bouquet of flowers” from Toby. But she told him, “Save the money. Roses die in five to seven days; buy me an outfit or take me to dinner,” instead. 

The Couple Donated Their Time and Money to Help Children with Cancer

Tricia is also a dedicated philanthropist, and it’s interesting to note that she’s raised funds and awareness of childhood cancers. She and Toby started the Toby Keith Foundation in 2006, and their mission was to help children with cancer and their families. 

Tricia and Toby did a video interview in 2014, and they talked about a lodging facility called the OK Kids Korral that houses families with kids getting treated for cancer in the Oklahoma area. Toby called the OK Kids Korral a mix of “a Ritz Carlton and Disney;” Tricia said that walking into the OK Kids Korral gave her goosebumps. She added, “One of the best things is when you go and see a smile” on the kids’ faces because they didn’t have to stay in a hospital room. 

Toby and Tricia also enjoyed some free time during their marriage. He told People once that he and Tricia loved to play golf, although he joked that they were “not the best at the sport.”

Toby definitely made it work. In 2021, before his cancer diagnosis, his career earnings were estimated to be $500 million, according to The Boot. 

In March 2021, The Boot reported one of the sweetest things that Toby ever confessed about Tricia and his personal life. Toby said, “I absolutely love performing and writing songs but being at home with my wife, Tricia, and my three kids is the best feeling of all.”

All About Toby Keith’s Kids

Since the tragic passing of Toby Keith was announced, everyone is wondering just who his children are exactly. Toby Keith and his wife, Tricia Lucus, had three children together. This includes Tricia’s daughter, Shelley, whom Toby adopted after he married Tricia in 1984.

According to People.com, Toby Keith wasn’t just an “iconic country star. He was also a “doting father.” Toby and Tricia’s middle child was a daughter named Krystal, born in September 1985. Their son, Stelen, came along in April 1997.

In 2010, Toby revealed more about his family in another People interview. Toby claimed, “Everybody in the family is good,” which was even more important to Toby because the kids had to grow up “in the spotlight,” and they’d never gotten “hooked on that part of the business.” He also said, “I was raised by good parents, and I have great kids. They don’t have any issues at all—none.”

Toby’s Daughter, Krystal, Is a Singer as Well

Tricia gave birth to Shelley in 1980 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Shelley allegedly works with her mom and sister on a line of eco-friendly golf apparel for women called SwingDish. 

Shelley is a private person, but her relationship status on Facebook revealed that she started dating Brian Skaggs in 2016. According to one media outlet, Brian is a professional rodeo rider, and Brian and Shelley celebrated their marriage in March 2018.

Shelley also has children. She posted a family photo with her baby at the White House in 2021. People.com reported that Krystal Keith goes by her father’s stage name and not by Toby’s real last name, Covel, as her sister and brother do.

Krystal has also pursued a music career after singing on Toby’s song “Mockingbird” in 2004. In 2013, Krystal released the album Whiskey & Lace, which included a hit song called “Daddy Dance with Me.” 

The song was special to Krystal because she’d performed “Daddy Dance with Me” for the first time in 2010—on the day she married Andrew Sandubrae. Krystal later told Nashville Gab that she wrote the song for the “father-daughter dance at my own wedding.” She also called it “an amazing experience.”

Krystal graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and she and Andrew have two daughters named Kirby and Hensley. According to People, Krystal’s family loves to ski together and celebrate holidays with their extended family.

Today.com reported what Toby said about Krystal’s personal life and career in 2017. Toby recorded a video interview with Taste of Country, and he said, in part, “She loves to sing, but she loves being a mother, and she’s so busy with those kids.” Later in the interview, Toby admitted he’d heard Krystal sing at an event and said, “She’s still got the pipes.”

Stelen Is Just Like His Father

Stelen is Toby and Tricia’s son and their youngest child, and Stelen claims he’s always heard he was similar to his dad “in many ways.” He made this claim on Instagram when he posted an old photo of him and his dad with the caption, “Tell me where I get it from. Man, they always wonder who, then they meet my pops and tell him, ‘Stelen’s just another you.’”

People reported that Stelen graduated from the University of Oklahoma, like his sister, Krystal, and his studies included venture management and entrepreneurship. Stelen has put his education to work as the co-owner of “multiple businesses,” according to People. Stelen is currently a part owner in the 405 Burger Bar, Tequila Chulos, Hollywood Corners, and a local sports reporting news network in Oklahoma called Sellout Crowd.

In November 2021, Stelen and his fiance, Haley, were married in Las Vegas. Stelen’s parents and sisters were among the guests. Stelen later posted a wedding photo and message on social media.

Stelen’s social media message happened the day after Toby announced his cancer diagnosis. Stelen thanked “you all for the kind words and prayers regarding my dad’s announcement yesterday.” Stelen added that Toby is “a fighter, has done all the measures to mitigate it, and needs rest to get back to his self.”

The Family Has Received an Outpouring of Support

On February 6th, a Hello! US report appeared on MSN. The report said that “sympathetic fans” had been flooding Stelen’s social media after Toby passed, and many fans were responding to an emotional message that Stelen posted in honor of his dad last December.

Stelen had included a happy picture of his family. Toby was in the middle of the photo, wearing his signature cowboy hat. Stelen wrote, “Rodeo king @tobykeith,” and Stelen received heartfelt comments after Toby passed away.

One of Stelen’s followers said, “Hope this doesn’t offend you, but I truly am deeply saddened by the news that came overnight.” Then the follower wrote, “Your Dad was loved by so many around the world. I feel like I’ve lost a family member.”

What Happened to Giuliana and Bill Rancic?

Giuliana and Bill Rancic were two of the most popular reality TV stars in the early 2010s, until everything came crashing down for them in 2014.

The two married in 2007 in Italy, when Giuliana was a successful reporter for E! News, and a few years after Bill Rancic won the first season of The Apprentice.

Shortly after their wedding, the couple signed on to a reality show on The Style Network, called Giuliana and Bill, that followed their lives as they tried to have a baby, start new businesses, and split their lives between Chicago and Los Angeles.

The show was wildly successful, because people loved to see two celebrities who were from normal backgrounds, and who had fairly normal lives despite their crazy careers.

Fans especially felt for Giuliana during her scary breast cancer diagnosis, and the couple’s fertility journey, which ultimately ended with the two having a baby via surrogate in 2012, Duke Rancic.

During the show, their lives were wild, and featured a crazy amount of jetsetting around the country. Giuliana was on E! News and Fashion Police, and started a clothing line with HSN. Bill was opening many restaurants all over the country, they wrote a book together, and their son was growing up quickly.

The Comment That Ruined Giuliana Rancic’s Career

However, everything came to a screeching halt in January 2015, when Giuliana famously made comments that put her in hot water about Zendaya on Fashion Police.

The “joke” was widely condemned by the internet, Giuliana’s Fashion Police co-hosts, and even Zendaya herself.

Giuliana made a statement, apologizing and saying that she was using the experience as a learning experience.

She also stated that she believed that the joke was edited to come off as having bad intent, but when watching the unedited version, it was clear that that was not the case.

The unedited version was obtained, and many believe that she was correct in saying that her joke did not have bad intent.

However, many people believed that she was trying to channel Joan Rivers, who had died a few months prior to the scandal.

Whatever happened, it wasn’t good for Giuliana and Bill’s careers.

The couple’s reality show ended abruptly in 2014 after seven seasons.

Giuliana made comments that they had decided to end the show due to their son’s age. They believed that he was getting to an age where all of his firsts shouldn’t be filmed and displayed on TV.

However, many believe that the show would’ve been renewed for an eighth season, but was ultimately canceled following her controversial comments about Zendaya.

Her longtime career as an E! News lead anchor ended shortly after as well.

In August of 2015, just eight months after the Zendaya controversy, Giuliana announced that she was leaving the job that made her a star, and that she was leaving E! News and the E! Family.

This didn’t come as too big of a shock for people who had been following the controversy over the previous eight months. 

After her comments about Zendaya, insiders believed that it would blow over and she’d go on with her career as normal. However, that wasn’t the case, and her career continued to plummet.

Giuliana claims that her decision to leave E! was entirely her own. She says that she wasn’t secretly fired, or forced out. However, from the outside looking in, that’s hard to believe.

It’s been six years since Giuliana first left the show that started it all for her. So, just what are Bill and Giuliana up to these days?

Where Are Bill and Giuliana Now?

The couple seems to live a more “normal” life than her days of hosting E! News. Their son, Duke, is 9 years old, and the family appears to now live full-time in Chicago.

Giuliana and Bill were still splitting their time between Los Angeles and Chicago until October 2020, when they sold their Brentwood mansion for $10.7 million, which was $3 million more than they paid just a few years before.

After selling their Los Angeles home, they were left with two residences: their home in Chicago, and their vacation home in Idaho.

And as for more children, Giuliana’s said that the dream is still there — but she’s focused on Duke right now.

The couple unfortunately miscarried their remaining two embryos in 2014. At the time, Giuliana and Bill said that they were so grateful for Duke, and focused on him, especially because of how hard they fought to have him.

Surprisingly, Giuliana’s retirement from E! News in 2015 wasn’t the end of her career with the popular channel.

She had previously been doing award show and red carpet coverage after her departure, but decided to come back full-time and host with her former co-host, Jason Kennedy, once again, in June of 2018.

Giuliana took over for Catt Sadler, who famously left E! News in 2017 after learning that she was getting paid considerably less than her co-host, Jason Kennedy. 

Giuliana’s Return to E! Was Short-Lived

However, Giuliana’s return was short-lived.

In 2019, E! announced that the filming of E! News would be moving to New York City. She later announced that because of the move, she would be leaving the show. 

Giuliana made a statement about focusing on her family, but fans took note of something interesting in her announcement. She said that nothing is more important than family, and that they were hoping to grow their family soon.

Unfortunately for the couple, that was two years ago, and Giuliana and Bill have not had another child yet. 

As for what the couple’s up to now, it’s hard to say with certainty.

The famously public couple has been increasingly private in the past few years.

Giuliana and Bill have pulled back their social media accounts considerably.

Both used to post very frequently, but now only post a couple of times a month. It appears that they’re choosing to live life out of the spotlight as their son, Duke, continues to grow up.

While she no longer appears on E! News every night, Giuliana and Bill do still make appearances on various talk shows.

Most often, they appear on Rachael Ray, where they share their tips for raising a family, balancing work, and having a successful marriage.

Along with their Hollywood aspirations, they also own several restaurants. They co-own RPM Italian in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Washington DC, and RPM Steak and RPM Seafood in Chicago. They also co-own Giuliana Prosecco, a wine company that’s stocked all over the country.

They recently made headlines last fall, when their entire family unfortunately contracted Covid-19, including their son Duke.

Giuliana unfortunately tested positive when preparing for the E! News red carpet coverage of the Emmys.

Bill did an interview via Zoom on the popular daytime talk show, The Doctors, shortly after the family’s diagnosis.

He said that the three of them had been secluded together at their family home in Idaho since March, and they unfortunately contracted the virus from a family friend who was in their “pod.”

Fortunately, he shared that while he had body aches and some respiratory problems, Giuliana had even fewer symptoms. He said that they were worried about her symptoms due to her breast cancer diagnosis in 2011.

Since the family’s unfortunate diagnosis, Giuliana’s career has changed once again.

In May of 2021, she announced that she was leaving E! once and for all.

While she remained on the team doing red carpet coverage previously, in May of 2021 she announced that she was stepping down for good, after hosting the red carpets for hundreds of award shows over the course of 20 years.

Her announcement came just weeks after her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, announced that he would also be stepping down from red carpet coverage with E!. He had been in the role for 14 years.

Fans were shocked by both announcements, but it doesn’t seem like Giuliana will be completely stepping away from the spotlight.

She announced that although she was stepping down as a red carpet correspondent, she had signed an exclusive deal with NBC to produce television rather than host it herself.

Giuliana and Bill Have Remained Together Through It All

It’s still unclear what exactly Giuliana will be producing, but her fans are excited to see what she brings to television screens with this new deal.

Giuliana and Bill have had two of the most varied careers in the history of reality TV. It seems like they’ve done it all, from books, to restaurants, clothing lines, and multiple TV shows. 

While their navigation through stardom and fame hasn’t always been easy or without controversy, they’ve managed not only to remain successful, but to stay together and maintain a healthy marriage while doing it.

Their 14-year marriage and 20 years together is virtually unheard of when it comes to reality TV stars.

While we can’t predict the future, we can only hope that Giuliana and Bill will come back to the reality TV world and keep gracing our TVs for many years to come.
